Choosing Avenue D Events was single handedly the best decision we made to ensure a seamless wedding experience! My husband and I knew that we wanted to have a beautiful stress-free...
wedding planning process and the team at Avenue D delivered!
The “Everything But The Dress” Package was truly a life-saver! As our in house wedding planners Laura and Samantha ensured that everything was taken care of from start to finish! This meant that we received vetted, top tier vendors from across the Birmingham Area without having to manage complicated contracts and timelines. Although we were not living in Birmingham, they worked with us to ensure that every detail was handled including in-person and virtual vendor meeting scheduling and day of timeline coordination. All we had to do throughout the process was show up!
What we were most impressed by, however, was the kindness and attentiveness shown by Laura, Samantha, and Allie (our design and decor expert) in the weeks leading up to the wedding. You all were a heaven-sent dream team! I can truly say that on the day of our wedding, we were not stressed one bit. We were able to enjoy the entire day knowing that everything was taken care of. This is such a rare experience and all of the credit goes to the team at Avenue D.
Thank you Laura, Samantha, Allie, and Chuck for curating the perfect wedding experience for us from start to finish!
The entire team was so helpful during the entire process. You can definitely tell they have been doing this for awhile and answered questions I didn’t even know that I had. They we...
re easy to work with, very responsive whenever I had called or emailed with more questions, and checked in along the way to ensure we had the details in place prior to the final day. The venue also has an amazing view outside, which you can see from inside with the huge windows. Day of, they were there the entire time to ensure things were running smooth. 10/10 would recommend

he background. We also appreciated the unique design of the bathrooms! Samantha and Laura were incredible throughout the entire planning process, always responsive and attentive to any questions we had. We are both so happy we chose this space for our wedding.
We can’t say enough about Laura and Samatha. The venue is gorgeous and unique in the Birmingham area. You do not need much decoration because the venue is so beautiful and modern. ...
e booked the venue and also the day of coordination with them. They were amazing from the first day to the end. They recommended our amazing florist, the cake baker, and photographer. They kept everything on schedule and smooth. We could not recommend Avenue D more! It’s definitely a 10/10!

lanning! :D They are quick to reply to any emails, great at keeping notes, clearly highly experienced and professional, and I don't think we could have done it without them.
The venue is AMAZING! Yes, the bathrooms are super awesome!! But there's so much more to it and it's all beautiful! The vip suite upstairs for the bridal party to get ready in is stellar! The kitchen was well stocked with snacks and drinks and sodas, and even included a bottle of champagne! It is very spacious, has a shower in the bathroom, nice sitting area, surround sound speakers, and hooks for hanging dresses on the walls! There's also a kitchen in the main area! Super easy for use by a caterer.
The wedding went flawlessly - truly amazing! Everyone has told us that it was the most fun wedding they had ever been to. Even the security guard got on the dance floor!! I know that it wouldn't have gone so well without Laura and Samantha! They handled all the vendor communication as the wedding got closer, and they have a smooth execution of everything!!
I could NOT have asked for a more perfect venue and team!! I also have to mention Chuck though! He was great also and without him our rehearsal wouldn't have been possible!
10/10 pick this place!!!

evening was smooth and stress free. The added bonus of the outside courtyard can't be overstated. If you are looking for a venue in Birmingham, Avenue D should be on your list!
Just had my wedding at Avenue D, and I couldn't be happier! The size of this venue is just right, the owners (Laura & Chuck) are amazing and care for each event on a personal level...
, and the space is so beautiful. Their bridal suite on the 2nd floor gives you not only a fantastic spot to get ready all day, but my husband and I were able to use it as a quiet refuge to eat dinner before our reception began. We had a ceremony earlier in the day on the back patio, and it was an ideal spot for the intimate moment with immediate family. The reception was both indoor and outdoor, and - though we had approx. 175 people - it never once felt cramped! Tables, a 5-piece band, dancefloor, multiple bars, food stations, a photobooth, everything. This venue is also in a great location, too. It has tons of parking, is safe, and has a beautiful view of Sloss. Also, if any wedding planners are reading this - the owners are AWESOME about coordinating and communicating with your other vendors when needed. They make your job a whole lot easier, and they're very hands-on the day-of. I will always recommend this place to people in the future - for whatever type of event they're having! Also, have ya SEEN THE BATHROOMS?! Obsessed.
