There isn’t enough space to describe how perfect my experience with Axle Color Studio was. First, the convenience of having hair/makeup in one place was incredible. Each hair and m...
akeup artist took the time to listen and cater to the unique styles and visions of everyone in the wedding party. From scheduling my trials, through the day of the wedding, Jackie always communicated efficiently and professionally. Everyone at Axle was patient and made my wedding day fun and stress-free. We felt pampered in the studio in the private bridal ready room, and our hair/makeup lasted all day/night! Thank you Jackie, Jacquelyn, Amy, Kristen, and Ashton for making us feel beautiful, inside and out! I would highly recommend booking them for any event. Their value is unmatched, and they are wonderful people that make you feel like family.
The Axle team came onsite for my Fall 2022 wedding at Pierce Farm, and I could not be happier with the experience. From the trial to the wedding, they cared for me and made me feel...
special at every step of the process.
I loved how my wedding hair and makeup came, and so did the rest of my bridal party. These looks lasted all night through plenty of dancing. The team knows how to create looks that are stunning for weddings and come through beautifully in pictures. They listened to what I wanted and were honest in sharing their expertise to help me create a perfect look better than I envisioned for myself. They got everyone ready within the allotted time without any rushing.
Also, leading up to the wedding, I had a hair mishap at another salon (NOT Axle) that Axle helped fix. At the time, I was going to a different salon because I sadly do not live to close Axle anymore. And right before my bridal shower, I got a full foil that did not come the way I liked. When I emailed Jackie with pictures, she immediately got back to me (during non-business hours) to let me know not to worry and that they would help.
Within a week, I had a hair appointment to get a color correction, AND they accommodated me with another appointment right before my wedding for touch-ups. My hair color came PERFECT. This went above and beyond because I know this is a busy time to get color appointments with the holidays approaching.
I could not recommend working with Axle enough. They are insanely talented with hair and makeup, and the customer experience is stellar.
Jackie and her team did makeup for me and my bridal party. Jackie was amazing to work with and all of the makeup artists were such a nice presence on my wedding day! Majority of my...
wedding party doesn’t wear a lot of makeup and they did such a great job giving everyone a natural look. Everyone loved their makeup, and a lot of people gave compliments throughout the day & asked who the makeup artist was. I’d highly recommend Jackie to any bride looking for a makeup artist for their wedding. Thank you Jackie & team for sharing your talents with us and making us all look and feel so beautiful!
Jackie is AMAZING!! After seeing some of her work I knew she was the right girl for me! I found Axle Color Studio on The Knot and was excited when I read all of the good reviews. I...
had one makeup trial with her at the salon a few months before my wedding, which was so fun! I had never been to Axle before . The staff was friendly and the salon was super cute (and clean). Jackie listened to exactly what I wanted, I felt very comfortable with her and trusted her immediately. Throughout this entire wedding planning process (during Covid at that) Jackie stayed in touch with me and quickly answered any questions I had. On the day of our wedding, she was punctual in getting to our venue (with another artist who was just as wonderful), and adapted quickly to the somewhat small space we had to setup. She made getting ready the morning of such a great experience! Jackie is professional and fun to be around. She truly went above and beyond in making sure we looked and felt our very best! I will be referring her to everyone I know looking for a makeup artist and look forward to having any excuse to get my makeup done by her again!
I had Jackie for makeup and Shannon for hair on COVID-19 style wedding day (at my mother's home, in the backyard, family only) and they were nothing but amazing! I had been corresp...
onding with Jackie since summer of 2019; I had a trial with both her and Shannon and booked them immediately. Jackie is very knowledgeable with makeup and does a spectacular job - I felt more beautiful than I have ever been. Not only is she great at what she does, she is so friendly and professional, and very responsive via email, which was very important as many things had changed since the beginning of COVID-19 until my wedding on 6/27. I had to email her many times and she was nothing but understanding and reassuring throughout it all. When she and Shannon arrived on my wedding day, they were set up in no time and executed everyone's hair and makeup perfectly and on schedule! They are personable and fun to chat with while getting ready, and always listen to what you have to say about the look you're going for. I bought my own hair extensions, but did not have them for my trial, so Shannon used them on the day of without having seen them - they blended in perfectly and she did a great job at styling them. I would highly recommend Jackie and the team at Axle Color Studio, you will not be disappointed!
I hired Jackie for my wedding day makeup, and I am so glad that I did! She did an absolutely wonderful job -- I do not typically wear makeup day-to-day, but she made me feel comfor...
table finding a look that was bridal without being over the top. The makeup held all night and looked great in photos! Jackie came to our hotel to do my makeup, and was such a pleasure to work with all day!

f my questions quickly and made me feel like I had nothing to worry about with regards to hair/makeup. All of my bridesmaids loved their hair and makeup and everyone looked beautiful. Jackie and her team were on time, flexible and truly a pleasure to have apart of my wedding day. I would recommend them again and again!

eautiful. Jackie, Lauren + team did the hair and makeup for me +11 others the morning of my wedding and they did such a beautiful job with everything. Everyone was so happy with how their hair and makeup came out- everyone looked stunning! It was so important for me to have a great hair/makeup team for my wedding and these two were just that. I had done quite a few trials but once I completed my trials with Axle it was easy for me to decide they were the team to go with. Thank you for making me feel so beautiful and comfortable on my wedding day!
I had Jackie, Lauren and team do makeup and hair for my wedding and it was the best decision! Not only was I thrilled with how my own hair and makeup came out, but every single per...
son in my wedding loved what was done on them. One of the things my husband noticed was that everyone looked like themselves, not overdone. Multiple of my bridesmaids tried to hire them for their own weddings!
Their work speaks for themselves, but one of the best things was how efficient they were. We decided to start an hour later than we had planned which was nice to be able to have some time in the morning to get ourselves together and they were still able to fit in 2 additional girls for makeup, and finish by the time the photographer had asked. They were unbelievable! My friends are still talking about how wonderful they were - I cannot say enough about them!
Lauren is THE BEST. I went in for a hair trial with what I thought I wanted for an updo. I went home unsure and not completely satisfied. The day of, I told Lauren I changed my min...
d and didn't think my idea of an up do was good enough. She went to work fixing every little detail I didn't love until my hair looked beautiful! She reassured me brides change their mind and was so nice and accommodating. She made all my maids beautiful too without help!!
