Avonley Homestead offers both indoor and outdoor event spaces for you to host your fairytale day. You can exchange vows on manicured lawns beneath the soft and gentle breeze of tall trees. After you say I do, you and your guests can retreat to the charming barn for a night of dining and dancing. The barn features exposed wood, high ceilings, and delicate fairy lights that bring a romantic atmosphere to the space. Suitable for 108 people, the barn is large and spacious and makes for a beautiful backdrop to your wedding day. It features an adjoining porch where guests can mingle and enjoy the fresh air of the countryside. You and your wedding parties are welcome to prepare for your special day in the Bride's Suite & Groom's Room. Avonley Homestead offers a range of packages for you to choose from. Packages include rehearsal time and can be either 1 day or 2 days, allowing extra time for setup if you desire. Rentals include tables, use of the get-ready suites, and on-site parking. To ensure your vision is brought perfectly to life, they also have an open vendor policy so you can choose who is a part of your wonderful day.

Avonley Homestead in Shelbyville, KY is an absolutely gorgeous venue. It was the perfect location for our rustic/boho themed wedding. From the day we initially toured Avonley till the end of our reception, we experienced nothing but professionalism and enthusiasm from Melissa and Diana in ensuring we had everything we needed and our wedding day ran smoothly. Diana responded in a timely manner to all our communications and is very helpful. The size of the venue was perfect for our 100 guests and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommend for those looking for a beautiful outdoor ceremony with reception to follow in the lovely barn on site. I've received so many compliments from our guests regarding how lovely and charming Avonley Homestead is. We are so happy we chose Avonley ❤️

I am so glad I found Avonley! Beautiful barn and outdoor space - perfect for my fall wedding. Melissa was quick to answer any questions I had and very flexible and accommodating. Every guest raved about how it was the best venue and wedding they had been to. It was also very affordable. I will add that while there is a ton of beautiful outdoor space and foliage, it is only a couple of blocks from downtown Shelbyville, making it very convenient. There are great AirBNBs and restaurants close by, as well as a hotel less than a 5 min drive. Everything was truly perfect!

Melissa at Avonley made our special day even more special!! The consultation was so professional and intentional. They helped with all those small details and helped us feel even more ready! They let us bring our cat Gunther and that made the day even better! I loved that they let us come back for different walk throughs! and cared so much for my vision, it felt like they cared just as much as I did ! Melissa was quick to respond and to take care of any issues during the rehearsal and day of! The photos are absolutely gorgeous & their place is STUNNING. I wish we could get married there over and over! Excited to take our one year anniversary photos outside the barn!

There aren’t enough words to say how great working with Melissa and Avonley was. It was the perfect venue for our fall wedding, but Melissa and her husband really go above and beyond to show their kindness and helpfulness. I’d recommend any married couple to check out Avonley Homestead for their weddings!
