About this vendor
Your wedding deserves a soundtrack that feels like you — not a playlist on shuffle. I’m DJ AyO, the DJ behind Ayo Entertainment, and I specialize in crafting weddings that are smooth, meaningful, and unforgettable on the dance floor. I take the time to understand your musical taste, your story, and the vibe you want in the room — then I build a flow that keeps your guests dancing all night.
As a seasoned open-format DJ with club, festival, and luxury-event experience, I read the room and mix seamlessly across genres so the energy stays up and the transitions stay tight. Whether you want R&B classics, current hits, salsa and bachata, old school hip-hop, or a full dance-party takeover — we’ll make it feel natural, intentional, and perfectly you.
From ceremony audio to cocktail ambiance to a packed-out reception, I handle the details behind the scenes so you can just be present and enjoy every moment. With state-of-the-art sound, elegant uplighting, and a collaborative planning process, your celebration will look and feel incredible start to finish.
If your goal is a beautiful ceremony, smooth flow, and a dance floor that stays full, let’s make it happen.
Serving Upstate New York, the Hudson Valley, Capital Region, Adirondacks — and available for travel.

If you’re searching for a DJ for your special day, look no further than DJ AyO. My husband and I just got married on 8/30/25 and choosing DJ AyO as our DJ/MC was the best decision ...
yet! He’s incredibly personable, takes the time to get to know you, and shows that you’re more than just a client to him. The communication from start to finish was consistent and easy. He made sure to listen to what our vision was and utilized an app to personalize the music you wanted for every part of your wedding. He also asked a lot of what I learned were very important questions to make sure your day goes exactly as planned. DJ AyO did not miss a beat and his skill and personality was one of the number one compliments we received on our wedding! He was fantastic at reading the room and kept the dance floor rocking all night. Remember, the DJ you choose for your wedding can make or break or day and if you want to make sure your day becomes a memory you will cherish for a lifetime, DJ AyO is the answer!
DJ Ayo was one of the key reasons our wedding was LIT! He is overall a great guy, amazing to work with, and such a professional. It was really hard to find a DJ for our venue that ...
we could trust. There were a lot of unprofessional or unresponsive DJs, a lot of generic, plug-in-a-playlist DJs and then there was DJ AyO. He stood out and he just understood what we were going for. We didn't want the same old wedding playlist, we wanted a party with everyone on the dancefloor and that's what we got. It was an interracial marriage with Caribbean and white family and he played something for everyone. It was so awesome to see everyone dancing and having a good time until it was time to leave. He also took charge when we couldn't find our coordinator for the wedding party intro. He really is the best wedding DJ out there. Thanks DJ AyO!
DJ Ayo was great to work with -- extremely organized, responsive to our preferences, and just an overall good guy who cares about the quality of his work. Our guests were dancing t...

praise how exceptional DJ Ayo was. I admire his use of Vibo for streamlined organization rather than the usual email exchanges. What sets him apart is his genuine commitment to understanding his clients. He took the time to meet us in person to get to know us and our personalities. He also conducted a Zoom meeting just before the big day to finalize the small details, putting our minds at ease. This gave us complete confidence in him to run the show. His professionalism shines through with insightful recommendations, and he truly excels in active listening. With him, you're not just another client; you are seen and heard as a fellow human being. He prioritizes the relationship above all, making the music a close second. Having such a wholesome individual as part of our special day was truly a blessing.

ding, to the late night, last minute changes and phone calls the week of the wedding to make sure we had all the details were correct, his attention to detail was amazing. book for your event. Hiring a DJ is strictly word of mouth; you can't look at photos, taste the food or go to a store and shop around. You're trusting reviews, the conversations with the DJ and what you hear from friends/family. DJ Ayo will make you feel like you are his only priority, he is available via text/email/call, he's attentive, professional and organized. And that's all just leading up to the wedding! The week of the wedding he drove an hour out of his way to the venue to check out the space as he had never been there before and wanted to be 100% prepared for the big day. We had a nontraditional space for our ceremony and he used his expertise to time the songs perfectly. For the reception, he had given us ideas on how we wanted to start the evening and it was a hit! We dance, danced and danced some more! We've had nothing but positive feedback from our guests about how they never left the dance floor. DJ Ayo exceeded our expectations and is the perfect addition to a wedding day. You will not regret booking him. With that said, I will say take care and happy planning! - Your friend, Lindsey
