Out of all our wedding vendors, this band was the most expensive and the one we were least happy with. They were good but not great. We have very generic taste in music but reall...y wanted a big dance party for the reception. We sent them a list of songs after we booked them and they confirmed they knew all the songs. I figured we might not hear all of them but we would hear most. I had also put in two specific songs, one requested by my mom and my husband's favorite song, and I told the band why. The band basically played two sets because they took a break in between them, which was expected. During the first set, we heard almost none of the songs we had asked for - and the songs they did play were songs we were not excited about. Very strange choices in my opinion, such as "Blister in the Sun," which I've never heard at another wedding. There were a few others that I'm blanking on now, but my point overall is that there was not one song that they played that we hadn't requested that we were happy to hear. And there were tons of songs or artists who we asked to hear (e.g., Justin Bieber, Bruce Springsteen, Britney Spears) who we didn't hear. They also didn't play my husband's favorite song, even though we had specified that if they didn't know how to play it, just to put it on the playlist for their break (they didn't). All my friends knew how badly I wanted dancing at the wedding, so several of them were good sports and danced with me for most of the reception, regardless of whether I was unhappy with the song choices, so there was dancing, but definitely not as much as I hoped for. My mom also commented during the reception on how the dance floor was emptier than she expected. They did a great job playing the songs they played, but I was very disappointed with their song selection. Ultimately if they knew how to play the music we wanted to hear, it's very disappointing that they chose to play other songs which weren't aligned to our or our guests' musical tastes such that the dance floor wasn't full.
