Katy was an absolute dream to work with and I will recommend her to everyone I know! She brought my wedding vision to life with the most stunning, bright flowers that completely transformed our venue. I was in awe when I walked in—everything was more beautiful than I imagined. Guests are still talking about how gorgeous the flowers were! Katy made the entire process feel easy and fun. She met with me in person, sent a detailed questionnaire to understand my vision, and kept me in the loop with texts and photos as she picked up blooms from her growers. Her communication truly set me at ease, especially in the final days leading up to the wedding. She even sourced the perfect compotes, vases, and stands to complete the look. One of my favorite moments was when the peony in my bouquet opened up right as our ceremony began—perfectly timed by Katy, of course! I can’t recommend Back Porch Petals enough.

When I tell you Katy was amazing, I mean it!!! From start to finish, Katy was on top of things. We had an initial meeting where we discussed the floral vibes I was going for and she even provided a Proposal document containing floral inspo pictures, price breakdown, logistics. It was so helpful to have this admits the wedding planning. When it came to the big day, oh my goodness. The florals were INSANELY beautiful. She 100% made my vision come to live through the autumn jewel tone flowers. It was stunning and I heard so many compliments throughout the wedding night. I highly recommend working with Katy at Back Porch Petals!!!

We used Katy from Back Porch Petals for our wedding flowers and she blew it out of the water!!! She arranged, delivered, and set up my bridal bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, centerpieces (table runners of eucalyptus and babies breath with scattered bud vases with white roses), and 2 altar arrangements. We could not be any happier with absolutely all of it!! I got so many compliments on the florals all night and how great the reception smelled because of the florals and eucalyptus. Additionally, Katy was awesome to work with. She was very sweet, prompt with responses, and she put so much time and consideration into her quote presentations; I could immediately tell we chose the right small business to work with when we first inquired with her. 10/10 recommend Back Porch Petals!!!

Katy did my son’s summer wedding and since my daughter in law let me join in on the flower selections, I got to see the process beginning to end. From the consultation, to the written proposal and beautiful execution, Katy was thorough, detailed and extremely professional. She even helped the bride with suggestions to make her vision come to life. Katy will be my go to for flowers for any event in the future! Her arrangements are stunning!

I cannot say enough positive things about back porch petals! They were a referral from my sister in law and after seeing some of the work Katy has done I knew she was perfect for our wedding . We had a fall( October 2024) and she came through on my moody jewel tone vibe I wanted. She took her time to make sure she did it the way I wanted and found ways to meet my budget too! She was so professional and on time with delivery the day of the event. Everyone loved the flowers !! You will not be disappointed in her for your occasion !

Katy did such an amazing job on my wedding flowers. Everything came together perfectly and she offered great suggestions and insight based on the color scheme, venue, and season. She communicated with us every step of the way. She was very flexible when it came to budgeting and offered choices with a clear quote so there were no surprises. Overall, we could not have been happier with how everything turned out! I felt like my flowers were unique, fresh, and beautiful.

Katy made the floral planning part of my wedding seamless and easy! She was very responsive and always answered any questions I had. She was able to help me bring my floral vision to life and give me ideas as we went along. Guests could not stop talking about the flowers at my wedding and neither could I, and the fact that she grows a lot of her own flowers is a huge plus! Cannot recommend her enough!!

I cannot say enough about Katy and Back Porch Petals. The flowers were the star of our October wedding!
When I first met with Katy earlier in the year, I showed her one floral photo that was inspiration for my entire wedding. She took that photo and ran with it--and ABSOLUTELY knocked it out of the park.
From my bouquet, to the table arrangements, to the boutonnieres, everything was lovely. All of our guests though so, too!
Would not hesitate to recommend Katy or her work to any soon to be brides (or other locals just looking for some flowers to brighten their day!)

Katy did a phenomenal job for a very reasonable price. I hired her for a rehearsal dinner, but she also did the wedding flowers. Both were just beautiful! Delivered on her promises and then some! You won’t go wrong with hiring her!
