Averills Flathead Lake Lodge

What an amazing experience we had! My husband and I, got married on the property, over Memorial Day weekend (2016). It was absolutely magical!!! I can't begin to tell you how incredible the entire staff was to us and our guests. We ended renting out almost the entire resort, except for a family celebrating their parents 29th wedding anniversary and a writer and their spouse. We added them into the fold of our group! It is a little slice of paradise! The cabins and rooms were wonderful and each one different from the next. It was so peaceful and you are surrounded by incredible views. With that being said they have strong WIFI all over the resort. I didn't even notice there was not one television on property. You won't miss it, I promise. They food is to die for! This is coming from a foodie with access to world famous chefs in Las Vegas. You will not be disappointed! The entire staff will go above and beyond, in making sure you have a great stay! They extended bar hours since we are all use to Vegas time, took us into town and back, let us borrow a van to take guest to get burgers the last day, they were so flexible with us and made us all feel like family. Our bartenders the whole weekend were amazing and made sure we were taken care of. The wranglers were great about going out riding even though there was some rain happening. They even had a truck come pick up one of the riders from the top of the trail when they couldn't ride anymore. There is so many different activities all over the property to do! One of my favorite things besides horse back riding, was being able to hang out by the bonfire at night with my family and friends. They even hand stuff to make smores!! We even went out on the boat to take in the gorgeous scenery. There is so much to do, that you almost can't get to it all! This was such an amazing trip and we will be back to do it again soon. If you have never been to Montana or to a working dude ranch, this is a place to visit! Even if you have been, you will still be impressed! Deb was so wonderful to work with and help me with all of the details and arrangements of guests! Planning a wedding from another state can be stressful, they helped take a lot of the burden off of me with helping with the lodging and daily events for guests. Thank you so much, to the entire staff and the Averill Family! We will be back!
