I wish I could give negative stars. The Venue we are using is an all inclusive so when we added the floral centerpieces to our package we were told Dana would be our contact. Our very first meeting at the floral shop was with her assistant Magg...
ie, not even with Dana as she was out of town. My fiance & I were never told what our package included and the assistant only took notes, no suggestions given or feedback on flower choices and vase. A week after I received an email from Dana breaking down the extra cost for what we had chosen and next to every item chosen said "UPGRADE Add $25" so I asked for clarification, never got it. After 2 weeks of no response to my floral order or a price estimate I asked Dana for a face to face appointment. Dana said yes, then last minute repeatedly told me how she kept it a secret from her husband of our meeting and needed me to adjust my time for her to accommodate her "kids activities...oopps". I told my venue how unhappy we were and that I did not want to work with her anymore due to lack of professionalism. Once I told Dana we would not be moving forward with her as our florist and she again reminded me of her child care arrangements and didn't even ask what it was that made me feel this way.
I know everyone has different experiences but I never met Dana face to face, she had no regard for our wedding, and only proved how unprofessional and untrustworthy she was. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND to anyone. Dana was the only stressful part of our wedding planning and I am glad I fired her.
