Working with Georgia at AWS was one of the most pleasant experiences I had throughout my wedding planning. AWS created the ceremony decor, the centerpieces, the boutonnière and the bridal bouquet for my styled shoot. I had a vague idea of what type of flowers I wanted to use however, after speaking with Georgia and seeing the finished product, she brought my ideas to life! I knew I wanted to incorporate red, turquoise and golden yellow colors in a way in which the floral arrangements were bold and different than any magazine has ever seen. My wedding planner recommended Georgia with AWS Floral Design to design my wedding day flower arrangements. All of my arrangements were beautifully designed and I loved them! There were a couple of changes that I needed to make due to a wedding color change, and wedding party changes. Georgia met with me to talk about changes and was very pleasant and accommodating. How can I express how amazing Georgia is? I emailed her not even sure if she could work with my budget and she called me back right away. We had a great conversation and she was able to work out a plan that fit my budget. I ended up using all fake flowers, but they really did feel real! I was skeptical but positive, and she delivered. I got so many compliments on my flowers and you couldn't even tell they were fake. She exceeded all of my expectations and was just a joy to talk to!

I meet with Georgia about a month ago giving her my wedding dream wishes for flowers. First she didn't tell me I would be meeting at her home. I told her I was on a strict budget for flowers that I only needed centerpieces and chapel decorations, she however didn't like the fact that it would lower the price with me or purchasing bridal boutique and decided to not work with me. My original quote was 1,800.00 for rentals! I think this was obscure because I would return the centerpieces back to her. My bridal budget wasn't suitable for her. I was able to find someone to work with my budget.

Georgia was amazing and supportive throughout the whole creating and color selection process. She was always professional and provided the best arrangements for our money. She made our wedding venue so BEAUTIFUL!!

I was so excited to find A Wedding in Silk for my wedding in September because I needed all silk flowers (husband has allergies), and Georgia was so accommodating! It only took 1 meeting where I was able to see her work and she understood my vision perfectly! Using silk flowers (though she also works with real flowers) also made it easy to have whatever flowers I wanted, whether or not the real ones were actually in season. And when we decided we needed real rose petals she graciously referred me to an online dealer to save me money! It was super easy to make a few last minute changes. Wedding day was perfect because Georgia knew exactly what decorations and flowers were supposed to go where, so I didn't have to oversee it because I knew she would do it the way I would've done it! Thank you AWS for making our special day so beautiful!

We used AWS Floral for our destination wedding in Montego Bay, Jamaica. As a bride, planning your wedding can be extremely stressful (especially when you are marrying abroad). You want everything to be perfect and you search high and low to find the BEST vendor with reasonable pricing for your budget. When I found Georgia, I found all of that and so much more!!! From our initial conversation, my nerves and anxiety were immediately put to rest. She was easy to talk to, and listened to my wants/needs and went above and beyond to accommodate them. Our flowers (bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages) were absolutely beautiful. We used them in our ceremony in Jamaica and again at our Stateside reception last month. Georgia is phenomenal and her services are top notch. I am truly thankful that I found her and I would recommend her 1000x over!!!

Georgia was amazing throughout the whole process. She had great ideas and held my hand during the whole process. When our budget changed she accommodated and made sure that it was still everything I wanted. We had both real and silk flowers and no one could tell the difference. We did have a small issue with our cake, the bakery put some piping around the edge I did not ask for. When Georgia showed up, she fixed the cake before adding the flowers and it was stunning. She supplied us with ribbon to hang a chandelier we rented. Everything we amazing. I still have a bunch of silk flowers and everyone thinks they are fresh. Even months later I'm getting so many compliments. I will use her for all of my future floral needs.

AWS is phenomenal!!! Georgia is a Gem...My florals were gorgeous and really made our pictures stand out!!! My hubby & I renewed our vows in Ochos Rios Jamaica on April 6, 2016 (20 years). I did not want to spend almost 10k on florals there so I enlisted Georgia to make all my florals and they were transported by my planner Beyond the Diamond, N. Seniorae Ventura. When I tell you everything was absolutely beautiful to the point Sandals Ochi Resort asked my husband and I to sign a release so they could use our pictures...that's just how fabulous everything looked. Our flowers were stunning...Thank-you Georgia...You are the Best!!!

We used AWS or Georgia Griffin for our wedding. She was so pleasant and just full of ideas that made both me and my fiance' very comfortable and confident about her services. She gets so excited when you discuss details with her and she really looks forward to your big day with you. Our bouquets and all the flowers were so beautiful! Everything looked even better than I had imagined. She actually went over and beyond for our wedding. Someone at the venue must have accidentally bumped the wedding cake and Georgia fixed it for us. She took the rhinestone banding off, cleaning it, smoothed the icing and placed the banding back on the cake. How amazing is that?! We just cannot thank her enough for all the she did to help make our wedding great! Thank you Georgia!!

We had some major issues with this florist. This is such a shame because all of our other venues were amazing and went above and beyond with their service. This florist just fell short. Be sure to take your own notes during meetings. Over half of the stuff we talked about in meetings never happened. Great ideas- doesn't follow through and extremely poor execution. My bridesmaids had to re-drape the ceremony site after Georgia did it because it was not up to par. In the contract, it states that she can decide to not show up with rentals if she deems appropriate and you still have to pay. If we had looked closer, we would never have used her as a florist. This was our fault and it was a mistake that we will never make again. Think twice before her and make sure to double check the details. On the upside, my bridal bouquet was beautiful. But, We were promised an arch and got the equivalent of two potted plants instead. Very disappointed. Would not recommend again to anyone. Don't waste your money. We had to learn the hard way.

Georgia was a pleasure to work with. She was flexible on price and offered guidance and recommendations which helped make my bouquets perfect. She recreated my favorite bouquet from Pinterest and it turned out beautifully. I would definitely recommend her to anyone!

Ms. Georgia is AMAZING. I felt totally comfortable when I had my first appointment with her and I knew by the end if the consultation that she would be my florist. My bouquet was beautiful. I went with artificial flowers and I'm glad I did or I wouldn't have been able to have the bouquet I really wanted. The flowers were set up beautifully in my bridal suite when I got there and I couldn't have been happier. Even a year later my flowers haven't faded or changed colors. They still look as beautiful as they did on my wedding day. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who needs flowers.

I wanted to let everyone know just how wonderful everything turned out in my wedding! All of my flowers were gorgeous! I wasn't surprised though... I have known Georgia for many years and she has made beautiful bouquets and arrangements for many people I know. I first met her when she created so many amazing items for one of my co-workers. We used AWS, Georgia Griffin, for our wedding florist in September. The flowers so were beautiful and I was relieved. Even though Georgia is awesome, I am a worry wart to say the least. I shouldn't have worried since all the pictures she showed me were gorgeous and I had complete confidence in her. I am picky and she made everything with all the details that I was looking for in my bouquet and all the decor. I love orchids and she it happen for me! Everything turned out amazing and I would highly recommend this florist!!

I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to Georgia and her staff who made my wedding absolutely gorgeous! She was such a sweetheart and I knew that she would take care of everything. She was so creative and came up with amazing designs that I could afford too! I had beautiful flowers in my bouquet and my bridesmaids loved their bouquets too! WOW! I will post pictures as soon as I have time. The table decor was just stunning and we had an amazing arch with flowers and vines that I get to keep! I also used a few artificial flowers that Georgia is going to make into an arrangement for my new house. I will be recommending her to two of my coworkers who have recently gotten engaged, ;) As I said before, Gorgeous!! I would highly recommend AWS to anyone who is searching for a florist!

Not happy at all. Showed up late (and didn't call to let us know), cake wasn't decorated, bouquets and lanterns and arbor were all wrong, corsages all fell apart within minutes. Extremely displeased with the service and not worth the price at all. Would never feel right recommending her to anyone.

We used AWS (Georgia Griffin) earlier in the year and our flowers turned out absolutely gorgeous! Georgia is very creative and really helped us bring our vision to life. I am quite picky about flowers and she was able to find my favorite Orchids and incorporate into the overall design I wanted. We had our wedding at the Ritz Carlton in Atlanta and I wanted the flowers to be perfect! Just as I had wanted and hoped for them to be, Georgia and her staff made it happen!! She is already planning on designing all the flowers for my best friends wedding next Spring! I cannot wait to see it! I would highly recommend AWS to all my family and friends!

Upon meeting Georgia I was very excited. She was very nice and easy to work with and even beat out the price quote I had from another florist. She was very slow to respond to emails (almost a week or more sometimes). I had NUMEROUS changes to my contract due to loosing members of the bridal party but after meeting with Georgia for the final payment we had everything straightened out and I just knew Georgia was going to do an amazing job. She had her cousin's wedding the same day as mine so I feel like she put more effort into her cousin's wedding and totally messed mine up. The flowers were supposed to be delivered at 1pm but didn't show up until after 2pm. Georgia didn't even call us to say they were running late. We had to call twice and leave voicemails. When we called the second time she said "yes I know I got your voicemail" This caused a huge problem because we missed out on the inital pictures with the flowers and we were trying to get dressed and feel behind schedule. The bouquet I picked out was mainly purple but the one that showed up had very little purple and looked NOTHING like the picture I gave her. We were told that the lillies were dead so they had to substitute something else. The toss boquet was left out and the charms with my grandmothers pictures that were supposed to be attached to my bouquet weren't there. My planner had to call Georgia several times to have her bring those charms to me. She showed up at 5pm with the charms and interrupted my photographer from taking pictures to try to tie them onto my boquet. I have emailed Georgia expressing my disappointment and she ignored my emails. When she finally did respond she said she did no wrong and that the contract says she can substitue other flowers. I told her my issue was that the boquet wasn't even purple and that if she wants to substitute flowers to at least make it look similar to the picture I gave her! I felt like she should give me some money back since she was over hour late, left off the toss bouquet which was included in the contract, the flowers were dead and not what I ordered but she has ignored my emails. She blames the flowers being dead on me but they were wilted upon delivery and the person who delivered them even apologized for it. We had to break off several dead flowers before the ceremony even started. The bridesmaids bouquets looked wonderful but mine was much smaller than theirs and nothing like what I wanted. I'm shocked at the service considering Georgia was so nice and I really knew she was going to do an amazing job. She over books herself and I paid the price in this case. I'd love to see how her cousin's wedding turned out! Be careful or stick to silk flowers if your going to use Georgia

I got married in September, so my choices for flowers were limited. After sending Georgia a few ideas I had, she was able to recommend a bouquet that fit my theme and colors. The garden roses turned out absolutely beautiful. We met Georgia and she was so kind and inquisitive, I could tell that she understood my request from the beginning. On the wedding day when the bouquets arrived, my whole wedding party were amazed at the beauty of the arrangements. My bouquet was even more beautiful thank I could have ever imagined. I am sure it will look beautiful in pictures and I will surely be kept as a keepsake. I would recommend Georgia year round! Her knowledge and kindness will make you feel at ease from the beginning and complement your special day!

I had a very unique request on florals that I have not seen many brides use, which was daffodils. The cost for real daffodils with tulips was unbelievable! Plus the amount of water needed to keep them fresh throughout the entire ceremony concerned me even more! Georgia made all my dream come true plus more!! The floral arrangements she put together were absolutely stunning and they will never lose that look because with them being real silk flowers, they will never wilt or die! I would highly recommend you request her for your floral arrangements!! Not only will you always have those memories of how gorgeous your flowers will always look but you will also have your dream fullfilled on any special requests! For what we requested the cost was unbelievable!

My husband and I could not agree on flowers. I wanted silk, so that I could keep them, and he was quite the skeptic. When we arrived, Georgia sat him down with a fresh flower bouquet and a silk flower bouquet, and asked him which were which. At that moment, he was sold. All of the wedding guests were also shocked to find out they were not fresh flowers. Georgia Griffin is fantastic to work with. She was able to take my mental image of my dream wedding flowers, and provide me with a product that fulfilled my every wish. I could not have asked for personalized service and attention. She worked with me as I bounced back and forth between details, before I reached my final decision. I would definitely recommend A Wedding in Silk, and would not think twice about calling her in the event that I need flower arrangements again. Her flowers are absolutely spectacular.

Georgia Griffin was my florist for my wedding. When I met her, she was very nice and personable. She is very passionate about flowers and loves what she does. My flowers were great, however, I was not able to get some of the flowers I asked for. They unfortunately had died and she was not able to put these particular flowers in my bouquet. However, she did add additional flowers in the bouquet to make up for it which i appreciate. I would recommend Georgia to anyone. She is very knowledgeable about flowers

I used A Wedding In Silk as our florist. I did love the new silk flowers, but I wanted all fresh. Everything was just gorgeous! I was worried about the Hydrangea and how they would hold up in the heat, but they were perfect. We took several pictures outside before the wedding and all of the flowers still looked great when we walked down the aisle. I am really picky and I was very specific about the look I wanted to create. Georgia is very creative and came up with so many ways to get the look I wanted and not spend a crazy amount of money on fresh flowers. I love flowers, but it is hard to spend money on something that will be gone in just a few days. I know they will look amazing in my pictures forever though! Thanks to Georgia and her staff for helping me have the most amazing wedding day ever! Even my husband commented on the flowers and he thought everything look great!! I felt proud of all my choices and our event was just as I wanted it to be! I have already referred Georgia to several friends and co workers! We highly recommend A Wedding In Silk to everyone!

My wedding was Sept 18th and it was just fantastic! Georgia the owner/florist was just awesome!. I was so hard to deal with and she took the time to listen to all my concerns. She even went above and beyond to take my late night phone calls just days before the wedding. My bouquet was Totally Awesome! And all my reception decor just knocked my socks off. Even my guests commented on how fabulous everything looked. I would definitely recommend A Wedding in Silk to any and everyone!

I had my ups and downs with "A Wedding in SilK". However, at the end of the day the flowers were beautiful. I think that the communication could have been better but overall it was a descent experience.

Unprofessional, forgetful, nickel and dimes you, unpleasant to work with (nice to your face, nasty by email), didn't follow through with what we agreed upon and then claimed rentals were destroyed and didn't returnt the deposit. Very dissapointing. Chose her if you would like wet spraypainted flowers on your wedding day...

First let me say, the owner/florist is very nice. Just knowing that I had to have real flowers at my wedding, I was pleasantly surprised at how real these flowers looked and felt. And the best part is that you get to keep them and they don't die. Now for the bad part. The florist showed up close to an hour late to set up everything for the wedding and she was gone before it ever started leaving me, the bride, trying to figure out which bouttoniere which to each person. After the wedding, I learned that the groom and the groomsmen ended up setting up the centerpieces in the reception hall, because she was late and needed to leave. Needless to say, the flowers were not worth the added stress on my wedding day. I would not recommend A Wedding in Silk to any of my friends.
