From scheduling my trials, through the day of the wedding, Jackie always communicated efficiently and professionally. Everyone at Axle was patient and made my wedding day fun and stress-free. We felt pampered in the studio in the private bridal ready room, and our hair/makeup lasted all day/night! Thank you Jackie, Jacquelyn, Amy, Kristen, and Ashton for making us feel beautiful, inside and out! I would highly recommend booking them for any event. I loved how my wedding hair and makeup came, and so did the rest of my bridal party. These looks lasted all night through plenty of dancing. The team knows how to create looks that are stunning for weddings and come through beautifully in pictures. They listened to what I wanted and were honest in sharing their expertise to help me create a perfect look better than I envisioned for myself. They got everyone ready within the allotted time without any rushing.
Also, leading up to the wedding, I had a hair mishap at another salon (NOT Axle) that Axle helped fix. At the time, I was going to a different salon because I sadly do not live to close Axle anymore. And right before my bridal shower, I got a full foil that did not come the way I liked. When I emailed Jackie with pictures, she immediately got back to me (during non-business hours) to let me know not to worry and that they would help.
Within a week, I had a hair appointment to get a color correction, AND they accommodated me with another appointment right before my wedding for touch-ups. My hair color came PERFECT. This went above and beyond because I know this is a busy time to get color appointments with the holidays approaching.
I could not recommend working with Axle enough. They are insanely talented with hair and makeup, and the customer experience is stellar.

had one makeup trial with her at the salon a few months before my wedding, which was so fun! I had never been to Axle before . The staff was friendly and the salon was super cute (and clean). Jackie listened to exactly what I wanted, I felt very comfortable with her and trusted her immediately. Throughout this entire wedding planning process (during Covid at that) Jackie stayed in touch with me and quickly answered any questions I had. On the day of our wedding, she was punctual in getting to our venue (with another artist who was just as wonderful), and adapted quickly to the somewhat small space we had to setup. She made getting ready the morning of such a great experience! Jackie is professional and fun to be around. She truly went above and beyond in making sure we looked and felt our very best! I will be referring her to everyone I know looking for a makeup artist and look forward to having any excuse to get my makeup done by her again!

Jackie is very knowledgeable with makeup and does a spectacular job - I felt more beautiful than I have ever been. Not only is she great at what she does, she is so friendly and professional, and very responsive via email, which was very important as many things had changed since the beginning of COVID-19 until my wedding on 6/27. I had to email her many times and she was nothing but understanding and reassuring throughout it all. When she and Shannon arrived on my wedding day, they were set up in no time and executed everyone's hair and makeup perfectly and on schedule! They are personable and fun to chat with while getting ready, and always listen to what you have to say about the look you're going for. I bought my own hair extensions, but did not have them for my trial, so Shannon used them on the day of without having seen them - they blended in perfectly and she did a great job at styling them. I would highly recommend Jackie and the team at Axle Color Studio, you will not be disappointed!

Their work speaks for themselves, but one of the best things was how efficient they were. We decided to start an hour later than we had planned which was nice to be able to have some time in the morning to get ourselves together and they were still able to fit in 2 additional girls for makeup, and finish by the time the photographer had asked. They were unbelievable! My friends are still talking about how wonderful they were - I cannot say enough about them!
