Aykut Events

Update! I just noticed DJ Aykut oddly doesn't have many reviews listed on the Knot despite being a top DJ in the Bay Area. DJ Aykut performed at our wedding at the Westin St. Francis in February of this year. We are extremely happy to report that all the reviews are true - he is phenomenal. DJ Aykut is timely, professional, dresses the part, and will indeed keep your guests dancing all night. The preparation process was a breeze - we opted to take an easy, hands-off approach. We provided a short list of our 'must have' songs as well as an eclectic song request list provided by our wedding guests (we suggest adding a song request question to the RSVP process on your wedding website - we used withjoy.com which generated songs into an excel list). We gave Aykut full discretion to use or not use any of the song requests to keep the crowd dancing. Trust me - he can read a crowd and he 'gets it'. He used requested songs when appropriate and incorporated his picks as needed. There wasn't a point in the evening where the dance floor was empty. We highly recommend DJ Aykut for any event you want to leave dancing guests both impressed and exhausted, lol.

Aykut was the DJ at our wedding in August. He was easy to work with, flexible, reliable, and had a positive attitude. He played the songs we requested plus put his own spin on the music. Definitely hire Aykut as the DJ for your next event!

We hired DJ Aykut for our wedding based on his Yelp reviews and were so happy! He communicated throughout and always responded to my emails. He was not only professional but dressed for our formal wedding, which I really appreciated. Most importantly the music was UNREAL! We had guests from 80 years old to my sorority girlfriends on the dance floor the entire night. He also always played what fit the mood throughout cocktail hour and dinner. If you want everyone dancing at your reception than I’d highly recommend.

In preparing for our wedding, Aykut was very accessible by email and phone. His level of experience gave us confidence that our big day would go smoothly. We got married at our family's horse ranch with our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception each in different parts of the ranch. It was also a Persian meets country style wedding. Aykut definitely had his work cut out for him with the different locations and the drastically different cultures of the bride's and groom's sides! We were blown away by how perfectly the DJ'ing went!! Aykut ensured a fun blend of Persian music, country music, and everything in between. Everyone was up and dancing to every song!

We were thrilled with DJ Aykut. He got our party off right away and our guests couldn't leave the dance floor... we had an absolute blast!! He also helped us out by editing our first dance and entrance songs. We had a ton of fun.

Aykut did a great job keeping the dance floor full throughout the night. He was able to mix arabic and english music getting all age groups up to dance. Great sense of how to read the crowd and keep people having fun on the dance floor. He got a little mixed with the announcements, but all in all it was a five star job!
