ecause I trust the florist to be an expert. I wanted texture and florals to foot a moody jewel tone palette. On the first call, the one thing I had said was that I didn’t like roses. After getting the quote and the list of florals to be used, I saw there were red roses listed. I reiterated to them that I don’t really like roses but if it was necessary, a few roses would be ok to add the pops of burgundy. To my dismay, there were roses everywhere. I felt like they were the star of the show. I was disappointed when the idea of giving creative freedom to a florist and it fell a little flat with uniqueness. Again, no one can say everything wasn’t beautiful. Next time I would just be more forceful and say absolutely no roses.

that I was getting married until Alyssa personally delivered my wedding bouquet to me as I was in hair and makeup. Seeing my exceptionally beautifully crafted bouquet made everything come to life. Once I got to the venue, again I was struck in awe at the beautiful centerpieces, flower petals, chair adornments and customary arch sprays. They were able to create my exact vision of how I wanted my wedding florals to look, and I couldn't be more thankful we chose them as our Florist!

To save on money, we reused the bridesmaid bouquets as centerpieces, which worked out great. I told Awesome Blossom of this intention, so they made a note to cut the bouquets slightly shorter so that they would work as centerpieces but still be long enough for the bridesmaids. The clear cylinder vases that the bouquets come in were also great and we were able to use those as the vase centerpieces. We also ended up reusing the two arch pieces on our sweetheart table and our Photo Booth arch and that also worked great! Thank you, Awesome Blossom! We'd highly recommend to anyone who is having a Lake Tahoe area wedding.

t has a way of adding a soft touch to her florals that doesnt overwhelm the rest of the event or wedding. A good florist can transform a space all while making it part of the space. I have to assume this is from the hours she spends with her couples to get what they need. I have seen Bridget go from working from home to now having an busy shop in Reno and the quality is still there. Spending days making sure her flowers are ready, delivered and fully set up each time. Her positivity during these moments of stress is refreshing. So... You want amazing flowers and are still looking... stop. This is your shop. Not only will you get quality but you will get professionalism that is sometimes missed.

ummer look (my wedding color was orange and outside). I was really hooked on wanting a certain type of flower and color, but it was not in season. I understand that it was probably difficult to match exactly what I wanted from my description. I specifically said no roses, and I got light pink roses instead of an alternative bright orange or bright pink flower that was the color I wanted. HOWEVER, all said and done, I was very happy with my bouquet and my table flowers

rst consultation, Bridget did a magnificent job explaining things to me who was totally clueless and sending us a quote extremely quickly. She worked with us on timeline and narrowing the focus to help the budget. She always responded timely and with care. Loved working with her! As the day approached, she helped further with planning and had another full meeting to confirm things were correct so there were no misconceptions before ordering. When the day finally came, we had some issues with wind and other unexpected things, but she thought quickly on her feet and used some of the arrangements that were meant for the chuppah (arch) to be used elsewhere. It could not have been more perfect and I truly appreciate her willingness to be flexible when things did not go as planned. She also brought all of my favorite colors and flowers into the arrangements and they were gorgeous!
