Avalon Legacy Ranch

Avalon Legacy Ranch exceeded our expectations for our wedding. The venue is gorgeous! Every detail is well thought out for your special day or event. We held our wedding October 2024 and the fall foliage provided the scene we had dreamt about. It feels warm and inviting not cold. We hired Alee as our wedding coordinator and she was superb. If you have to make a hard decision on where to get married definitely select this venue and staff you won’t regret it!

My husband and I got married October 12 at Avalon Legacy Ranch. This venue booking was the first decision we made when planning and let me tell you, it was our best decision. I cannot even begin to know how to describe it all. From the day we signed our contract through pulling away from the venue after our reception - it was all amazing. I still feel like it was a dream. Our guests (local, from out of town AND EVEN international!) gave us so many compliments on the venue. We loved that it had character (creaky floors, homey feel) and our guests truly did appreciate having so many different gathering areas to hang out in. I know people took advantage of the fire pits. The bridal suite was incredible and all the ladies we had come hang out agreed - having so much room, natural light, and cute details added to the experience for sure. A special, incredible thank you to Alee who ran like the wind to get my bouquet at the last minute. When I say I haven't seen anyone run with such purpose, I am not exaggerating. The new swing down by the lake is magical. The receptionist at our hotel just started gushing when she found out where our wedding was. Seems to have been the reaction whenever we told anyone in the McKinney area. Alee, Debi, and the whole Avalon Legacy Ranch team have really built something special.

Avalon Legacy Ranch was absolutely incredible! We also used Alee as our day of coordinator here and the day was a huge success because of her and the work the rest of the Avalon team put in. They were so helpful before the wedding, but also we were so thankful for them during the wedding. 1,000,000/10 recommend them!

Alee and the team truly went above and beyond for us at this beautiful venue! We were coming from California and Alee spared no effort in making sure all our needs and questions were met. The venue itself was incredibly beautiful as well. It rained on our wedding day and they covered setup at Avalon had had all our guests loving the venue almost more. Couldn't have wished for a better day!

The dreamiest venue in North Texas!! Debi, Alee, and Heather were the best to work with, quick at replying, and able to answer any questions you have! They are extremely friendly and really are there to make all your wedding dreams come true. The venue itself is so homey and intimate, but also opens up to acres of green, plants, and ponds. Not only did we love it, but the guests did too! They were able to explore the land, go inside if they wanted quieter conversations, and escape for a little in the Texas countryside! I would recommend this venue a million times over!

Debi, Alee, and Heather are FANTASTIC to work with. They truly made this process so easy. We talked with a lot of venues but Avalon Legacy Ranch stood out because we truly felt like more than a number to them. They helped with everything and treated us like family. I booked them before I even visited because I knew it would be absolutely perfect for my wedding vision! The ladies running the place are very helpful, quick to follow up and made the event amazing. Even the vendors were very complimentary of the venue. They made sure the venue was spotless and ready to receive visitors. Each time I visited for walkthroughs or whatever, they were ALWAYS working on something to improve the venue. My dad said immediately "I would love a house like this". Our guests were very pleased with the venue. We had around 60 guests.

We absolutely loved having our elopement and later our ceremony celebration at Avalon Legacy Ranch! The entire team there was extremely welcoming and supportive throughout the entire experience from first contact through after the events. The venue is beautiful and very well cared for. Our guest had a wonderful time and loved it as well!

Beautiful wedding, easy planning, great staff Avalon Legacy Ranch is an absolutely stunning venue that requires minimal work on the couple’s end to create a gorgeous wedding, and whose cost comes in well below its value. There are a ton of great, very fairly priced value adds available like a photo trailer, farmhouse tables, and some great onsite decor. The venue is beautiful enough on its own that we skipped a florist. We were able to go very minimal on external decorations, we did some simple centerpieces with things like vases, bird cages and candleholders Avalon had on hand, we paid maybe one vendor delivery fee for linens setup. The outdoor ceremony space was perfect as-is, and needed nothing more from us. The getting-ready space is massive and well-appointed; we had about 15 women between both of our wedding parties and there was plenty of space for everyone to get ready. Debi took us all over the property during our cocktail hour to make sure we got great photos. The venue was well staffed for a very seamless day.

The entire team at the Avalon Legacy Ranch did such an amazing job during my wedding. We had our reception at the ranch and they accommodated a large guest list and helped us plan the layout and seating-- it turned out spectacular! They were so helpful with any challenges we faced. They were friendly, prompt, and thorough. Our event with them was incredible. Highly recommend!

We had our post-elopement celebration here and it was a dream come true. Debi, Alee, and Hannah were all wonderful to work with and really did their best to make sure we had everything we needed and that the day ran smoothly. They are excellent at communicating and will answer any questions you’ve got. Our guests are still talking about how beautiful the venue is. Avalon Legacy Ranch is an amazing venue! We had our wedding in October 2023 and the weather was perfect. The staff is incredible - we highly recommend hiring Alee as your month of coordinator. She will go above and beyond for you. The venue itself is beautiful and requires minimal additional decor to make it look like a million bucks.

When planning a wedding out of town, an extra layer of nervousness crept in when I was choosing my venue, as I knew I would only have a limited amount of "hands on" interactions with my vendors. Avalon Legacy Ranch and their staff made that anxiety fade with every email exchange and phone call. Not only do they have a list of vendors for each component of the wedding, and every one I talked to and used was wonderful. The Team at Avalon was also amazingly accommodating, thorough and expedient. Alee Ladd was my main point of contact as well as the day of coordinator and I couldn't have had a smoother wedding day. I never felt uneasy and all of my questions were answered before I even asked. I never had to wonder about where something was or was going to be. To add an extra cherry on top the venue itself is so beautiful can cut down on costs of decorations, and the selection of in house decor was excellent if you do want to add some pizzaz. I also wanted to give a special thank you and shout out to Heather as she was with me in the dressing room for the final moments before walking out to the ceremony and probably saw me at my most nervous and helped me remain calm enough to walk down the stairs without tripping and for that alone I want to say thank you! Thankfully though I have many things to say thank you for and if they could pack up the experience and travel I would recommend this venue and the wonderful team to every bride I knew! We got married here a few weeks ago on a Friday with around 70 guests and it was truly magical! I never had any concerns that they day would go well especially since we also hired Alee as our month & day-of coordinator, who was all around super nice and easy to work with (highly reco!) Our vision was executed near flawlessly and our overall goal for a relaxed day was absolutely achieved. We DID get rain right before our First Look, but the bridal suite was perfectly suitable as a backup…and we got more rain right before our scheduled ceremony time, but Alee, Heather & team were still able to help us get married outside after checking the radar and recommending a short delay. And in the meantime, our guests were kept comfortable inside the main house AND happy since we were allowed to open the bar early! Double win and one of the many benefits of getting married here. We'd be remiss if we didn’t mention how beautiful and lush the garden / surrounding trees looked - shoutout to Debi for planting more flowers that morning, we saw you! Overall, ALR has a ton of value for the cost, have relationships with fantastic vendors (used several of them), and is run by a wonderful, kind, and flexible team of women! Thank you again!

My husband and I got married here a few weeks ago and everything was absolutely perfect. Alee was awesome and made our wedding day even more perfect. They were professional and made me feel not stressed. The space was perfect for our guest count of 105. It was roomy and felt super spacious. 10/10. Zero complaints

My husband and I got married here in February 2022 and it was one of the best decisions we made for our day! Alee was absolutely incredible and supportive with helping us create our vision. She was always prompt, organized, and present throughout the process and was such a calming presence. She even sewed me back into my dress at one point! The space was beautiful and perfect for us to create our dream wedding. Our guests loved the variety of spaces to use. Our favorite feature was the dumbwaiter and we had so much fun sending each other gifts while getting ready. Our photographer enjoyed the wide range of backgrounds to choose from for portraits, wedding party, and family photos. We truly could not have asked for a better and more welcoming venue.

Me and my husband got married here last November! It was an absolute dream!! The venue was beautiful and the staff was so generous and helpful with anything I needed and always answered texts and questions quickly. It was the perfect mix of outdoors and rustic chic! Debbie and Alee are the best and we could not recommend them enough to make your day as special as they did ours!

My wife and I got married here in November and we loved it. It turned out to be a cold Texas day/night, but the heaters and house offered so much relief to the guests and they truly still had a blast. My groomsmen and I liked the space for us to get ready - had a TV for football games so we were happy. The staff was great and we loved having this as our venue.

I attended my friends wedding here and it was stunning! The reception space is very open but also very welcoming all at the same time. I loved the fire pits and the small things to explore on the property. All of the other guests seem to really enjoy the space as well.

Our wedding was 11.19.22 at Avalon Legacy Ranch and it was EVERYTHING! The reason we chose this venue was so our guests could enjoy all the spaces they have to offer without feeling tied to a table all night and it was perfect for that! The ceremony space is so intimate and romantic (even with 160 people). Alee and Debbie who run the venue are 11/10! Their communication was unmatched and so refreshing when dealing with a vendor. We were allowed to bring in our own vendors but used a few of their preferred vendors because they know what good it. Truly cannot say enough amazing things about this venue and their staff!

Just had our wedding there on 11/12/2022! Alee and Debi Ladd were the absolute sweetest and most helpful venue owners anyone could possibly ask for. They were responsive to questions in emails and text, and really helped pump you up for the big day. We truly can't thank them enough for their kindness and help. Also, the security we hired (referred by the venue) were SO SWEET and helpful on the wedding day! I wish I had gotten a photo with them, but am happy that I at least got to hug them before we had our sparkler sendoff! Truly a perfect venue with the best people!

This was my absolute dream venue and team to work with. Severe thunderstorms on our wedding day but Alee Ladd, who we also hired for our day of coordinator, was so accommodating and made me feel at ease. Even if you have inclement weather on your special day preventing you from having your wedding outdoors, I still highly recommend this venue and the help of Alee. We received so many compliments on the selection of the venue. Wish I could do it all over and over again!

We had a beautiful fall wedding at Avalon and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Debi and Alee were wonderful throughout the entire process and even supplied us with loads of great planning resources and checklists to make sure we felt supported and organized. Our wedding day went so smoothly in large part due to their professionalism and hospitality. The venue itself is a treasure with more scenic, stunning photo opportunities than you can count accented by a really comfortable yet intimate atmosphere with unique touches. They have a solid reputation with preferred (and other) vendors as well. Highly recommend.

The Avalon is beautiful! So many places to take amazing pictures. Allie helped make our day very special. Allie and Debbie have thought of everything and were so helpful. I can’t say enough about Avalon… our guests also enjoyed the venue and commented on how beautiful it was.

Beautiful venue! I had my wedding here back in October and it was such a wonderful experience. The owners and staff were very helpful and attentive to my needs and wants. The day of my wedding they took care of all vendors so I had a whole day to prepare with my bridesmaids without any distractions. They even let me have my two dogs participate and be apart of my wedding which was huge since they are my babies!!

Avalon was the best decision we made for our wedding. They made every dream we had for our Christmas wedding come true. It was so stunning and unique! Truly just a breath taking place. Debi and Alee are Terrific!!! The Venue itself is amazing and for the price, it is a STEAL!! It is private with tons of photo opportunities over acreage of property!! We had a 1920’s deep woods speakeasy Flapper theme the was PERFECT for the Venue! Capable of entertaining large or intimate gatherings…. That Ceremony stained glass outdoors structure and pews are religious and all the same in nature… BEST OF BOTH WORLDS!! The venue can be multi weather permitting with plans for anything that Texas can suddenly bring! Incredibly happy with the service and ambiance of this venue!!!

Avalon Legacy Ranch was the perfect location for my big day. Originally we chose this venue based on its outdoor ceremony and reception areas not knowing what would happen with COVID-19. I also wanted something outdoors without leaning too far into the barn/country theme I'd seen at a lot of other venues. Avalon is rustic but its natural beauty goes well with any wedding style or theme you can dream up. Alee and Debi, were both so helpful during the 10-month planning process. Debi sent timely reminders and updates about everything from event insurance to day-of-event reminders. I ended up hiring Alee to help me with month-of/day-of wedding coordination and that was the best money we spent during the entire process - no lie. Alee, already knowing the venue, was a PRO at helping me on my wedding day. She kept me apprised of the time and what was next on the schedule (I was missing my apple watch that day!), she made sure I got something to eat, that I got time to breathe with my new husband, she handled all of the tiny bits of turbulence that comes up on a wedding day. I love her - truly. I wish I could take her home with me! Back to the ranch, the bridal suite had a ton of space and the groomsmen's room was perfect with a tv and couches. I cannot wait to see the photos so I can share how beautiful the venue's grounds were. Immaculate gardens and everything was spotless indoors and out. And would you believe they had a wedding there the night before??? I showed up at 10 am and everything was sparkling clean. Another plus: their preferred vendor list was chock full of rock stars. We found our caterer, DJ, and bartenders from that list. Avalon Legacy Ranch in McKinney is the perfect place to feel like you are having a destination wedding while being only 12 minutes from the highway. Book your wedding here!

My family and I absolutely loved Avalon Legacy Ranch as our venue! The venue is beautiful and even though it’s outside it is well kept, quiet and intimate. The covered reception is well beautiful and plenty of room to dance. The house on the venue has many places and props to take beautiful pictures. And the staff is fabulous, Alee and Debi are very flexible and generous! Not to mention they have affordable packages to best fit your special day and wedding plans. I highly recommend booking your special day with them!

My wedding day was perfect. Why? Because it was at Avalon and I had Alee. The venue is hands down gorgeous. Everything is kept so clean and the grounds are well maintained. All of the vendors Alee recommended were superb and easy to work with. Alee did all the things I didn’t want to do - like contact the vendors and be the liaison. It was very easy to communicate with Alee and share with her my vision for my day and what my expectations were. She exceeded them all. I wanted a day to remember not just for me but for my guests as well. It’s been almost two years since I was married at Avalon and I still hear my guests compliment my wedding! A big shout out to Alee and the Avalon staff!

My wife and I got married at Avalon Legacy Ranch August 28th! It was the most beautiful day! Our journey with Avalon started over a year ago! My wife and I completely fell in love with the venue at first sight! Alee and Debi were a special added bonus!! Both of them were such a pleasure to work with! They answered all of our questions and were extremely helpful and supportive through the whole process! We could not have had such a successful wedding without the help of them and their lovely team! My mom is still raving about Becca and Alee! We ended up coming to the venue to take pre wedding photos and they came out spectacular! One of the many reasons we picked this venue was there is so many places for photos and videos! The bridal party was so impressed with how much space was provided! Debi and Alee provide an amazing vendor recommendation selection, we followed it and could not have been happier with how the vendors turn out! We were obsessed with the reception deck area it felt like we were in a tree house. They did an amazing job keeping it cool for our summer wedding! For our older guests it was important that the venue was a indoor / outdoor which it is! My grandparents enjoyed being able to come inside. We added on the farm tables and they are absolutely stunning!! We received so many compliments from our guests about the venue and it’s location! We had a lot of out of town guests and it is in a prime location as there are so many hotels around! We would give 10 stars ⭐️ if we could!

The venue is absolutely beautiful and the staff is more than accommodating and amazing in every way! When our friends got married at the end of the Blackouts and snow storm everything could have gone wrong instead they helped all of us to make sure that it was an amazing day for them. Nothing was unthought of and you never would have imagined the weather had caused so many issues just days prior! Would recommend over and over again!!

The ranch is truly a hidden gem! Alee was extremely accommodating with scheduling our tour, she even made sure I received pricing with their preferred vendors. The ranch is extremely easy to find, I had a sense of serenity while driving the pathway to the venue. Side note: (Look for the adorable little signs on left that lets you know you're getting closer to the venue) Parking was off the right side, and more than enough space for your guests. When I walked through the door my eyes went towards the gorgeous library seating area just ahead it opens up to the fully equipped kitchen and beautiful bar! From the bridal suite, grooms room and outdoor restroom I was amazed how everything was just as pictured! The outdoor ceremony literally had me picturing myself walking through the rustic doors and walking down the aisle! Ill leave my final opinion: Rustic with pinches of timeless glam Affordable (The venue does require security) Well kept Great communication (Alee was awesome!) Venue is flexible!

Highly recommend this venue for your wedding or any event!! It is absolutely GORGEOUS!! These place speaks for itself and honestly needs little decor, which I loved! I had my wedding here in March and it was a dream come true! Everyone could not stop talking about how beautiful it is. The place has a lot of space, we had 10 bridesmaids and 10 groomsmen and there was so much space for girls upstairs and guys downstairs. The bridal suite is huge!! Then you have the ceremony outdoors that is breathtaking!! The reception area has these beautiful lights to dance the night away under! Not to mention, Debi and Alee were so amazing to work with and truly want your event to go amazingly! Everyone always wants their event to have no hiccups but of course it always happens but Debi and Alee were sooo helpful and there to help me!! I wish I would have used Alee as my coordinator as I'm sure she would have been amazing for day of/ month of craziness! I absolutely recommend this place!!!

If you don’t get married here, you actually won’t have the best wedding venue in DFW. ALR is beautiful and perfect and I would get married again there 20 times over. The staff is amazing. Debi and Alee are there for everything and anything you need. Love love love love them. I can’t tell anyone enough how amazing this place is.

Absolutely gorgeous venue (omg the lighting!) with wonderful staff that will do everything they can to make sure your wedding is everything you envisioned. We got married in April...2 weeks before our wedding date EVERYTHING closed down due to CoVid. Debi and Alee were wonderful about working with us to reschedule our reception and coordinate with our vendors on a new date. 2020 was a rough year for anyone trying to plan a wedding and at times we wondered if it would ever happen, and if it did, would it be worth everything we put into it. Luckily for us we chose the right space and people. We could not have been happier with how beautiful the venue was and how smoothly everything ran.

ALR is the most beautiful venue I've ever been to! They were the only venue we visited because we instantly knew that's where we wanted to get married. Debi and Alee were so wonderful and incredibly helpful throughout our entire engagement. Almost all of our vendors were from their preferred list and we have zero regrets. They communicated with us and helped with anything we needed. You can tell just being there they genuinely love weddings and helping couples make their day special and memorable. I highly recommend!!

If you are considering Avalon Legacy Ranch for your wedding- BOOK IT! I can't even begin to describe how amazing our wedding day was- the beautiful bridal suites and ranch house, 25 acres of unbelievable property that guests can walk around to explore, the covered reception porch, the outdoor chapel with wooden benches and stained glass- everything is just stunning. Our guests are still raving about how beautiful the venue is and how much they loved the property. The Avalon staff, Debi and Alee are SO professional and made our big day perfect. You can tell that every part of the venue is cared for with love, though the compassion of the Avalon team and how they treat the Bride&Groom and guests. Even through the challenges of COVID this year, they were incredibly communicative and made us feel comfortable through the unknown. Would 100% recommend this venue looking for a dreamy, outdoor/indoor magical wedding!

Words cannot express my gratitude for Debi Ladd and the Avalon Legacy Ranch staff.. My entire wedding planning and wedding day was something out of a magazine! It was the PERFECT wedding and it's all because of them. I came to them with little to no ideas for what I wanted to experience. Debi, being who she is, made magic out of NOTHING. My husband knew we wanted to get married but being in the middle of a pandemic and losing our jobs we had nowhere to start. Debi took a huge load off of us in the midst of her own series of wedding cancellations. This is just a small testament to her heart and the REAL work she does each day. On a cold but beautiful Friday evening, 3-20-2020 my daughter Emelia and Joshua got married. Originally planned for Sunday 3-22-20 but on Thursday mid morning we were told that the wedding could no longer go forward due to COVID shut downs!! By God's grace and a whole lot of miracle workers at ALR, we were able to get all the vendors to reschedule for Friday! We only had an afternoon to plan it all! It was crazy emotional, but ended up perfect. We went from a 100+ guest wedding to around 25 guests! But it was absolutely wonderful. The wedding coordinator made it all happen! The venue looked fabulous and our guests were in awe of the gorgeous venue! Thanks Avalon Legacy Ranch!!!

Avalon Legacy Ranch and the entire team there are absolutely INCREDIBLE! My husband and I got married at ALR in November of 2018 and almost two years later I still would not change a single thing. From our first tour we knew we wanted to get married there but looked at a few other venues just to be sure, and nothing even compared! Every single inch of this venue, both inside and outside, has clearly been given so much love and detailed attention from the staff and it really shines through. The house and deck are gorgeous, the walk down to the outdoor chapel is beautiful, and the outdoor chapel itself is amazing (pictures don’t even do this venue justice)! One of my biggest concerns with having an outdoor wedding in Texas during November was the weather. Would it be 30 degrees or 100 degrees? Would it be sunny and amazing or pouring rain? Luckily at ALR it really doesn’t matter either way. Their “backup” ceremony location on the deck is equally as gorgeous as the outdoor ceremony site and they have plenty of ways to help you combat the Texas heat or cold! When I say they are prepared to help you with anything….they really are! They are very flexible with vendors but can also give you great recommendations if you aren’t sure who to use. There was also a lot of flexibility around scheduling times for tours, engagement photos, and rehearsal times, which was extremely helpful since we lived two hours away. As a whole, the venue is run by incredible people who clearly take pride in their work and want to make each wedding as wonderful as possible. Our entire wedding day ended up being so filled with joy and love (with 0% stress) and a huge part of that was because of the venue and the people who run it. We also chose to use Alee as our month of coordinator and WOW she is so sweet and wonderful. Alee is an incredible human and was the reassuring voice that you just sometimes need, especially when you’re trying to figure out how to plan a wedding. She helped us through some last minute planning, rehearsals (both on the deck and at the chapel because I always feel the need to be prepared lol), she handled setting up the decor, she helped keep everyone on track, made sure my stuff got into our getaway car, got us to our exit, sent us off with some leftovers from the caterer, and was just overall so incredibly wonderful! TLDR: This venue is outrageously gorgeous and working with Alee is a dream! Having our wedding here was the best decision we made!

From start to finish planning a wedding at ALR was seamless! We even had to reschedule do to COVID and being in shut down on our original date, but Debi and Alee were amazing to work with. It felt like home from the moment we walked in! Our friends and family loved every minute of our ceremony and reception! Thank you ALR for lifetime memories of our special day!!

Our whole wedding planning process (in spite of having to postpone due to COVID) has been phenomenal, and we attribute so much to that to having chosen Avalon Legacy Ranch as our venue. My fiancé and I had no doubt that this was the place we wanted to have our wedding in, probably after five minutes of visiting. As you drive in, you see a sign that says "Happily ever after starts here" and I seriously cry every time I see it. Unlike other venues, ALR doesn't feel like a "wedding factory" where everything feels calculated. The magic of Avalon is that it feels homey and inviting while still being full of special and romantic details everywhere you look. The cherry on top for us was choosing Alee to help us plan our wedding, too. We live in CA, so being that far meant we'd need some help, and we could've never imagined someone more wonderful than her. I was worried about butting heads with a planner, but Alee was full of great ideas, understanding our taste and style, and was able to recommend the perfect vendors for us. She became a friend along the way, and that's made wedding planning feel so exciting and fun. We were supposed to get married in April 2020, when things were the worst with COVID, and Debi and Alee were so helpful in helping us figure out a plan B that worked for us. We've felt supported and rooted for in every possible way, and know that our perfect wedding celebration awaits and it could only happen at Avalon Legacy Ranch.

We fell in love with Avalon Legacy Ranch in pictures and then we we went to visit we knew it was perfect. This is such a charming venue and everyone could not stop taking about how beautiful our wedding was (and decorations were not on the top of my list). You do have to hire a coordinator to help you on your day of, but Alee does a wonderful job and I definitely recommend hiring her for the whole month before! She did so much to make that last month so easy and took care of everything on wedding day. Seriously so happy we got married at Avalon. I cannot recommend it enough!

This was a beautiful venue for our summer wedding. So many guests commented on how much they loved the beautiful grounds, the romantic wedding chapel, the lovely bar area, and the twinkling lights on the outdoor patio reception area. Deb and Alee were very helpful in answering any questions we had in a timely manner. We couldn't have been happier with how the wedding turned out. Avalon Legacy Ranch was the perfect venue for us.
