the uncertainty of anything if you're considering Avila!!! Isabel is an angel! Thorough, attentive, and knows what right look like...the venue, food, decor, customer service, all exquisite.....coordination with multiple vendors and Avila was seamless!!! this was indeed a dream come true...

and consultation; we were always treated with the most amazing service and unbelievable attention to detail and care. The venue itself is stunning! The way the club handles all the aspects of the wedding are second to none. And I cannot imagine any way in which they could have exceeded our expectations any more than they did. Thank you Isabel and Avila Country Club for easily creating the most memorable and happy day in our family's life!

t is AMAZING! I knew from the moment I met with her and saw the venue, that there was no more looking. The pictures don't do the venue justice. It really was a fairytale wedding We moved to NC early 2016, and there was no way I could coordinate our wedding alone without having chemistry with my event coordinator. Isabel kept me on track with simple reminders and spreadsheets. She was extremely professional, and made everything seamless! We only had two days in Tampa last summer to plan the wedding, including food tasting, and she was extremely accommodating. Every detail of our entire wedding was 5 star! The food was fantastic, and everyone is still raving about it! Our BIG day went off without a hitch, and Isabel made me feel at ease. I don't think the wedding could have gone any better. I was my dream come true. Thank you !!

ld even think of it,, Isabel was professional and as soon as you emailed her she got right back to you,,(she made you feel you were her only wedding for the year) she gave us her on undivided attention:)) the bridal suite was huge, lunch and wine served , made our daughter ( the bride) feel like a queen!! I am in the floral business and have seen many a venue, but let me tell you they are simply the best,, food amazing too!! I highly recommend Avlia for any wedding or party event!!! And the picture you can get on the balcony is amazing!! Isabel you and your team are The best I've ever experienced !!yiu guys rock on!!!

venue we saw, having visited 3 in Miami, and 7-8 in the Tampa/St. Pete area. We originally met, and signed the contract with Robin, a prior employee of Avila, who we adored and loved working with. We booked about one year before our wedding date. About 9 months in, we learned that Robin was no longer with the club, and the person taking over our wedding was Isabel. We met Isabel at our food tasting and there were several things that had to be ironed out at that time. Robin's approach was much more relaxed and easy going. We had to adjust to Isabel's more rigid, rule-oriented style. We quickly learned that she did things very differently than Robin, but this was not a good nor bad thing, just different. Once the wedding began to draw nearer, I became increasingly confident that Isabel's approach was more efficient in making sure things would run smoothly on the big day. She was incredibly punctual, professional, and thorough when helping us finalize all of our wedding details. The venue was beautiful, the food was delicious, the staff was extremely professional and hospitable (shout out to the awesome bar tenders!), and all of our guests raved about the wedding, and still are, almost a month later! On the day of, Isabel was my guardian angel. She was very calming and supportive, and made sure things were running smoothly. We didn't have an official wedding planner, and she really stepped in and filled that void, which is not in her job description, and I really appreciated that. On top of that, she was very sincere, and personable, and made us feel very at home on the big day. Wedding planning is extremely stressful and time consuming, so having a venue that is on your side is very important. You can tell that quality service is what Avila is about, and they do not cut corners or skimp on things; it is truly a world-class experience. The only person we interacted with that we did not care for was Brian, the food and beverage manager. Between our rehearsal and wedding, he managed to individually offend myself, both of my parents, my photographer, my maid of honor, two bridesmaids, and one of our groomsmen. He literally told one of my guests, "Because the bride decided not to pay extra for that," in response to her inquiry about tablecloths. He was very inappropriate and frankly I'm not sure how he passes muster to the GM, especially considering the standard of service we received from everyone else at Avila. Even WITH that experience, we are still leaving a 5 star review. That's how wonderful our wedding was! The space is gorgeous, our guests were comfortable and very well attended to. The food is amazing, certainly a notch above traditional wedding cuisine. (We had the buffet dinner and LOVED this option). The person in charge (Isabel) is a master of her craft, and certainly makes up for the shortcomings of her colleague Brian. The wait staff, bar tenders, even the valet drivers were all courteous and attentive. We had a beautiful wedding at Avila and would do it all over the same! We are grateful to have found such a beautiful place to hold the most important day of our lives! Thank you, Avila Country Club for a dream wedding, and a beautiful and memorable experience for ourselves, our families, and friends.

and beyond during the entire planning process from helping us find local vendors to making sure every detail was perfect right up until the end of our wedding. She was on top of everything which made the planning much easier. my husband and I loved the venue because of it vintage, romantic feel. The bridal suite is amazing for getting ready and tAking photos. Our families and friends had the most amazing time and have not stopped talking about our wedding. The food was delicious!! Much better than your average catering venue. Overall, we could not be happier with the way our wedding turned out. Thank you Isabel for everything. You were absolutely amazing thank you for making my dream wedding a reality.

he is so amazing!! I can’t say enough about how awesome she was throughout the whole planning process. She was always so helpful when we had questions about anything from tablecloths to signature drink ideas and she made sure everything ran smoothly with the venue on the day of. The club house has it’s own restaurant so they did the catering for the reception. Everyone LOVED their food! I had several guests with special dietary needs and the chef was very accommodating and made sure everyone was able to eat a delicious meal. There was a beautiful private room reserved for myself and my bridal party to get ready in the morning at the top of the club house that overlooked the golf course. We also had a waiter come up to take our lunch order in the afternoon which was great. I am so happy we got married at Avila! Literally, we had the wedding of our dreams! Thank you Isabel for everything — you are so awesome! :)

solutely perfect. Isabel and Brian especially could not have been more helpful and were the reason everything went seamlessly. The food was served promptly and hot and all the guests had clean plates. The built in bar in the clubhouse was a huge hit as well. The bridal suite was one of my favorite rooms and provided a beautiful view with lots of natural light to get ready in. I would highly recommend this venue to any bride who wants a perfect wedding venue!

lways had great ideas. She made sure we had what we wanted and needed to make our wedding ours. She was so patient with my questions and had great ideas. She recommended taking a guest picture outside while they were moving the chairs to the tables! It was such a great idea and our photographer loved it! She was very accommodating. The food was amazing! Granted we didn't eat it until 1 am but it was still good! And the trial for the food was so helpful. The place is gorgeous. We have gotten so many compliments on the people and the place! Each staff member was kind and thoughtful! You can't go wrong here!

ast detail. Isabel and the staff at Avila were wonderful! Very responsive to the tons of questions we asked. I had a few last minute issues come up and she was very accommodating. The food was AMAZING!!!! I even had a guest who is strict gluten free and her and the chef were able to accommodate her meal for her without any issues. Isabel worked extremely well with my planner to make sure my day went off without a hitch!

The Director of Sales and Special Events, Isabel Lomba, was very friendly, courteous, professional and helpful. She took us around the facility and went over some of the wedding packages. We were all immediately impressed with everything we saw and decided to look no further. From the moment we signed the contract to the wedding day, everything was perfect! We scheduled a tasting approximately 3 months before the wedding and the food was outstanding! From the appetizers, to the salad, to the main course, it was all delicious! The day of the wedding arrived and we were very excited to share my daughter’s special day with our family and friends. The entire staff at Avila was amazing, starting with Isabel but also Joey (food and beverage), Maria (head of wait staff), and the bartender!!!! Several of our guests came up to us to tell us how beautiful the venue was, how delicious the food was, and how wonderful the entire Avila staff was. Needless to say, we were extremely happy to hear this! If you are looking for a first class venue to hold a wedding (or other special event), you need to seriously consider Avila Golf and Country Club. You will not regret it!!!!!!

We were pleasantly surprised by the world-class service and attention to detail as well as the delicious food. Best of all, the club is located on a beautiful golf course and outdoor setting--our pictures are breathtaking!

id throw in a twist with my wedding in that we had an outside ceremony so it made some things harder to work with because it wasn't something they typically do. The little glitch we had is that times were not specified in the contract and the day before the wedding we had an issue, but it worked out. So make sure the details are written out in the contract. Robin was a huge help the day of my wedding, and before, and she did everything thing she could to help out - even little things I didn't catch (like adjust my train right before I walked down the aisle). Bob, the food manager, was also exceptional and he went above and beyond the food portion. I felt very comfortable with him and the food was amazing. He even helped us get a great photo opportunity after the ceremony. Thank Bob! :) Our wedding day was definitely memorable there and I thank them all for all they did!

wedding location. The staff is there to help you 100% with everything, are able to meet all of your needs (even with strange/last minute requests) and made my family, friends I feel like a part of the Avila family. The service, location and ambiance were fabulous.

perfect venue and then as soon as we met Mary Anne and the rest of the staff, we were hooked! Mary Anne was so warm, welcoming and accomodating...like family! She was easy very professional, approachable and didn't seem to mind my MANY emails and calls! Everything leading up to the wedding was so smooth, we knew the day of would be smooth as well. Everything was beautiful, the food was wonderful, the staff was so friendly! The day of the wedding, Kal kept checking in on the bridal/groom party to assure we were comfortable, well-fed and happy...and we were! Our wedding was magical and we believe Avila was very instrumental in making that happen!
