Jason came highly recommended by our venue (the Lord Thompson Manor) and I can absolutely see why. My husband and I planned on “shopping around” for officiants, but immediately after our first Zoom call with Jason that plan went out the window and we knew he was the one.
When it comes to the logistics, Jason is everything you’d want in an officiant. He’s thorough, organized, punctual, and incredibly responsive (he literally responded to emails from my husband and me within minutes on multiple occasions). And his attention to detail didn’t end after the ceremony. Not only did he deliver our signed marriage license to the town hall the day after our wedding, he also delivered our personal vows we accidentally left behind to our home address that same day.
Jason tailors the wedding specifically for the couple, collecting personal sentiments from each person to make it completely customized. He did a fantastic job of taking everything we wrote about each other and turning it into a cohesive, beautifully written ceremony. We wanted our ceremony to show how much we mean to each other but we also wanted to keep it relatively light-hearted and Jason achieved this balance perfectly.
On a more personal note, Jason has such a kind spirit and calming demeanor. Wedding planning can be a stressful time and having someone who was such a champion for us meant the world. He validated so many of our feelings and concerns. Whenever my husband and I felt overwhelmed during the wedding planning process, we would repeat a sentiment Jason shared with us during our first chat with him: the bride and groom aren’t supposed to be experts on planning a wedding and it’s completely normal to feel nervous because if you’re nervous it means that you care. His perspective on life and love is so inspiring.
As an added bonus, Jason wasn’t initially going to be available during our rehearsal (which was completely fine) because he had another wedding that same evening. But to our pleasant surprise, Jason let us know that he could in fact make both work. Having him there the night before to work through some of the little nuances (what order I should hug both my parents, which hand my husband should take, how far my sister should step up to collect my bouquet, where exactly we should stand, etc.) was SO helpful and made the ceremony the next day a breeze. The fact that he was so eager to make it work and show up for us was incredible.
I seriously cannot thank Jason enough for making this the best day of both of our lives!

My husband and I got married 6/28/24, and Jason was one of the best decisions we made in the wedding planning process. Wow, Jason was incredible to work with on our big day! He was extremely professional and responded very quickly to any questions. We knew we made the right choice by choosing Jason when everyone after the rehearsal kept commenting on how excellent of a job he did. Jason Longo is a top-notch officiant and wedding coach who we would greatly recommend for so many reasons. Jason not only took the time to talk to us over the phone in an initial meeting, but also met with us in person a few months prior to our wedding to get to know us better. He was able to seamlessly incorporate things he learned about our background, families, values, preferences, etc. into the ceremony and sent us a preliminary copy with all the details, including a special unity ceremony for our blended family (which he suggested), welcoming any changes or additions we wanted to make in order to make our wedding ceremony as perfect and as personal to us as possible. At our rehearsal, Jason patiently walked us through the entire process so we would be completely comfortable and at ease on our wedding day. All our guests commented on how elegant the ceremony was and how professional and charismatic our officiant was, which we couldn't have agreed with more. And shortly after our wedding day, Jason even sent us a copy of the script he wrote so we could save it with our other wedding mementos. Jason Longo is very caring and thoughtful, as well as highly knowledgeable and experienced, and we recommend him highly as both a wedding coach and officiant.

Jason was our officiant for our wedding at Saint Clements Castle. Jason was great to work with and made the process very easy and comfortable. Day of, he did a great job officiating and incorporating little tidbits of our life into his speech, making it feel like he knew us personally which we really appreciated! I can't say enough good things about Jason. He went out of his way throughout our whole process to make sure everything was done right and that we were comfortable. I cannot say enough good things about Jason! We hired Jason rather last minute as our original plans for an officiant had fallen through. He was extremely flexible and accommodating to our situation, and kindly agreed to officiate our wedding, as well as attend our rehearsal. In the short time we had to get to know each other, Jason was able to craft the perfect ceremony. He added personal touches to our vows that made our ceremony unique and extremely special to the two of us. I loved that we were able to have such a personalized ceremony, without the pressure of having to write our own vows.
Working with Jason was extremely easy. He made everything clear and streamlined for us, which was much appreciated. Look no further. Jason is THE man for this job. My wife and I had the best possible experience an officiant could offer on our wedding day.
Amidst the chaos of wedding planning, it is easy to get wrapped up in the reception, aesthetics and the experience you want to provide your guests. I hoped the reception would be beautiful and quite frankly I just wanted it to go smoothly. Jason will deliver a wonderful ceremony, which is all I hoped for in an officiant. But that's just scratching the surface.
What separates Jason from others is his ability to ENHANCE YOUR WEDDING DAY. This man is wise, professional, and compassionate. Every last minute stressor Jason would take the weight off of our shoulders by lending a helping hand or using his serene presence to calm us down.
Jason and I had a great conversation before I walked down the isle to start the ceremony. He shared some words of wisdom, rather than advice, and I will never forget what he told me. He curated a space for me to stay present and soak in this once in a lifetime experience. There is nothing more important than this.
Jason is a pro and goes out of his way to make sure everything will run smoothly. Just prior to the ceremony he asked to test our microphones. He was assured everything was set up correctly. Jason politely insisted on checking the equipment when my groomsman and I arrived at the podium. Sure enough there was a malfunction with the lapel mics the DJ provided. Before anyone else could walk down the isle they set up a back up microphone (which Jason also suggested we ask the DJ to bring) and made sure it was functioning correctly. This could have been one of those awkward moments which could throw me off, as I was pretty nervous to speak! Once again Jason came to the rescue.
Often times when I rate something Five Stars I feel like I am rounding up. This is a 100/100 score. Enhance your wedding day by hiring Jason to be your clutch and calming wedding day officiant.

From the first call when I contacted Jason to speak to him about being our wedding officiant for our wedding this year, he was so professional, calm and very quick on answering all of our questions. When choosing an officiant, we wanted someone who was easy to talk to and someone who truly understood what we wanted in our ceremony. Jason was that someone and he truly went above and beyond! His personal sentiment questionnaire gave my husband and I the opportunity to recount memories and experiences we had together and allowed Jason to know us at a deeper level. This translated perfectly into our wedding as he weaved those memories together for a unique ceremony made just for us! Jason Longo very well could have been MADE for my now Husband and I, OR he is just so versatile and accommodating that he fit perfectly our needs and wants in an officiant.
I could not have agreed more with his presentation, he was spot on with our "non-religious" ceremony, keeping it deep and meaningful without any religious reference. He caters it to you! The kind words he had for both my husband and myself nearly brought me to tears!
He was classy, and cool, funny and sweet, his demeanor (down to his suit and tie) was perfect for our wedding and honestly I would not change a singe thing!

Jason married my husband and I on 9/22/23 and he was just perfect! He matched our vibe completely and made us feel so at ease in what is such a stressful, yet happy time. Jason was always available for questions whether it was through email or text and helped us tremendously throughout the entire wedding process. Our wedding was not religious and we wanted to have an outside individual officiate for us. We looked on many websites and after interviewing several officiants for our wedding, Jason was the most relatable, personable, and well-spoken individual of the bunch. Not to mention, he has had extensive experience in front of an audience which was further reassuring for us. His calm, confident, and inviting presence made it easy for my husband and I to talk to him and he was extremely receptive to the kind of ceremony we were looking to have. He also offered a lot of support to both of us leading up to the wedding.
Jason learned my husband and I so well through long individual questionnaires and a few phone calls; his interpretation of our relationship during our ceremony was so beautiful you would have thought he had known us for years. He was articulate and well-paced - the entire ceremony was seamless, and we truly wouldn't have changed a single thing. We recommend Jason to anyone seeking an officiant.

Words cannot describe how thankful we are for Jason. He is so professional, easy to work with and extremely helpful. Any questions we had, he answered them right away, and he was always so happy to help us out. He was able to truly capture our love story by having a few phone conversations, and by filling out personal sentiments. He was so open to having meetings, over the phone or in person. I simply can’t say enough good things about Jason. He went above and beyond – he even popped by our rehearsal and helped us prepare even further, for the big day. He has a very calming presence that really set the tone for the entire wedding and he felt more like a friend than an officiant. We even had guests ask us how long we’ve known him. Jason’s work clearly speaks for itself – just about every vendor we worked with, that asked us who our officiant was (even the county clerk!), couldn’t say enough good things about him. Highly recommend Jason – he will make your event memorable and extra special.

Jason was an absolute pleasure to work with and made our ceremony so special. From the first moment my wife and I spoke with him during our first phone conversation, I knew we were in great hands. He made the whole planning process very easy. Jason customized our ceremony to make it unique to us. He has the ability to engage the whole room during the ceremony. Multiple guests from our wedding were in awe of the uniqueness of our ceremony and could not stop talking about it. Jason communicated with us at all times and ensured the process went smoothly. If you do not hire Jason for your wedding, you will regret it.
Jason was more than just an officiant he came a major support system for our wedding. He is easy to work with, responds quickly, efficient and quick on his toes. We were both unsure about our vows. I let Jason know the day before the wedding and my now wife the morning of what we wanted added to make our vows unique. Jason was an AMAZING officiant! I was recommended Jason from someone who attended one of his previous weddings, and from the first call, I knew he was a perfect fit for us. He really took the time to get to know what type of ceremony we were looking for, what we wanted and did not want, and even had a call with us the week of the wedding to go over any last-minute details. Jason performed our ceremony 10 days ago and it was magical. I called so many officiants and they were good but Jason was the only one who literally gave me goosebumps over the phone. He is calm, professional, fun, organized, and caring and made it so easy for us. We were worried that by hiring an officiant that we didn't know we would lose that personal touch but after meeting Jason and answering his questions and working with him, our ceremony sounded like it was done by someone who has known my husband and I our entire lives. He's the type of vendor that you can simply trust to do incredible work and that is so valuable during the stress of wedding planning. I worried about everything but I never worried about Jason and he knocked it out of the park. Not surprised at all, just incredibly and forever grateful.

Choosing Jason as our officiant was the best decision we made. My fiancé and I didn’t want to write our own vows but we still wanted the ceremony to be personal. Jason made that happened. Jason was absolutely amazing! I invited him to our rehearsal dinner and it was his birthday and was so happy that he took the time to meet with us and our wedding party prior to our big day. From the very first conversation over the phone with Jason me and Brandon(my now husband) felt at ease. We had ultimately decided to have a fairly simple ceremony doing our most personal vows privately due to our own anxieties about the day itself. Jason did an amazing job at weaving in our special memories about how we met as well as funny and heartfelt moments we shared with him prior. Not only did the day feel effortless but we agreed we were both extremely touched at how he connected with us and our guests the day of. Jason is great at his job, and I'll get into all of that, but above all we learned with our wedding how important it is to work with wonderful people. Jason is the most genuine, warm person and was truly a pleasure to chat with. My partner and I are not super emotional and Jason really got what was important to us and how to support us. Thankfully we didn't have any emergencies pop up but Jason even pulled aside our attendants to make sure they had his info in case they needed anything last minute.
Onto the job - I read it in other reviews but I didn't think it would be true for us, but both my husband and I got asked by separate guests how we know Jason because they assumed he was a close personal friend! He truly knows how to make a ceremony personal & special to you as a couple. I knew I had to book Jason when I read that in his other reviews. A good friend got married and assumed they would be partnering with their officiant on the ceremony only to be surprised the week before the wedding when the officiant reached out asking them to send over a copy of the script they want him to use. They were scrambling and flustered with everything else going on that week, and of course, they'd never written a wedding ceremony before so they wished they could have had guidance from their officiant. Jason goes above and beyond in that regard, providing you with the most beautiful ceremony you can imagine and he'll work with you to make sure it's perfect for you! Highly recommend having him attend your rehearsal as well. He gave us great cues for where to stand, when to do things, and how to manage our nerves! My venue coordinator was THRILLED that he was our officiant because she knew he would be on top of it and make sure we knew what we needed to do the next day.

Anything I write here is going to fall short of describing the amazing job that Jason did officiating our wedding. After we booked Jason, we had a few phone calls with him leading up to our wedding day, and he always brought such a calm demeanor to all of our meetings. He sent both myself and my husband wedding questionnaires to fill out before the wedding, and he used our answers to craft a perfectly unique and beautiful ceremony. He incorporated our answers (which included favorite stories, song lyrics, and memories) and used them to write our ceremony. It was so custom fit to our story as a couple that multiple guests asked us if Jason knew us personally! His attention to detail, responsiveness, and heart are unparalleled. There are not enough words to express the gratitude my wife (Ava) and I feel towards Jason for helping bring our dream wedding to life. It was an honor to have such a good man like him marry Ava and I. Throughout the ceremony and reception people would ask us if Jason was an old friend or a god parent or something? When we asked why, they would respond with, you all seem like good friends or he has known you for a long time. Many our guests also commented that our ceremony was "the best they have ever seen." I can't say enough about Jason and what he was able to do for my wedding day in the short amount of time he had to put it together. I had friends and family members ask me how long we'd been friends with him, just from his ceremony. We had 3 or 4 conversations with Jason on the phone and only met him the morning of the wedding. He gave us a ceremony that was EXACTLY what we both wanted and took it even further than we could have dreamed. I could go on for days at how happy I was with everything he did. Don't even think twice, he should be your 1st and only choice.

Jason literally made our wedding so incredible! EVERYONE at our wedding of 150 people told us how they felt that the ceremony was so personal and they felt like they were lucky to be in attendance and that the ceremony seemed very personal and made them feel as though they were very close to us which everyone there was. Some of my other vendors left me rather disappointed but Jason really went above and beyond and made our wedding day feel so intimate and personal and special. If you are looking for an officiant like we were, STOP! You found him!! I reached out to Jason after reading these reviews on the Knot and Wedding Wire, and I wondered if he could live up to everything people wrote about him. And he did, plus so much more!!
From our first phone call with him, which was the next day after contacting him for the first time, we knew he was the right fit for us. He worked with us to come up with the perfect unique ceremony, as we were doing a vow renewal after rescheduling our reception 3 times due to COVID.
About 15 min before the ceremony, I realized I had left our vow books at the hotel. And the first thing Jason offered to do was to drive to the hotel (which was 20 min from our venue) to get them. Now that is the type of person you need on your wedding day!! We ended up getting them from someone who was at the hotel, but the fact that he offered to do that meant so much to me.
And our ceremony couldn't have been more perfect. Jason spoke so well and added in little bits of humor when they were needed. We had so many people compliment us on Jason, we couldn't be more happy with everything!
So seriously, if you are looking for an officiant Jason is the right guy for you!! I would recommend him to any couple!

I reached out to Jason after reading his reviews through Wedding Wire. After a very pleasant and personable ZOOM meeting between myself, fiancé, and him, there was no question about us wanting to choose him to marry us. I have to say with the stress of planning the wedding having Jason made this portion relaxing and calming. He really spends time to listen and provide you with exactly what you want. If you don't know what it is you want, he helps provide direction to help figure that out. Not only was his professionalism, personality, and attention to detail through the who process great...the ceremony itself was AMAZING!! I received an enormous number of compliments on the ceremony and how fabulous of a job he did. My cousin who has been DJ'ing weddings for at least 15+ years came up to be and said that this was by far one of the best ceremonies he has ever been too and highly complimented the amazing job Jason did. Of course, my fiancé (now husband) and I were so nervous that Jason really used our personalities to play of each other and help make the moment memorable. For us we wanted to make sure that people were not bored with the ceremony. With the amount of laughter between my husband and myself and our guests we had no doubts whatsoever while we were up there about our guests being bored. I truly cannot recommend Jason enough if you are looking for an amazing ceremony! My brother and his fiancé are planning on reaching out for him to do their wedding too because they loved the job he did so much! From bride and groom to bride and groom you will not be sorry going with Jason as your officiant!
