b Wed Charleston

that that wasn't what we wanted to do. After some research, I reached out to Gena and I am SO glad that I did! Our wedding was a destination wedding, and Gena made the planning process an absolute breeze. Everything was so well-organized, with well-thought out questionnaires sent throughout the planning process. Gena's communication was efficient, friendly, and top-notch! The vendors Gena used were great, from the cellist we chose to the photographer that captured the most beautiful memories. The actual wedding day is something we still talk about - our family and friends keep gushing about how it was the best wedding they've ever been to! Gena took care of all of the little details on the day-of, so that we could sit back and truly enjoy the day. If I could give Gena/bWed 50 stars, I would!!

pert at what she does. She made the entire wedding planning process so easy, even though I was coordinating from DC. Thanks to her, our wedding day was flawless. Gena’s network of vendors is top-notch, each adding a special touch that elevated our celebration-- and they are extremely efficient! She thought through every detail, so my husband and I never had to worry about a thing. Gena helped us pick and customize a package that perfectly suited our vision, providing spot-on advice about everything from flowers to transportation. She anticipated our needs with thoughtful questions and details I never would have considered. On the day of the wedding, Gena brought such a fun, but calming vibe that made everyone feel at ease. Her sense of humor and professionalism set the tone for a joyful, seamless experience that allowed us to truly enjoy every moment of our big day. I can’t thank her enough for making our wedding so special! Highly, highly recommend!!

absolutely loved our wedding day and every detail was perfect!

commendations are extraordinary and I will cherish the photos and videos of this day for years to come.

ely to be around and you can tell she loved her job. The photographer she hired was amazing and the florist made such a stunning bouquet. I'm so glad we chose her for our special day.

at every moment was infused with magic. Despite unexpected rain, Gena and photographer Taylor seamlessly transformed challenges into opportunities, arranging the most enchanting photoshoot we could have ever imagined. Taylor's talent behind the lens captured every emotion, making the rain seem like a blessing rather than a setback. Gena's dedication to perfection and her team's expertise truly made our special day one for the books. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding planner or a more remarkable experience. Thank you, Gena, Taylor, Carrie and the entire team, for making our dreams a reality!

ear I stumbled upon BWed’s website and reached out because she had the most good reviews online. I fully expected her to say we didn’t have enough time to plan a wedding in less than five months. Boy was I wrong. She immediately got to work on our elopement and when I say stress free (for me) I mean stress free. All I had to do was check in every few days and make final decisions. She went and found all the things and took care of all the details. We eloped +4 guests and it really felt like Gena was our 5th guest. She had everything figured out to the minute for the big day and I couldn’t have been happier. To be able to just show up to your destination wedding and not stress over the details is priceless. Gena is an expert in her field and I would trust her to plan literally anything for me. She found our venue and recommended our hotel. She took care of my bouquet, the musician, photographer, and officiant. She held my hand along the way and made tiny suggestions here and there that really made a big difference. She is an absolute gem. If you’re getting married and need help, please call Gena. The only time I panicked was after the wedding when it was time for her to go. She’s incredible, ten stars.

re delighted with the array of services offered. As a perfectionist, I'll admit I was a tad worried to rely on someone else to plan and coordinate my wedding day, but looking back I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat! With the help of Pinterest, questionnaires, and weekly emails, Gena truly made my Pinterest board wedding come to life! She coordinated many aspects of our day including our breath-taking venue (Governor Thomas Bennett House), jaw-dropping florals, and gorgeous (and tasty) wedding cake just to name a few. The day of our wedding she did a phenomenal job ensuring everyone was on schedule which kept allowed myself, my husband, and our families to take in and enjoy the beautiful day. We truly cannot speak highly enough of Gena and recommend her services to anyone looking to elope in Charleston, SC!

every step of the way to answer my crazy questions and make me feel at ease with our special day. It was the most beautiful day, and working with Gena just made those important decisions so easy and manageable. I would recommend over and over 10000x again to anyone looking to have a beautiful intimate ceremony.

t want for anything. Thank you, Gena!

d up being even better than I could have imagined. Highly recommend to everyone!

equipping me with the best hair and makeup (literally- I’ve never been more happy than this day with professional beauty services), remembered ALLLLL the little things when planning our day, and helped us incorporate our immediate families / daughters in the best of ways! Not to mention- she’s so much fun while strolling streets of Charleston to encompass all of the views into such a special day! We are forever grateful and would recommend her a thousand times over.

ay thanks to her. It was truly as simple as letting her know our vision and she made sure it all happened. Her organization and communication is elite! I could not imagine our wedding day without her 🤍

thing that my husband and I wanted for our day. The hair/makeup artist, officiant, photographer, and florist who Gena brought together were all stellar, and it could not have gone any better. I am so glad that we went with b Wed Charleston to help plan our wedding, and I am so grateful for everything Gena did to make our day perfect!

nd made sure that everything was perfect. Everything I asked for happened and plenty more that made the day perfect. My makeup and hair artist was perfect as well. She also complimented b Wed and Gena the whole time. My flowers were perfect. Cameron was my photographer and it was everything I wanted with my wedding pictures. Also, my officiant, Casey, was perfect and worked with us to make our ceremony exactly what we envisioned. We also went through Gena to have a car service and Richard was such a great man to have around on an important day. I still can't get over how great this day was all because of b Wed. I can not say enough great things about Gena and b Wed.

and she kept me up to date with the process. Gena was very personable and laid back when we met her the day of our elopement. The lady that she had do my hair was very nice, and Cameron the photographer was great too! We are not very photogenic, so I was hoping for just one or two good pictures out of the day....and they were all great. I loved them. I definitely recommend her!!

so timely. I appreciated the initial step by step process to work out the details. Her kindness showed through in everything she did for our special day. Finally meeting her in person was simply a delight - southern hospitality for sure. Being able to let go and enjoy the day was so important to me and since this was the second time around for me, it was even more important. No regrets or second thoughts about our choice to use Gena/bWed. She is just awesome!!!!!

hedule. The vendors that she used for hair and makeup were amazing. I was a tad nervous going in not knowing but the hair and makeup turned out beautiful and the pictures are better than I hoped. I highly recommend!

g exactly how we imagined it to be even when we were 900 miles away! She answered all of our questions ( we had a ton) and planned everything. We didn't have to worry about a thing. When we finally met Gena on our wedding day she was so nice and inviting and it made me feel like I knew her for years. If you are trying to plan a destination wedding I would chose B Wed Charleston!!!! You will not be disappointed!

anyone else looking for an experience to remember!

ly. I would highly recommend working with her. She was absolutely wonderful and made sure our wedding was exactly what we wanted.

a few questionnaires on my end) that everything flowed smoothly, looked beautiful, and was everything I could have imagined for our day with minimal stress on my end (felt like a pampered princess over here). I really appreciated her honesty and money saving tips throughout the planning process. I was initially nervous about turning over the reigns for all vendor choices, but that was completely unfounded as all vendors (flowers, cake, hair and makeup, musicians, photographer, videographer, etc.) were the best of the best and so fun to work with! Still in awe of this day a month later and so thankful for Gena. You cannot go wrong with b Wed Charleston.

eam which added so much to our elopement! She thought of everything and went above and beyond!

and enthusiastic business owner. Thank you for making our elopement experience so joyous!

was incredible and so talented. My photographer was THE BEST. If you want to have a beautiful, intimate, STRESS FREE wedding, pick Gena!!

husband is from South Carolina, and I fell in love with Charleston when he took me to meet his family. We knew that was the place to go! Our search didn't take long before we found Gina. She made everything so easy and dealt with my terrible communication skills. She never once made me feel rushed in the few decisions I had to make and kept everything organized and on time. The hardest thing I had to do was pick flowers for my bouquet. She truly handled everything from start to finish, and I don't think our wedding day could have been more perfect. We don't regret a single decision about our elopement, and we have Gina to thank for that!

was always available for help and any questions we had were answered. Not only was she so detail oriented, but she was all around a great person. We thank her so much for her help with our dream wedding.

vendors are top notch, she handles everything with such ease and truly makes you feel special every step of the way. Thank you Gena, you are truly the best!

wledgeable, and full of amazing suggestions/ideas. On our wedding day, there was not one second that I worried about anything because I knew Gena was taking care of everything. When I met her, I instantly felt like she was a friend or a family member. We could not have asked for a better day. She is truly a wedding angel and we’re so lucky to have found her. Gena, thank you for everything. You are simply the best.

knowledge about weddings in the Charleston area. We were traveling in from Upstate SC and she gave us wonderful recommendations on hotels and restaurants, too! Gena's vendors are top notch! From the cake, to the flowers, to hair & makeup, it was all perfect. Her photographer was OUTSTANDING! I couldn't recommend b Wed Charleston enough!

th very busy at work, so having a coordinator for our elopement was a lifesaver. Going into the process, we didn’t have any ideas on what to do and Gena handled everything we needed, including selecting an officiant and photographer, making suggestions on locations, sending helpful reminders and checklists, and was incredibly responsive throughout the whole process. I didn’t expect to get that level of coordination and engagement since we were just doing a no-guest elopement, but I was very thankful for all her help and advice. We would highly recommend her to anyone planning an elopement or wedding.

e excited with every email we received from her. She honestly felt like a good friend by the time our wedding happened. Gena made planning a small wedding from hundreds of miles away so easy and smooth for us. We cannot recommend her enough!!

utely perfect! I will recommend her time and time again. Again thank you Gena for everything!

d on every request I had. I am a very passive person, and I had absolutely no earthly idea what I wanted with our wedding—spotlight on Gena, because she knocked it out of the park! It was everything I ever dreamed of and I could never thank her enough for all she did. Down to the smallest details, Gena thought of EVERYTHING. Gena also has the BEST group of ladies helping her—our pictures, my makeup, my hair, my flowers, my son & husband’s boutonnières, our cake & cupcake... It was incredible. You absolutely cannot go wrong with Gena and her girls. I cannot recommend her enough 🤍

ured every detail was organized perfectly which minimized our stress levels. On the day, Gena and her photographer were so fun and nice to be with and they made us feel relaxed. We were so pleased to have hired Gena to plan our big day! Michael & Amelia

w how I wanted everything to look and Gena and her amazing team made it happen so effortlessly. Everyone she collaborates with is top-notch; from the officiant to the make-up artist to the photographer, we were so pleased with everything. And meeting Gena in person, she is so genuine, fun and supportive. If you're thinking about it, just do it! She's the best and made us feel comfortable knowing we didn't have to stress and could just enjoy our wedding day! Thanks again Gena!

e thing which was the best part. She took care of all of the details- all we had to do was show up! We are truly grateful to her for helping us have a perfect wedding day.

We were able to enjoy our engagement and remove any stress from the dreaded wedding plans. She made sure to get everything we requested and went above and beyond anything we could have done on our own. We chose the venue and our anniversary/date and she made it happen. She spaced out the questions/requests so we weren’t overwhelmed and was very responsive whenever we emailed/called. All of the people she chose to help make our day special were an absolute pleasure! My hair and makeup were flawless. The officiant gave us the ceremony we will alway remember. Our flowers were beautiful. Our photographer was able to perfectly capture the love and laughter. You would not go wrong if you choose to work with Gena!

eling a little stressed and nervous about the whole process, but Gena calmed my nerves and made everything magic! Here are a few of my favorite things about working with Gena: 1) Completely stress free! Her packages take the guess work out of the whole process and really simplify planning. It minimizes the choices you have to make and completely removes stress. This was especially important to me since we had a short timeline and were planning from a distance for a destination elopement. I tell everyone that I only had to pick my dress and my husband. Gena took care of the rest! 2) Access to the very best vendors. It was nice to have someone make arrangements for me, but also a bit of a risk! Turns out, I didn’t have anything to worry about. Every single vendor that Gena selected for our day was beyond perfect. Everyone raved about the flowers, the cake, the pictures, hair and makeup, etc. Not being from Charleston, there is NO way I would have done that good picking everything myself. Gena only works with the best! 3) Supporting women-owned businesses. This was important to me on my big day. I wanted to support women entrepreneurs—especially during COVID! Pretty much every dollar we spent went to women-owned businesses thanks to Gena and b Wed. 4) Excellent communication. Gena is SO responsive and stays in close communication throughout the process. I never wondered where anything stood because she was so proactive and detail oriented. 5) Surprisingly affordable! One reason we decided to elope was the cost. Everyone knows that weddings are expensive, but not everyone knows it doesn’t have to be that way! Our day was everything we wanted and it was a fraction of the cost we would have spent on a traditional wedding or even compared to some other elopement and “minimonies” vendors. Gena is worth every penny and then some. It’s been one month since we got married, and my husband and I keep talking about how stress-free and fun our day was. Saving money and time was nice, but the most important thing that Gena did for us was allow us to focus on each other and our guests for our wedding day rather than worrying about a bunch of details. We are so grateful for her and cannot recommend her and b Wed Charleston enough!

return any questions or concerns. On the day of our outdoor wedding it rained, but Gena was well prepared and made our celebration work out anyways! I would recommend b Wed of Charleston to anyone that wants a beautiful and stress free (or close to it) wedding ceremony.
