Legacy Ranch! From our first meeting with the ladies there, to the after-wedding day communications, these gals have been superb! Friendly, thoughtful, caring, professional and detail oriented. And one of the things I loved? That they do their entire job well while also giving you the space to "own" the place and enjoy the entire home and grounds on the wedding day as if it were your own home. No one intruding, no one pocking around, just the entire place to yourselves and yet, if you needed them, they are just a text or call away and quickly hop in to help. Something else we loved: it was gorgeous! We didn't need any further decor than the table centerpieces. The natural beauty is magnificent - even in the middle of a Texas August! I can only imagine the glory of it all during the blooming Spring time! The size of the house and patio and adorable outdoor, open-air chapel was perfect! There were no hidden fees (like so many other places have!) These ladies were upfront on costs and what all they provide and they made it easy to happen! I highly recommend Avalon Legacy Ranch. It is adorable, homey, gorgeous, natural, roomy enough, and a beautiful place to create such special memories! I think at least half of our guests continue to mention (almost 3 months later) what a beautiful venue it was and the other half are thinking it! They all loved it as much as we did! Thank you, Avalon Legacy! You were a joy to work with and I secretly hope our son will one day want to hold his own special day there when and if the time comes! Such an amazing venue and friendly, professional people who make you feel like life-long friends!

answer any little question I had! If I had no budget for a wedding, I would find a way to book this venue still and walk down in the clothes that I had. Can’t recommend this venue enough!

nue was perfect for cocktail hour, with dim lighting and plenty of space/seating for guests. The upstairs bridal room was spacious and perfect for our bridesmaid getting ready photos! an imagine would be hot be we didn’t hear a single complaint from any of our guests (who mostly were from up north and not used to the Texas heat) only compliments! They had plenty of fans and portacoolers on deck for us and everything was so amazingly smooth. We had Alee coordinate our wedding and I cannot recommend her and her staff enough. They were a breath of fresh air and made things so easy. 100000/10 venue and staff!

enue and hiring Alee as my day of was the most valuable decision I made during the whole process. Also this venue already had so many decorative features, so I saved a lot on flowers and decoration. Highly recommend this place!

24 and the fall foliage provided the scene we had dreamt about. It feels warm and inviting not cold. We hired Alee as our wedding coordinator and she was superb. If you have to make a hard decision on where to get married definitely select this venue and staff you won’t regret it!

annot even begin to know how to describe it all. From the day we signed our contract through pulling away from the venue after our reception - it was all amazing. I still feel like it was a dream. Our guests (local, from out of town AND EVEN international!) gave us so many compliments on the venue. We loved that it had character (creaky floors, homey feel) and our guests truly did appreciate having so many different gathering areas to hang out in. I know people took advantage of the fire pits. The bridal suite was incredible and all the ladies we had come hang out agreed - having so much room, natural light, and cute details added to the experience for sure. A special, incredible thank you to Alee who ran like the wind to get my bouquet at the last minute. When I say I haven't seen anyone run with such purpose, I am not exaggerating. The new swing down by the lake is magical. The receptionist at our hotel just started gushing when she found out where our wedding was. Seems to have been the reaction whenever we told anyone in the McKinney area. Alee, Debi, and the whole Avalon Legacy Ranch team have really built something special.

Not only did we love it, but the guests did too! They were able to explore the land, go inside if they wanted quieter conversations, and escape for a little in the Texas countryside! the event amazing. Even the vendors were very complimentary of the venue. They made sure the venue was spotless and ready to receive visitors. Each time I visited for walkthroughs or whatever, they were ALWAYS working on something to improve the venue. My dad said immediately "I would love a house like this". Our guests were very pleased with the venue. We had around 60 guests.

whose cost comes in well below its value. There are a ton of great, very fairly priced value adds available like a photo trailer, farmhouse tables, and some great onsite decor. The venue is beautiful enough on its own that we skipped a florist. We were able to go very minimal on external decorations, we did some simple centerpieces with things like vases, bird cages and candleholders Avalon had on hand, we paid maybe one vendor delivery fee for linens setup. The outdoor ceremony space was perfect as-is, and needed nothing more from us. The getting-ready space is massive and well-appointed; we had about 15 women between both of our wedding parties and there was plenty of space for everyone to get ready. Debi took us all over the property during our cocktail hour to make sure we got great photos. The venue was well staffed for a very seamless day.

th my vendors. Avalon Legacy Ranch and their staff made that anxiety fade with every email exchange and phone call. Not only do they have a list of vendors for each component of the wedding, and every one I talked to and used was wonderful. The Team at Avalon was also amazingly accommodating, thorough and expedient. Alee Ladd was my main point of contact as well as the day of coordinator and I couldn't have had a smoother wedding day. I never felt uneasy and all of my questions were answered before I even asked. I never had to wonder about where something was or was going to be. To add an extra cherry on top the venue itself is so beautiful can cut down on costs of decorations, and the selection of in house decor was excellent if you do want to add some pizzaz. I also wanted to give a special thank you and shout out to Heather as she was with me in the dressing room for the final moments before walking out to the ceremony and probably saw me at my most nervous and helped me remain calm enough to walk down the stairs without tripping and for that alone I want to say thank you! Thankfully though I have many things to say thank you for and if they could pack up the experience and travel I would recommend this venue and the wonderful team to every bride I knew! But in leu of that, I will recommend it to anyone that reads this review! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts- The Smiths

Alee as our month & day-of coordinator, who was all around super nice and easy to work with (highly reco!) Our vision was executed near flawlessly and our overall goal for a relaxed day was absolutely achieved. We DID get rain right before our First Look, but the bridal suite was perfectly suitable as a backup…and we got more rain right before our scheduled ceremony time, but Alee, Heather & team were still able to help us get married outside after checking the radar and recommending a short delay. And in the meantime, our guests were kept comfortable inside the main house AND happy since we were allowed to open the bar early! Double win and one of the many benefits of getting married here. We'd be remiss if we didn’t mention how beautiful and lush the garden / surrounding trees looked - shoutout to Debi for planting more flowers that morning, we saw you! Overall, ALR has a ton of value for the cost, have relationships with fantastic vendors (used several of them), and is run by a wonderful, kind, and flexible team of women! Thank you again!

r vision. She was always prompt, organized, and present throughout the process and was such a calming presence. She even sewed me back into my dress at one point! The space was beautiful and perfect for us to create our dream wedding. Our guests loved the variety of spaces to use. Our favorite feature was the dumbwaiter and we had so much fun sending each other gifts while getting ready. Our photographer enjoyed the wide range of backgrounds to choose from for portraits, wedding party, and family photos. We truly could not have asked for a better and more welcoming venue.

Truly cannot say enough amazing things about this venue and their staff!

f my wedding they took care of all vendors so I had a whole day to prepare with my bridesmaids without any distractions. They even let me have my two dogs participate and be apart of my wedding which was huge since they are my babies!!

Every time I mentioned to a vendor that this is where we were having our wedding, the vendor would just go on and on about how much they loved Alee and Debi and this venue. Everything was absolutely perfect! I highly recommend!

’s deep woods speakeasy Flapper theme the was PERFECT for the Venue! Capable of entertaining large or intimate gatherings…. That Ceremony stained glass outdoors structure and pews are religious and all the same in nature… BEST OF BOTH WORLDS!! The venue can be multi weather permitting with plans for anything that Texas can suddenly bring! Incredibly happy with the service and ambiance of this venue!!!
