I hired Azahn after reading the positive reviews and of course liking their work. Alex in charge of cinematography was very professional and did a great job. Unfortunately, I was so disappointed with Austin (photography) and due to the stress she caused me I am giving Azahn 1 star even though I liked Alex (Cinematography). When I first reached out to Austin (photographer) she was very professional and nice but once I signed the contract things changed. Austin was very hard to get a hold of and for days she would not return my emails, calls, or texts. When she did return my messages I felt it was with annoyance and attitude. But the number one reason that I am dissatisfied with Azahn is because the day of my wedding Austin, the main photographer did not show up to photograph my wedding instead she sent an assistant. When I first met she had no prior bookings for my day and told me she would personally photograph my wedding. I met with her before the wedding to set a timeline and I texted her the night before and day off to remind them of my wedding and never did she communicate with me that she was not going to be able to photograph my wedding. I find it beyond unprofessional to not communicate and inform me of photographer change on such a stressful day. I felt cheated by her because I paid for her service not an assistant. When I asked Alex why she was not at my wedding he told me that she was photographing another wedding. The day I signed the contract we covered what would happen if she got sick or had an accident she informed me that she would send an assistant. The work was also disappointing we took pictures in 3 different locations but all the pictures looked the same because she only had us do the 3 same poses over and over. There was no creativity whatsoever. Out of all of my engagement pictures I only really liked 5 since the poses were so repetitive. I do not recommend Austin (Photography) due to her lack of professionalism and extra stress she creates. I do recommend Alex (Cinematography).

How hired Azahn to photograph our daughters wedding. Alex and Austin did an amazing job in keeping everyone together during the photo shoots. They made sure to get all the special family shots and were also able to capture some beautiful special private pictures of the bride and groom. The video was just beautiful. I would highly recommend Azahn photography and use them again.

I found Austin during my pregnancy and our journey began. She has taken wonderful pregnancy pictures, amazing newborn pictures and recently our anniversary pictures with our beautiful daughter. I never took wedding pictures so these really meant a lot to me. She took the time to listen to what I really wanted. Our shoot was at the beach just the way I always dreamed of. I love that fact that she always takes time to listen to the small details that mean a lot.

Austin and Alex did a wonderful job at our wedding. They were completely organized and on schedule the whole day. The poses were fun and my bridal party had a great time. Our photos and video are beautiful. So glad we choose AZahn!!!

My sister hired Azahn Photography for her wedding and they did an amazing job! Everyone loved the pictures and video. They are very professional, talented, and wonderful to work with. I would highly recommend them and will use them for my wedding!

The photo booth was a great add on for my guests during the the reception, also it made a wonderful photo guest book that we now have to look at. Also, Our photos and video were well worth the wait and I'm so glad we were able to have a video of our wedding made for us. For all you brides out there, we cut back on our wedding for this video and let me tell you that out of everything it was definetly worth it. The wedding is over, flowers are dead and people pass on (we lost our aunt and grandma shortly after our wedding) but guess what we have our video:)

I contacted Austin several months ago and we went back and forth for months just trying to get her to send me a contract for my wedding day, but she never sent it like she said she would. I attempted to contact her about it several times, but each time she indicated she was busy and would send the contract when she arrived home or picked up her son or finished a shoot, etc.... Unfortunately, contract never came. This went on for a while... excuse after excuse... until she finally said that she couldn't do my wedding any longer. I could have found and booked another photographer (which a lot of them have now been booked) in the time I spent attempting to contract with Austin. It was incredibly frustrating and unprofessional behavior. I wasted a lot of precious time I could have spent planning my wedding!

I hired Azahn to photograph my daughters wedding. Alex and Austin did an amazing job. The photos are stunning and the video was beautiful. We also rented their Photo Booth and it was a hit with all of the guests. I would recommend them to anybody who is looking for amazing photos.

As an older bride I found Austin and Alex to completely understand my needs. The care they took to make me feel like a beautiful bride was amazing. I received my photos and video exactly when they said they would arrive. They did over and above what was written in our contract . They are simply the BEST to be found

We hired Azhan for our photography and vidography for our wedding. Both Alex and Austin, a married couple, have been professionally trained at Brooks Institute for photography and videography and it shows! My husband and I were very pleased with the quality of their work as well as their willingness to meet our needs. They went above and beyond to capture our special day just as we had discussed. The wedding video, pictures and photo book were beautiful and we always get compliments on the photos hanging in our house. It makes things so much easier when the people you have hired to capture your day are accommodating to your needs and requests rather than having to accommodate to a photographers needs, which is what we kept finding with so many other photographers we interviewed. Their pricing is competitive and have many different packages. We chose the all inclusive photography and videography one which was still better priced than some of the other photographers we were considering. They live in Bakersfield but will travel for your wedding and if close enough will not charge extra. I would highly recommend Azhan to anyone looking for a quality photographer and videographer, and have referred other friends who have used them and felt the same way!

My husband of five years and I got married in 2009. We are very much in love. Photographer duo, Alex and Austin has captured moments that we will truly remember forever. The dream team not only captured unforgettable moments of our wedding but also our yearly family pictures years after. We met them at Barnes and Noble a couple of months before we got married, we had already signed and paid our deposit to an overpriced, mediocre photographer. They worked with our budget and gave us a great deal. I would say that a picture is worth a thousand words, and I think hiring a great photographer is a good investment and Azahn is the best in town. I have recommended them to friends and family because they are good in what they do and they love it. We had a great time shooting with them with the many shoots that we did through out the years. Alex and Austin are our go-to for family portraits, etc. Shoot them a text or email, because they get booked pretty quick!

I was reffered to AZahn Photography for my outdoor wedding back in March. My groom and I wanted to shop around but the moment we met with Austin we fell in love with her work. During the wedding photos they were very professional and made all of our crazy photo request work in our time frame! When we received our wedding photos they were breathtaking and I was impressed that she got them all done earlier than the expected! I refer them to everyone!

We were fortunate to hear about AZahn because they were used in a previous wedding of another sibling. They are professional to the "t". they get in there and do their thing. You can see the difference in quality and value when looking at other photographers' work. You'll be glad you went with AZahn when looking back on your memories. They do it all right the first time, and exceptionally meet and surpass your expectations!

Even before my husband proposed, I came across Azahn’s website in one of my wedding “daydream” internet sessions and felt that I would love to have them do our pictures if he ever asked the big question. A number of months passed until he proposed and I remembered Azahn and had to talk to them further. I was very impressed by their professionalism in both their photography and videography. My fiancé and I decided to go all out and have both services at our wedding. We are so glad we decided on both, as the quality was superb and will be a beautiful memory for us and our family.

Azahn did an amazing job with video for our wedding! Video really does speak a thousand words and will capture so much more than a picture often times, I would recommend getting video and using Alex! He did a fantastic job with our video, and putting together a final product that captured everything! He did some black-white captures, slow motion, special effects, and really made an excellent video for us to keep for ages! They were great!!!

I loved having Austin as our wedding photographer. She did our engagement and our wedding pictures. They came out wonderful. She made us feel comfortable and at ease. She worked with us on building a package that fit our budget. We even had to change a couple of things last minute and Austin worked with us to get what we wanted. She captured every special moment at our weeding. I highly recommend Azahn Photography!!!!

I absolutely loved my wedding photos. Austin spent time getting to know me and my style. She knew exactly what photos meant the most to me on the big day!! She was fun to work with and goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is happy! She even had a tissue for my sister who started crying during pictures. I highly recommend AZahn. They have now taken pictures for all of our important family moments!

The first time we saw their work from our friend's wedding, we are sure it's them! So by the time we decided on our wedding date, we consulted from Azahn right away. We even have to change our wedding date because they're not available. That's how we love them! We value photos and videos so much because of its memories. A year of planning with them from the photo sessions we've had to the day of the wedding, we enjoyed working with them. You pay what you got! Quality is important to us. We higly recommend Azahn photography and cinematography!

Azahn are by far the best wedding photographers in Bakersfield. I travelled to Bridal shows through Bakersfield as well as in Fresno and on the central coast in San Luis. I was the most impressed with their creative style in photography and Videography. The photos came out great, and our wedding music video was hilarious and unique. People still ask me to send them the link to our music video from our wedding. Azahn photography do AMAZING work. Thank you Austin and Alex!

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Alex and Austin Zahn for our wedding. We utilized AZahn for our cinematography for our love story, our wedding, and photography and cinematography for our trash the dress session. First and foremost, this couple is not only down-to-earth, but VERY accommodating. Being a control freak and a perfectionist, I can be difficult to work with. I was not happy with a few of my responses during our love story session, and Alex did not hesitate when I asked for a re-do session. Not only was my experience with AZahn exceptional, their finished products literally brought tears to my eyes. I made a demanding list and detailed itinerary of what I wanted and didn't want incorporated in our videos, but also encouraged AZahn's professional expertise. Not only did I receive EVERYTHING I asked for, but all three videos (love story, wedding, trash the dress) were far beyond what I expected. Alex and Austin really considered who we are as a couple and incorporated it into the memories we will cherish for a lifetime. AZahn is very personable and I appreciate that they cater to the bride and groom's wants/personalities. We have been married for over three years, and I cannot count the number of times I have re-watched our videos, and without fail, I'm in tears every time I watch them. Also, the photos from our trash the dress session is one of my all-time favorite photos. We have one printed on metal, which we have showcased in an entertainment area in our home; we get nothing but raves about it when guests are over. We are now expecting our first child and although we no longer live in the area, because of the great service we experience in the past, we are utilizing AZahn for our maternity and newborn photography. Thank you AZahn for capturing our love, personalities, and joy and allowing us to remember them for a lifetime.

I was absolutely blessed with stumbling upon AZahn Photography at a local bridal show because I was looking for a photographer, cinematographer, and a photo booth. AZahn offers all 3! We got a lot of bang for our buck with their awesome packages. I was extremely satisfied with their professional high quality work and their amazing, funny, and sweet personalities. They truly knew what they were doing and it made our wedding day run so smooth. The Mendez family loves AZahn!

I would highly recommend Azahn as your wedding Videographer. They are professional, creative and so amazing to work with. Alex gave us memories that will live on for a lifetime! Our wedding was so much fun but because we were being pulled in every direction we didn’t remember every little detail like we thought we would. Our wedding video gave us back those details. To hear my husband say his vows again brought tears to my eyes again. I am truly happy with all of the hard work that Azahn put in to recording and editing our video. So if you are getting married...hire Azahn to capture your wedding and all of those amazing memories. It is worth every penny!!!!

I could not be more satisfied with my photos and video on my special day. Azahn goes above and beyond your expectations. Not only are they extremely qualified, they are uniquely creative and wonderfully professional. They give you full access to all your photos in their entirety to share with all your family and friends. They have no restrictions and are fabulously accommodating. I couldn't have picked anyone better! Highly recommend!!!!

No one better for videography in Bakersfield. Alex and Austin were so much fun to work with and they use the best and latest equipment. I told Alex he looked like a ghost hunter with all his equipment! Their prices are EXCELLENT and they are super professional. We had such a blast in the party bus with them. I wish I could give more stars!!

AZahn photography is phenomenal. Their work speaks for itself. Just take a look at the galleries on their site and be blown away. We decided early in our engagement that the photography and videography of our special day was one of the most important aspects as it would be our only way to relive that day. The moment passes and the memories fade but what Alex and Austin captured will last my husband and I a lifetime. Not only are they professionally trained, use all of the latest special equipment and offer every service you can imagine from your photographer, they are a very special team and are able to capture moments you didn’t even realize were happening! Austin makes sure the ladies are “picture perfect” and Alex keeps the guys at attention and engaged! Austin and Alex were wonderful! The helped so much with the planning of my wedding, not just the photos and video, and helped me get my initial timeline started. They went above and beyond in all areas, from planning, to engagement photos, to keeping our wedding day on schedule, and designing our album. They were always very quick in getting back to me with any questions I had and were extremely accommodating and flexible. Not to mention the amazing photos and video! I was so happy with my choice of photographer and videographer. I would recommend them to all brides, they were worth every penny we spent!

We are so happy we chose Austin and Alex to do our photos and video. The photography was the most difficult decision we had to make and there are so many photographers out there. We decided to do an Engagement Session with them first to make sure that we liked their work before our wedding. The photos and video came out so beautiful and we had so much fun shooting it, that there was no question that we wanted them to do our wedding. They took our favorite photos and made Save the Date Postcards and a Sign In Guest Book. They did such an amazing job and since they do both photography and videography we got two vendors for the price of one. We even decided to do a Trash the Dress Session with them. The photos and video of it are just so cool! No one believes that I actually got in the ocean in my dress, and afterwards I took it to the Dry Cleaners and it came back looking perfect We would recommend them to anyone.
