ridal party, family, and guests. About 80 of our 130 guests were staying at the hotel and relied on the transportation service to and from the venue.
Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing.
We provided Axis with a detailed itinerary and expected the buses to arrive at the hotel promptly at 3:00 PM. Both buses arrived 10–15 minutes late. When the first bus finally arrived, my mother asked the driver if he was there for our wedding, and he rudely responded, “I don’t know, I guess I’m going to some winery,” without even looking up from his phone. I also called the second driver for an ETA and was told “around 3:10” in a tone that made it seem like I was inconveniencing her.
We could have overlooked the late arrival if the rest of the evening had gone smoothly, but it did not.
At the end of the event at 11:00 PM, the buses were nowhere to be found despite being contracted — and paid for — to remain onsite for the entire evening. I personally walked around the venue searching for them and eventually called Axis in a panic. To make matters worse, the operator initially could not even locate our reservation. After being placed on hold for about 10 minutes, the buses finally arrived around 11:10 PM.
When we asked where they had been and why they were not ready at 11:00 PM as scheduled, we received no explanation. Guests began lining up to board, and one of the drivers shut the bus door on us without saying a word.
When I followed up with Axis afterward, Jaime confirmed that the vehicles should have been onsite and ready to go at least 15 minutes prior to each pickup time. By that standard, the buses should have been ready by 2:45 PM at the hotel and 10:45 PM at the venue — which they clearly were not.
What was most frustrating, however, was learning after the fact that Axis subcontracts any vehicle larger than 14 passengers to outside companies. This was never disclosed to us during the booking process. We specifically chose to work with Axis based on their reputation and communication, only to later discover that the two buses causing all of the issues were actually operated by Premier Coach out of NH.
That detail feels incredibly misleading. When you sign a contract with a company for your wedding transportation, you expect that company to actually be providing the service — especially for such an important event. Had we known beforehand that our transportation would be outsourced to another company we had never heard of, researched, or approved, we would have made a different decision entirely.
Ironically, the only transportation service that went smoothly all night was the 14-passenger van that was actually operated by Axis. That driver was professional, punctual, and courteous from start to finish.
To sum it all up:
• Both buses arrived 10–15 minutes late to the hotel pickup.
• The drivers were rude and unprofessional.
• The drivers appeared unaware of the event details.
• The buses were not onsite and ready for the return trip as contracted.
• Axis subcontracted the larger vehicles without disclosing it upfront.
• The only true Axis-operated vehicle provided excellent service.
Overall, all of this was an added unnecessary stress to our wedding day and was incredibly disappointing considering the amount we paid for the service.

After carefully reviewing the itinerary, dispatch notes, call logs, and GPS records, it does appear there was a misunderstanding regarding the staggered timing of the two larger vehicles. The itinerary communication we received indicated that the bridal party would depart first just after 3:00 PM, with the groomsmen boarding afterward around 3:10–3:15 PM. One vehicle was staged at the hotel around 3:00 PM, while the second vehicle operated according to those staggered instructions. However, we absolutely understand that from the client and guest perspective, the transportation should have felt fully coordinated and seamless throughout the evening.
We also regret that some of the driver interactions did not reflect the polished and hospitality-focused level of service we strive to provide for every wedding and special event. Regardless of scheduling logistics, every guest should feel confident, welcomed, and well taken care of.
Regarding the return transportation, the vehicles remained nearby and available throughout the evening, though not positioned directly in front of the venue for the duration of the event. In hindsight, clearer communication regarding staging and pickup procedures would have greatly improved the guest experience, and we recognize that.
Following our review of the concerns raised, we provided a $500 partial refund as a gesture of goodwill because we genuinely recognized your disappointment with portions of the experience.
We do sincerely appreciate your kind comments regarding the 14-passenger vehicle and chauffeur. That level of professionalism, punctuality, and service is what we work hard to consistently deliver for every client.
Wedding transportation involves many moving parts, timelines, and venue logistics, and while much of the evening operated according to the itinerary provided, we acknowledge there were aspects of communication and coordination that could have been handled better. Feedback like yours is taken seriously and helps us continue improving our service for future couples.

We rented a 55-person coach and a 39-person minibus through Axis Transportation. The drivers were prompt and friendly and the buses were clean. The sales staff weren’t pushy about ...
getting us to sign a contract and were very accommodating when we wanted to make changes or add notes to our trip. A system error overcharged us, but they were apologetic and quickly corrected the issue. During the planning process, I occasionally had to follow-up a few times before getting a reply, so email responsiveness left a little to be desired, but overall a great experience.

great job relaying the options, responding quickly and being accessible. Other companies in the area I contacted for price comparison fell short on service and price. I’m so happy we went with Axis! It makes a difference when it’s something you don’t have to worry about, just rely on them and they’ll show up during the times you requested. several smaller vans as opposed to a large shuttle bus and was having trouble making that work. Enter Axis. I was nervous about them because they didn’t have any reviews on the typical wedding websites. However, they had amazing reviews on other major sites, so I decided to give them a call. In addition to having fantastic customer service, their rates were fantastic. From the start to finish, I knew my transportation would run smoothly - and that was saying a lot because I was a nervous bride. And I was right! Definitely check them out!!
