and blueberries, was so moist and delicious and fit our summer beach wedding theme perfectly. I wanted a very specific design and I brought in photos of that design. I was a bit scared that the final product wouldn't look like the photos, but honestly they far exceeded my expectations and the cake looked even better than the sample photos. It was done beautifully and fit what we were looking for perfectly. Babycakes coordinated directly with my venue on the delivery which made things very simple the day of. I dropped off my topper a few days in advance and they placed it on the cake for me. The cake was moist and delicious, we got a lot of compliments. Thank you Babycakes!

My mother is a florist so we planned on doing the flowers ourselves. But Babycakes did the rest of the decorations including a ribbon edge and patterns in the icing. The cake came out beautiful and was exactly what we expected. We were very happy with our choice, thank you to Tania and the Babycakes team!

We also chose strawberry, red velvet, black bottom, and marble cupcake flavors. And they even offer vegan cupcakes now! Our guests must have enjoyed them because there were no cupcakes left at the end of the night! The cake and cupcakes were beautiful and delicious! Tania was professional and responsive to emails, and overall just great to work with. I highly recommend them for any special event!

We did a naked cake and they etched our initials and a heart on the side (like you would in a tree) - it was so cute! Our guests were raving about how good the cake was too. e went out for our cake tasting with Tania, we were surprised by how hard it was for us to choose our favorites. Babycakes San Diego makes such good cakes. All of them are very moist (usually a drawback of wedding cake) and so delicious. Our guests went back for seconds! Also the design was beautifully done, we just picked a design from one of Tania’s hundred’s, told her our color theme and general feel of the wedding and she was able to hit it spot on. I would highly recommend Babycakes for anyone looking for a wedding cake, delicious cupcakes or anything else cake related. We plan to go back and get some for our 1 year anniversary. Also, one of our guests was gluten-free and Tania provided a special chocolate gluten free cupcake JUST for her- it was amazing how accommodating and easy she was to work with.

had a tough time choosing which flavors we were going to choose for our wedding cake. We ended up selecting the blood orange, chocolate decadence, and lemon bavarian. On our big day when I walked into the reception and saw our cake, my jaw dropped. It was perfect and exactly what I had pictured it to be. Not to mention how good it was! We did the lemon bavarian for our top tier and we did not regret that decision!!! It was so fresh and moist, with excellent flavor! We can't wait for our one year anniversary to come back and get some more cake!!

Babycakes' prices were reasonable, and we received a discount as they are preferred vendors at Crowne Plaza San Diego. We had a good consultation appointment with Tania, and she was so helpful and responsive with emails. Very friendly service was received. During the tasting there were only 5 flavors to taste, but that didn't matter as the top three were on that plate! We decided on the blood orange blueberry (my favorite!), tres leches (crowd favorite) and chocolate decadence. No way could I settle for a plain white cake. I really wanted something fruity. It took me a long time to decide what kind of design I wanted, as I usually work with fondant when I bake. But I knew simplicity and delicious buttercream would be best for our wedding. Through email Tania and I designed the secret groom's cake, which had a golf theme. She maintained the secret throughout the consultation and discussed the fake estimate with my groom and I, then emailed me the real quote. I really appreciated that! The cakes stayed in beautiful shape throughout the evening, and the cake was moist and so yummy! I highly recommend this company and will return on my anniversary for that blood orange cake!!

I paid for other make up trials, and food tastings but these cupcakes were without a doubt so yummy I just knew they would be a hit! ***Purchased a cake topper and then variety of cupcakes for guests.

The guests loved the cupcakes, but since they are so big we had around 2 dozen leftover, which was fine since family and friends took them to go! I was a little frantic after the wedding about making sure we got the cupcake tower disassembled and cleaned, and that wasn't fun to worry about on your wedding night, but oh well. Tania even e-mailed us to see how the wedding went, amazing customer service! We had a great experience overall.

With 3 weeks to go, I franticly looked up web sites offering delivery and came across Babycakes on Adams Ave. After leaving a message, Tania called and set up the next available appointment. Not easy to do with my schedule as a flight attendant usually out of town. My next big problem?? Narrowing down flavors to serve at our wedding!! A VERY GOOD PROBLEM! Tania guided me to favorite flavors and there were A LOT! Both cake and frosting flavors! Tania was very helpful in narrowing our choices to four...All were a hit! Now the day of...Cup cakes were baked the day of the wedding and you could tell. So very fresh!...Delivery was 1/2 hour before the wedding...Perfect! The set up and display was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Our guest who have had cup cakes at weddings from other bakeries were impressed and complimented ours. The best compliment was from family members from New York who have the most incredible pastries available daily and not easily impressed...They went home and told everyone about our cup cakes from Babycakes!

kind barista got us some coffees and a seat while we waited for our appointment. Tania brought us the tasting options and we immediately fell in love. We designed a 4-tier cake to feed 175 people. We chose marble, blood orange and red velvet as our flavors. They were all a HUGE hit! I was taken by surprise when it came to the blood orange-- it was so unique and light and refreshing...perfect for a summer wedding! I loved the design we came up with, and working with Tania to finalize it. I also ended up ordering a Grooms cake. My husband and I met playing basketball in college together, so I decided to have a replica of his jersey made, with a border of basketball design cupcakes. The execution of the grooms cake was flawless-- from copying the font of our college jerseys, to the colors used. When you choose Babycakes, as you should, for your wedding cake, you will not be disappointed!!

upcake delivery and setup went smoothly, and our guests all raved about the delicious cupcakes. We had guava mango, lemon bavarian, tres leches, peanut butter and jelly, and black bottom, and they were all just as delicious (if not better) than when we tried them during our tasting.

bulous...very friendly, and very honest. the cost for each cupcake was $3 and they are HUGE! enough to feed 2 people. Whats great about babycakes, is that you can have as many flavors as you want with no extra charge. we ordered the cupcakes as they come because they are so pretty and simple. you can add your own picture/monogram etc if you prefer though. the cream cheese frosting is to die for. everyone complimented on our choice of flavors and they were all gone by the end of the night. this place is fabulous!!!

upcakes to take home with me!!! She was so sweet. We decided to do cupcakes for our wedding because we thought it was cute and different from the traditional cake idea. We did have a small cutting cake. We ordered half of our cupcakes in the flavor of red velvet and half in vanilla shorty (you can have as many flavors as you want). The cupcakes are HUGE!! They put complimentary red rose pedals on all of them. I also dropped off a dozen red roses and ribbon the evening before the wedding. The were able to arrange these roses on top of the cake and line the bottom of the cake with the ribbon. The red velvet flavor was a huge hit. They were all gone. I had one of the vanilla shorty ones and thought it was delicious!!!! Babycakes gets my vote! I would highly recommend them.

hey are very big but most people took some home which left none at the wedding, so you know it was good. Tania is great, but the people who work at the shop sometimes have no idea whats goin on with the wedding stuff, so make sure you keep in contact with tania throughout the time.
