Love Bacchus enough to write this review TWICE because the Knot didn’t save my first draft!!! 10000/10 would reccomend! From the service provided (shout out to Meryl and Kaz), to the food (they’re a restaurant after all), to the overall vibes (cute sunny day and cute nights at night in a garden themed place THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU!
We got married 8/29/25 and from the first inquiry Meryl and staff were so responsive with our questions. We had a wedding planner of our own that was hired before deciding on Bacchus when we wanted something bigger but honestly we could have probably handled our wedding with just Meryl assisting alone. She’s got tons of experience from all the weddings Bacchus has handled over the years and it shows! You also can’t beat the recommendations she’s provided on what she’s seen work first-hand.
Price point — we looked at a few restaurants in the area to cut costs on table/linen/cutlery rentals and honestly you can’t beat the price we got. Our wedding planner was SHOOK at what a good deal we got and made it a point to say she’s shocked at the level of service they gave for how much we paid. Most of the places nearby were charging maybe equivalent prices for family style pastas vs Bacchus offering a full plated dinner. Just FYI their all-inclusive drinks are only for wine/beer. My husband and I aren’t big drinkers and at the time we were allowed to bring in our on alcohol which Bacchus was happy to help mix for us. This kept our cost of alcohol down and also helped us curated a more personalized drink list (win-win!)
Food 1000/10. We actually have been to Bacchus quite a few times even before to check out the vibes and food never disappoints. I’ve been to Paris before (and idk what it is but I think it’s better than the places I’ve had there LOL). Whether you decide to have your wedding here or not you deffinitely have to drop by for a bite! Their steaks (especially their Iberica steak), salads, and bread and butter all DELICIOUS. Wedding food isn’t always good but where Bacchus shines is that they’re a well-run established restaurant so they’re able to handle the volume without compromising the quality or how YUMMY the food is. Multiple people told us it was the best wedding food they’ve had before.
Accomodations — they’re open for brunch on weekends but we had a Friday wedding and they were able to accommodate us to get ready at the restaurant. Meryl also let us borrow their projector for a little fun Kahoot game during cocktail hour! Like I said above they also mixed our drinks and provided general mixers. We’re Asian and wanted a Yakult Soju drink that they were able to mix with ease and it was a hit! Some previous couples also must have left behind the the lanterns/linens but they put them up for us and also (without us asking) also put in some small candle votives which looked so good at night.
Vibe check/Space — 100/10 everyone was so nice and professional. Everyone loved the ceremony with the bubbles (high key love the way it turned out in the garden). The night with the lights (chefs kiss). I will admit there was a little bit hiccup with my family drama but Meryl/staff handled it so professionally, super grateful! We had about 108 guests — maybe a little tight for the ceremony but our DJ took up a lot of space). We all fit in both gardens with room to spare! They were very accomodating with last minute addons too! We were able to also fit in a photo booth!
Overall — LOVE! You won’t regret it!

I cannot speak more highly about my experience of hosting my wedding celebration at Bacchus. Before I can say anything else, I must praise Meryl for her absolute rockstar abilities...
. She has the whole process down to a perfect science (while still making everything feel so special and individualized). She had immediate answers and solutions to any questions or concerns. The flow of the day was natural and seamless. The Bacchus staff was all wonderful, kind, and efficient. The food was amazing and all of the guests have commented on how delicious everything was. The space itself is so quaint and charming. The garden space really sold us on the venue, as being outside was something very important to us. We were able to fit an 9-piece band and still have some space for dancing (we had 80 guests). I could go on and on but all in all, this is the perfect venue for an intimate wedding with so much value.

ponsive and most of all… it included everything one would need (linens, silverware, etc.) within the very affordable and fair price.
Meryl and Bruno were amazing hosts and ran an incredibly smooth show. One example of this was that it was raining and they waited until the last minute before setting up to see if it would let us so we could all eat outside. It did and it was beautifully decorated. Food was absolutely killer. Francois the bartender could not have been cooler and more chill.
Genuinely 10/10. This place is an absolute gem run by wonderful people.

d so seamlessly. I hadn’t been to many venues that had dancing exclusively post dinner so I was worried but it couldn’t have worked out better. They were also so accommodating - most of our food was made to be gluten free as I have celiac and wanted a gluten free wedding and it was so good!!! My husband and I were going back and forth over having a full wedding or not but Bacchus made this day unforgettable and I have zero regrets.

Likewise, Meryl and her staff were responsive, kind, understanding, and patient with our persistent communication and innumerable questions. Holding to French tradition - they offered incomparable food and drink options, including options for vegan guests, and offered a variety of ways to reach the food and beverage minimum, like additional desserts and wine pairings.
On our wedding day, Meryl and her team were at our sides when we needed them and taking care of everything else such as setting up our unconventional guest book, and ensuring that we kept on pace with our wedding day schedule so we didn’t worry about it.
Bacchus Bistro offers unparalleled value, incredible familial service, and a neighborhood or backyard ambiance that made it an easy choice for my wife and I. Their food and drinks are truly incredible, change seasonally, and will always leave you dreaming for the next time you can return.
We have a special place in our hearts for Bacchus. So much so that when we returned a year later to celebrate our anniversary, Meryl and Francois greeted us by name, wished us a happy anniversary, and helped us to celebrate even while they were hosting another wedding.

Bacchus truly has it all — a magical indoor and outdoor space with plenty of nooks and crannies for guests to choose-their-own adventure, from intimate conversations to tearing up the dance floor (which was packed the entire time). Our ceremony had a lot of specific needs and Meryl accommodated them all without batting an eye. The food and drinks were fabulous: we had Indian appetizers catered while Bacchus handled additional apps, mains, and desserts, all of which our guests are still raving about. We were a bit worried about having a beer-and-wine wedding, but they even allowed us to supply our own liquor and mixers so guests could enjoy 2 fully stocked bars all night (this saved us a fortune, even with top-shelf everything.)
A few tips for future Bacchus brides/grooms/spouses-to-be: dim the lights in the side rooms to preserve the ambiance, opt for passed-desserts so no one misses out on that crème brûlée, and use that gorgeous tree in the garden as your arch/alter/mandap/chuppah/what have you. You won't regret a thing.

A huge shoutout to Meryl, our main point of contact, who was incredible throughout the entire process. From the initial planning stages to day-of coordination, Meryl brought a calm, organized, and thoughtful presence that made all the difference. She was incredibly receptive to our ideas, even helping to incorporate a special cultural tradition of ours—having suckling pig at big events—into the menu. Her willingness to work with us and customize the experience to reflect our vision made the day feel even more personal and meaningful.

ery easy and straight-forward. The coordinator Meryl gave us a walk-thru of the space on our first visit and continued to communicate with us via email very promptly and thoroughly throughout the entire process.
We chose Bacchus because we wanted a restaurant that could accommodate a medium-sized party, and luckily for us they had availability and very reasonable rates for our winter wedding. We requested cocktail-style food service instead of sit-down dinner, and the food and wine selections were amazing. We especially enjoyed getting to sample all of the selections and wine pairings a few weeks before the wedding, and we felt that they truly catered to what we wanted. We utilized the backyard space for the ceremony and truly lucked out with it being an unexpectedly warm December day with lots of sunshine. We didn't need to bring in much decor because Bacchus already had such a lovely aesthetic throughout the restaurant. Being a couple who wanted a low-fuss, simple, all-in-one place experience for our wedding, Bacchus provided the perfect vibe with a focus on great food, wine, and a beautiful environment for our guests to mingle freely.
Day of Meryl and the staff assembled flower vases and provided candles, tablecloths, etc. They were even able to accommodate our request to start at 3pm even though it was between their brunch and dinner service, and they moved swiftly to arrange everything very seamlessly in time for the wedding to start. Our guests all had wonderful things to say about the service throughout the entire event.
Our wedding experience at Bacchus was exactly what we were looking for, and we look forward to dining there for years to come.

anning period was around 6-7 months, and the whole process was fairly easy and low-key. I researched other restaurants/venues in Brooklyn, and it was the most affordable/had the best value out of all the options we looked into.
We met with Meryl (the Bacchus coordinator) a few times and she was great to work with. We went in for a tasting, and the food was incredible.
On the day of, the weather was unexpectedly awful and extremely windy, and Meryl and the Bacchus crew were able to seamlessly adjust the seating last minute.
The venue itself is lovely, so we didn't have to do much for decorations and just ordered flowers for the tables. The wine bar section just got renovated literally a day or two before our wedding - and it was beautiful!
We highly recommend Bacchus as a wedding venue!

We couldn't have dreamed a better place to get married. We, big-event neophytes with questionable abilities, were in such good hands with Meryl, who was calm, kind, knowledgeable, ...
flexible, and responsive as the wedding took shape over time. She was an enormous help—she put us in contact with all kinds of vendors (flowers, photographer), she helped us with the seating, the menu, the printing of table lists, etc etc etc, all those things you do not (I hope) think of when you propose to each other.
The space? Beautiful, spacious, flexible in all weathers. For us it drizzled; it did not matter. The awnings are great and create an intimate vibe. Didn't even notice them. The space is flexible, has a lot of room for different permutations.
The service? Perfect! Meryl and the team made everyone feel at home. Khaza, wine master and charmer, was a delight to work with.
The food? Fabulous. Everyone loved it, said it was among the better wedding food they'd ever had. People keep talking about it. Trust Guillaume. He is the real deal.

sues. It turned out to be the best decision we could have made. Our wedding, on a Friday during the day, for around 75 people, was such a lovely experience.
Even though we were working with a deadline of less than two months (!!) everything turned out perfectly, if not better than expected.
Meryl, the events manager, is incredible. She jumped on everything immediately -- providing a contract, menu options, seating chart information. The whole planning process was so easy and seamless. She and her staff have thought of everything already, so all we had to do was communicate our preferences.
Some of our event required a little prep onsite the day before (we had a freestanding chuppah that needed to be set up and decorated), and not only did they accommodate us being there the day before to do that, the staff moved the structure the morning of the ceremony and accommodated storage during the remainder of the event. I ordered bulk flowers for delivery the day before and the staff prepared them and supplied the bud vases for the table, saving my friend and me lots of time. Sound system is great, including an available mic for the ceremony and speeches. While a DJ is always nice, it doesn't feel necessary at this venue if you prepare a great playlist. Meryl will make sure the music is timed as it should be.
The setup for the ceremony is just so stunning with the cafe chairs, greenery and string lights.
The food is really excellent. I don't know how their kitchen manages to get out a perfectly timed, muti-course, high-quality meal to so many people. It is really impressive and our guests couldn't stop raving about the food.
I think Bacchus is so great for weddings because of the professional dedicated staff, but also, because they have smartly set up their restaurant and outdoor spaces with ample flexibility that allows couples to personalize their event without working too hard to do so.
Anyone looking for an intimate, elegant, delicious, affordable, and beautiful wedding in Brooklyn need not look any further. I wish I could do it all over again! Thanks again to Meryl and her staff, for one of the best days of my life!

minimal decor needed), the food was delicious, and it is reasonably priced. Although we don’t live in New York and were planning from a distance, Meryl made the process easy - she was responsive to emails / phone calls, suggested vendors we could use, and proposed several options for seating arrangements, weather accommodations, dietary restrictions, etc.
On the day of the wedding, the staff was very professional and made everyone feel welcome. Bacchus holds many weddings throughout the year, but they made the day feel special and important to us.
Several guests who live in the NY / NJ area told us later about how much they enjoyed the food and the space (eg, the indoor/outdoor feel, the expansive seating areas) and commented that it was a hidden gem.
It was the most wonderful day, in large part thanks to Bacchus.

tive to the ideas we had and had a lot of practical suggestions herself. Conversations with her were comfortable and gave us so much confidence; her expertise was clear. She coordinated with all of our vendors seamlessly and ran the day of events smoothly. We had some last-minute weather concerns. Meryl and her whole team were extremely flexible and able to adjust on the fly such that none of our guests realized we were operating with a backup plan. The food and wine at Bacchus is great. We got a lot of compliments from our friends and family. The process for selecting our menu/wine was easy. While they do not serve liquor at Bacchus, they did allow us to bring our own. The venue itself is beautiful. Due to rain, we weren’t able to use the front garden for dinner, but we were still able to get married under their tree.

really get a good bang for your buck! We rented the entire restaurant out for our ceremony and reception. We had 100 guests with a live band. Bacchus is such a beautiful space on its own - we provided a minimal amount of flowers but we didn’t need much else as it shines on its own! Meryl was so helpful leading up to the wedding, and day of was a huge assist. There was a slight chance of rain, but she helped arrange the seating so that everyone could still be in the same area. She even helped me zipper my outfit at one point! The food was incredible - many people told me it was the best food at a wedding they’ve ever had! The service was impeccable, too - the servers moved seamlessly in and out during speeches and no one’s wine glass was ever empty! The reception after dinner was a blast - it felt like a fun, intimate house party. The only bummer was that the night ended! I would highly recommend hosting any event here.

We had about 50 of our closest family and friends join us for a beautiful ceremony outside under their tree, cocktail hour was also outside, while they set up dinner in the partially covered back garden. I am so thrilled we landed at Bacchus for our wedding. Not only is the space beautiful inside and out, but the food and wine was amazing and the restaurant manager Meryl was fantastic to work with. So accommodating and responsive, and literally helped me plan how the night should go since I had never done this before! We live and work in Brooklyn, and so it was important for us for our wedding to be local. Set in a really nice neighborhood and accessible to hotels and subways, Bacchus is the perfect venue!

ul space, savory food, or how intimate the event felt. The celebration went off without a hitch, due in large part to Bacchus’ event coordinator, Meryl, and her team. From the beginning, when we first inquired about holding the event at Bacchus, Meryl was extremely responsive. During the first meeting, she walked us through the restaurant, including the interior wine bar and two outdoor courtyards, described how the event could be set up, and answered all our questions. We stayed in close touch in the months leading up to the wedding to plan all the details and Meryl invited us to Bacchus for a wine and food tasting before finalizing the menu. Although we were already excited for the celebration based on the outdoor space and how easy Meryl made the planning, the food was the real clincher. We’ve attended far too many weddings with overcooked steak and lackluster fish entrees, but Bacchus’ chef showed that would not be the case with our celebration.
When the wedding day arrived, we luckily had a sunny day (though Meryl assured us there would be outdoor coverage and more interior space in case of rain). In total, we had about 100 guests. Since we legally married at the courthouse the day prior, we launched straight into the celebration. We first hosted a cocktail hour in the wine bar with passed hors d’oeuvres, before everyone sat down in the courtyards for a four-course dinner. After that, we brought in a DJ for dancing inside the restaurant. Meryl helped coordinate the night perfectly; she was seamless in switching our music playlists during cocktail hour and dinner, providing a microphone set-up and accommodating time for speeches, and making sure that her staff were attentive throughout the entire evening. She decorated the restaurant and tables beautifully and even set up pictures, plants, and other décor and items like gift boxes that we had dropped off the day before. The four-course meal tasted just as great as it did during our tasting and received high compliments all around (the escargot, butternut squash tortellini, and steak with wild mushrooms were to die for). Meryl also ensured that the kitchen was able to provide kids meals for the few little ones that we had in attendance. The staff were diligent in making drinks and filling wine glasses and, overall, provided excellent service. We truly had the perfect, memorable evening for our magical occasion. For that reason, we would 100% recommend Bacchus for a wedding or event without any reservations.

e that felt "us," until one night we walked past Bacchus and saw a wedding was taking place in the beautiful back garden. My then-fiancé and I had the same thought at the same time, so we did our research and set up time with Meryl. We immediately knew we'd be in good hands. The entire Bacchus team is wonderful -- friendly, accommodating and responsive. They have you do your tasting BEFORE you sign the contract - because they are one of the few venues that take pride in their food. Tom and I had eaten so many lackluster wedding meals, so this was important to us and they delivered. Countless guests told us it was the best wedding meal they've ever had. The location was beautiful -- allowing us to have our dream "backyard wedding in Brooklyn". It's a hidden oasis, glowing with fairy lights and the gorgeous tree that's the focal point of the garden. We were able to comfortably fit all 120 of our guests in the 2 adjacent gardens for both the seated ceremony and dinner. Then we migrated into the restaurant for our reception/dance party. Bacchus let us stay dancing until 1am! It really was the perfect night, made so special because of the Bacchus staff. If you want proof of the staff's excellence, ask to borrow my wedding videos -- subtly in the background, you'll see Meryl and Alvaro swooping in to ensure our day was perfect: fluffing the train on my dress as I walked by, adjusting a tree branch to not interfere with our best man's head, keeping the wine glasses full. from our attendees. Our guests were of many different nationality (and sense of taste) but it seems they were all satisfied.
Meryl considered our budget and was able to understand what our vision was for our special day. On the day of the wedding, the team helped to decorate. We brought our own large photo frames and they hanged it nicely without us asking to do so.
They also provided a tripod easel to hold one of our frame for our polaroid films when we forgot to bring one. Meryl nicely sprinkled flower pedals for the ceremony at the right time. She was of great help to the entire logistics during the ceremony.
When we had some leftover wedding cake, the team- unprompted- cut the rest and packed it up for guests to take it back home. We thought it was a thoughtful gesture.
Compared to other venues we approached, Meryl and the rest of the Bacchus staff are super flexible and very detail oriented. If you care about wine and food and If you want the intimate yet fun and beautiful Brooklyn wedding, this is the perfect venue.

Meryl and Alvaro are a dream team that took care of every single detail from the moment we decided to have our wedding at Bacchus up until the day after the wedding when we picked up our leftover decorations. Bacchus is an amazing venue at a great value and exactly what we wanted for our wedding – an intimate (55 people) and personal backyard garden ceremony, a dinner-focused celebration with high quality food, and a perfect space to dance the night away. The food is beyond delicious and beautifully presented. The garden space is flawlessly set up for a cozy and intimate ceremony and reception. We were also able to reserve a room inside the restaurant attached to the outdoor gardens for dancing which made everything flow seamlessly. As an added bonus Meryl went above and beyond in helping us coordinate the event. Meryl is extremely detail oriented and walked us through every step of the process. Along with Alvaro and the rest of the wonderful staff at Bacchus, they helped us plan and pull off a beautiful celebration. The staff are the best of the best and made our wedding unforgettable. We were looking for a venue in our neighborhood and didn't think we would be able to find anything in our price range. We feel like we found a hidden gem with Bacchus - it is a great value and exactly what we wanted in a wedding venue - a magical backyard garden ceremony, a dinner-focused celebration with top-quality food (some say it was the best wedding food they've ever had and we agree), and a laid-back space where we could pop on our playlist and (literally) dance the night away.
Meryl is an excellent coordinator, walking us through every step of the process and answering all of our questions. Along with Alvaro and the rest of the wonderful staff, she helped us plan and pull off a beautiful celebration. Our wedding size of just under 150 was quite large for the space, but Meryl and Alvaro configured the space beautifully so that it still felt intimate and incredibly special. Despite the large group, dinner flowed smoothly with food being served at the same time. The staff was professional and very sweet - they made our day so special!

Meryl, Alvaro, and the rest of the staff were so friendly and helpful, they took care of everything, including set up of all the beautiful decorations (that come included with the venue), the tent when it rained (the tent is also included), the music (we created a Spotify playlist and Meryl handled everything else). After deciding on Bacchus for our wedding we went there a lot over the next year—dinner, drinks, meeting our wedding vendors. The staff was always so lovely, warm, and accommodating. The food always so yummy.
Meryl is the best! She, Alvaro, and team are really on top of their game. You get early on that they are there to make your wedding day the wedding day you imagined. They are professional, flexible, and warm. We really felt they cared about us and what they were doing.
The space is beautiful. The tree in the garden with twinkle lights—stunning! The food—let’s just say Yum!

commodating. Don't get spooked if they're slow to respond to emails at first. When it came down to it, Meryl, Alvaro, and the rest of staff were totally on their game. I made changes to the menu and they made it work within my budget. They handled all of the set up and breakdown. They answered every one of my many questions. And the venue itself was absolutely for perfect for our wedding.
We had the space from 5-10pm on a Saturday. The ceremony was held beneath the big tree in the first garden, which was beautifully lit in the evening. The cocktail hour was in the wine bar and first garden. And we moved to the first and second gardens for dinner and dancing. We fit 98 people comfortably. And our guests raved about the ambience, food, and wine. Dinner took longer to serve than expected, so the Spotify playlists we planned for each part of the evening had to repeat. But I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who noticed. Everything else moved seamlessly. The staff even put food aside for me at the end of the night as I was too busy dancing and mingling to eat.
I'd highly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful, laid-back space.

Not only did Bacchus deliver on every promise, they exceeded our expectations every step of the way with their flexibility, their attention to detail, their kindness and professionalism, as well as their staff’s impeccable execution.
To share a little more color on how exceptional Bacchus was: (1) we and our guests left the reception convinced that we had the best meal we had ever eaten at a wedding, (2) upon arrival, the venue was absolutely beautiful and it was evident that Meryl and her team had taken care of every little detail, (3) we felt comfortable, taken care of, at ease and were able to enjoy the best moment of our lives without any concern, (4) from the beginning and leading up to the big day, Meryl was always thorough with her responses and generous with her time, and (5) since we got married we have recommended Bacchus to multiple friends for weddings, other celebrations or simply for a lovely meal.

g changes, and we appreciated that very much. We were looking for something intimate with great food and that would allow for good conversation. It was exactly what we wanted. The decor in the backyard was charming in itself, so we did not have to bring much.
Meryl and Alvaro were very responsive to our questions in the weeks that led up to our wedding. We met with them several times a couple weeks out from the wedding to go over the menu and logistics, and they met with our DJ as well. The staff were attentive to our needs and requests. They put us at ease. My husband and I created our itinerary, and it was fine with them.
As the night went on, Meryl and Alvaro were able to transition things flawlessly from one part of the night to the other. My family told me later that they staff were very friendly to them. The food was a hit and everyone raved about it. My only helpful critique would be that although we bought out the restaurant and backyard, we would have liked to have the adjoining bar room to ourselves, as soon as we arrived.

ing our wedding planning, Bacchus was an easy choice for our wedding venue. We loved that Bacchus was able to accommodate a smaller wedding (we had around 60 guests), we were also excited about the ability to have our ceremony and dinner reception in the back garden.
Throughout the year before our wedding, we were in constant contact with Meryl, an incredible person and resource, who really helped bring all of the details of our wedding together. We had a wonderful food tasting followed by an equally wonderful wine tasting a couple months before our wedding. Meryl stayed in constant contact with us throughout these months, ensuring that everything was coming together smoothly. As our wedding date approached and we had our last meeting at Bacchus we knew without a doubt that we were in incredibly great hands.
Our wedding day was beautiful and came together perfectly. This was largely due to Meryl and the incredible team at Bacchus. We received constant compliments throughout the evening on pretty much everything Bacchus had to offer including the passed hors d'oeuvre, entrees, wine and dessert. My husband created dinner and after dinner playlists and we were able to easily connect to the sound system at Bacchus, and the music during dinner sounded great. The garden is beautiful, so we did not really add much as far as decor, just simple centerpieces that we dropped off the night before and Meryl's team set up for us. At around 10 pm, our party transitioned inside to the wine bar where we were able to continue having a great time. The Bacchus team even brought in the remaining cupcakes on the cupcake tower for our guests to enjoy.
Wedding planning and staying on budget, especially in a place like NYC can be incredibly stressful. We are so glad we went with Bacchus as so much of that stress was alleviated. Their prices are more than fair considering the quality of food and elegance of the garden.
We continue to return to Bacchus for dinner and brunch, and can't wait to celebrate our 1st anniversary there.

idn't look like we were on a budget. Once we visited the restaurant, we completely fell in love with how beautiful it was. It's large backyard space which includes a tree that creates a gorgeous canopy was exactly what we were looking for. From that day on, Meryl took such great care of us. She answered all of our never ending questions and even provided wonderful recommendations for the florist, cake and photographer. During our visits, we met several couples who were celebrating their anniversary. They told us how perfect their Bacchus wedding was. They were sure ours would be just as special and they were right. We arrived at Bacchus the day before our wedding with all of the decor and provided instructions on how we wanted everything to be set up. When we arrived the following day, every looked exactly as we envisioned it. Meryl and her team did a fantastic job! The food was absolutely amazing and our guests kept commenting on how great the service was. Even though we had record breaking heat and Brooklyn's largest street fair was going on right outside the venue, everything was perfect. Bacchus is not your typical cookie-cutter wedding venue. It's special and intimate and we couldn't be happier with our choice to celebrate there.

n the area, it's extremely reasonable price-wise. There were no other venues that had a lovely garden that could seat such a large group of people.
They do a lot of events and run them like clockwork. Unfortunately, the night of our event it torrentially rained. When we arrived, the outdoor garden was completely covered and still looked beautiful, despite the horrible weather. The dinner was seamless in terms of everyone ordering, the food arriving on-time and accurately, wine service, everything.
They give you a pretty vast choice in terms of what you can put on the menu, so I would recommend eating here a few times to try the different options out. We chose the branzino, gnocchi and half-chicken and everyone was raving about the food. The food was way better than the food at our actual wedding, which wasn't bad.
If we didn't want to have a band and 100+ people at our wedding, I honestly would have considered having our actual wedding at Bacchus. When we were trying out the food, we were there one night when one was going on and it looked lovely!

The restaurant (and the garden, where we had our ceremony and reception) is an absolutely gorgeous venue, and we lucked out with perfect weather so we were really able to enjoy the outdoor space to the fullest extent. We chose not to have an outside coordinator since Meryl was very accommodating to any decorations and specific events we asked for, and gave her detailed instructions for our music, flower arrangements, table setups, ceremony, and overall timeline. The setup looked gorgeous when we walked in and was exactly as we had asked. We were also able to do things such as bring in an outside wedding cake at no extra charge, making it easy to customize the day exactly as we wanted. We got nothing but rave reviews from our guests all day and they have continued to roll in since the event, and I know we will always remember this amazing day in large part because of how fantastic the entire staff was. The food service was amazingly quick considering that we had over 70 guests, and they were friendly, accommodating, and beyond wonderful (as they are during regular dinner service as well!). They could charge double for their services and it would still be an amazing value! I cannot recommend them highly enough, and they will do everything they can to help you have a wedding exactly the way you imagine.
