n real time. Thanks to our amazing videographer we were able to right this wrong and create the moment after the wedding. We hired CBQ (currently “Baby Makes Memories”) because Joy assured us on her attention to detail and professionalism, which was not our experience from start to finish. To start, when sending out the timeline to our venue event director, the wedding date and the number of attendees was inaccurate. Which made it appear to us that she cut and paste the document without reviewing it. There were so many errors that the venue director contacted us to make sure he had the correct information. The additional time and energy it took to double check all of her mistakes, resulted in feeling even more anxious and less confident in her ability to properly execute our wedding day. A week before our nuptials (the most nerve-wracking time) she forgot to order flowers that we needed for the outdoor ceremony. She took no personal accountability and blamed the incident solely on the florist. The error caused us to accrue additional cost and created further doubt that she could execute the “fairly tail” wedding that she promised. During the wedding rehearsal (which should have taken 1-hour tops) she had difficulty managing all of the moving parts and seemed unprepared. This resulted in the bridal party rehearsing outside, in the dark, which made us late for our rehearsal dinner. When paying our vendors that we hand selected it was mentioned several times that she was difficult to work with. This was disheartening. When hiring a wedding planner, they represent you and should make your special day easier not more difficult. I was disappointed with the result because I was hopeful that she would deliver on her promises and she didn’t.
