Avonne, we adore you! I have struggled with putting this review into words because I truly feel speechless. You are just so wonderful and are so incredibly talented. Where do I eve...
n begin?! Your warmth, your genuine spirit, your kindness, your talent, your joy, and so much more is evident in your work and how you approach each day. Every time we have been with you, we feel like the most special people on the face of the earth. You are the ultimate hype woman, a true encourager, and an incredibly talented photographer.
Each time we have taken photos with you, it has felt like one of our favorites dates – whether we are in a magical park filled with florals tucked in the center of Charlotte, strolling the city streets, running on the beach after our wedding, or corralling Greats Aunts and Uncles for family photos on our wedding day. Over a year later, each member of our bridal party will randomly mention how much they adore you. You are a gem. I truly could go on and on.
When some factors in our wedding planning went slightly awry you were there and ready for whatever we needed. During wedding weekend, we felt completely at ease – all thanks to your stable presence. You even prayed with me on the morning of the wedding. I truly could go on and on. We adore you Avonne, all that you are and all that you stand for. It was a true joy and honor to have you photograph our wedding day and for you to be part of so many different seasons of our life. You are responsive, talented, feel like the most loyal best friend, and it was just an honor to watch you capture so many special moments. You are truly gifted by God and a joy to behold!
In short, BOOK AVONNE NOW!
I have combed google, instagram, theknot.com trying to find the right wedding photographer with no luck. My planner had recommended me to check out Avon...
né Photography. I immediately fell in love with her instagram page (@avonnephotography) due to the moody vibes and the fact that you can actually feel the emotions of each picture. From the initial facetime call, Avonne’s energy and passion for people and photography was evident. It really was like having a conversation with an old friend. Between her amazing personality and beautiful work, I booked her immediately.
On the day of my wedding, she was such a positive and calming presence to have around on a hectic day. She made my husband and I (who are very awkward with photos) feel like models, hyping us up in 38 degree Philadelphia weather. Even my parents and bridal party kept commenting on how amazing she is. We received our sneak peek less than 48 hours after the wedding; my husband and I were in tears, letting out an audible “gasp” as we scrolled through each beautiful photo. We cannot wait to see the rest of our gallery.
Please do not hesitate to book Avonné to capture you and your loved ones on one of most important days of your life. You only get one chance to do it right -- there is a reason why she is fully booked for 2022 and well into 2023.
A million times thank you, Avonné! Shawn and I are so blessed to have had the privilege to work with you and are so blown away by your personality, professionalism, and God-given talent. <3

table and confident from start to finish. She is a true professional — dedicated and committed —and has a way of connecting with you from the moment you meet her. Oh, and she’s just a blast to be around, too!
I’ve looked through our photos countless times over the past several weeks (since our wedding on Sept. 25, 2020), and every time I am moved to tears. Avonné captured our day perfectly. I am so grateful for this woman and the way she documented the most perfect day. With her documentary style and impeccable attention to detail, she has a way of telling your “story” better than you could ever imagine.
Thanks to Avonné, we have the most beautiful memories to look back on. Working with her was a dream, and I can’t wait to do it again for any of our family’s milestones. I can’t imagine working with anyone better. She is the BEST.

Avonne is incredible. She is a one-woman hype team and she will make you and your loved ones feel like the most beautiful, blessed people on earth. Thanks to her artistry, you all will look the part too.
My fiance and I work as directors of photography in the film industry so we knew that not any photographer was going to cut it for us when our wedding plans changed for the Nth time because of Covid. Stumbling upon Avonne's portfolio of work stopped us in our tracks. But MEETING her, virtually and in person, was something else entirely. We gained a family member, a friend, and we just can't wait to receive the rest of our photos!
At the end of the day, the photos are what will last you a lifetime. Make this investment with Avonne, TRUST ME!

gagement photos and wedding photos with her, and both times she blew us away. Not only is she unbelievably talented, but she is also an incredibly joyful person to be around. My husband who really doesn’t like taking photos is always comfortable around her. Avonné’s energy and personality never failed to makes us laugh and never made us feel fake or posed! Also, her professionalism with quick responses to your inquiries and e-mails was amazing. You will not be disappointed with the end result as her photos are a work of art. Would work with her over and over and cannot recommend Avonné Photography enough!

mportantly, comfortable to be ourselves both during our engagement photoshoot and throughout our wedding day.
Avonne captured perfectly the sweet candid moments, but also remembered to make us stop and pose for what she calls the "mom photos" (arranged and looking at the camera) because those pictures are special and important too! Her skillful artistry made us look like movie stars in a fairytale romance, and perfectly captured the deep emotion of our most important day.
Avonne, you were such a special part of our wedding day! Thank you for preserving some of the sweetest moments of our life. You have given us a wonderful gift! <3
