Tricia, the owner, was so responsive, professional, and laid back. She let us try six different flavors for free and we settled on four different flavors for our big deal. The price was so affordable compared to other places we looked! She even rented us a cupcake stand to display them for a refundable deposit. And the cupcakes were DELICIOUS. Would hire again in a heartbeat.
Working with Tricia was a breeze. It was so fun to get to order a number of different flavors, and her flexibility with gluten-free and dairy-free accommodations was straightforward. We got exactly what we ordered and everyone raved about the flavor, texture, and size of these cupcakes. The cupcakes were ready on time, and beautifully iced. Will definitely order again, and highly recommend!
We used BabyCakes for about 100 cupcakes and our cutting cake. She was so friendly and easy to work with. The set up turned out beautiful and all guests loved the exciting cupcake flavors. Absolutely recommend for all your cupcake needs!
Literally the BEST. I have far too much to say about this place, so let me try to summarize. When I moved to Lexington 7 years ago I found Babycakes and am SO glad I did. I’ve been a die-hard fan ever since, so when I got engaged I was relieved to know at least one planning decision would be easy: cupcake tower! The bar was already set high since we knewhow incredible Babycakes creations are, but somehow we were still blown away by the presentation on our big day.
Absolutely amazing!!! I used Babycakes for my wedding and Tricia was so accommodating! She was incredible every step of the way! I was planning my wedding from out of state but she was always prompt with her responses and she made me feel so at ease about the process! She even delivered and set up the cupcakes for me!
The actual cupcakes themselves are fantastic! I tried so many mediocre and dry cupcakes but these cupcakes are moist and delicious! All of the flavors are so amazing! I got so many compliments during the reception! They were a hit! They were even amazing for breakfast the next day (we had some no shows so we had extra cupcakes) and people were fighting over them at the day after brunch!

We used Baby Cakes for our wedding cake and they were AMAZING to work with. When we first expressed interest, we were provided 6 sample cupcakes based on what we told them we like. All were delicious. We ordered ~150 cupcakes and a small cutting cake which they delivered to our wedding location and for a deposit we were able to use their cupcake tier. (We got the $20 deposit back after returning the tier about a week later.) Having cupcakes at our wedding saved us a lot of hassle plus we avoided the typical cake cutting fee. All of our guests enjoyed them and we were able to pick a variety of flavors. I highly recommend using Baby Cakes for any events where you want to serve cake.

BabyCakes went above and beyond for my cupcake display. The cupcakes were delicious and the set up was gorgeous!! Best of all, I didn't have to think twice about it. They took care of it 100%! But the best part, I ordered a small cake to cut on the top of the display. I didn't ask for much with the decoration of the cutting cake. When we got there, we saw that they had gone above and beyond to match the cake to the horseshoe design on the guys' bow ties!! Such a great touch!! It was a big hit! And VERY affordable!! I will forever sing BabyCakes praises!!
Our guests loved this unique idea. We got cupcakes and used them as our centerpieces. They also made us a small cake for cutting. They are truly friendly and make amazing cupcakes!
Since I could not decide between a cake flavor for our wedding, I decided to go the cupcake-wedding cake route....and it was a great decision! Tricia was so accomodating and even created a signature cake flavor per our request. Our guests are still raving about the amazing cupcakes that were extremely yummy, but not so sweet that it made you sick.
