John Reese and his band did an amazing job at our daughter’s wedding. He played jazz during the cocktail hour followed by dance music for the remainder of the evening. He ran the entire reception with professionalism. And he made it really fun! We could have listened to jazz all night long! The percussion and vocals were outstanding! If he’s available BOOK HIM! He will make your occasional extra special!

Backbeat was one of the best parts of our wedding experience! From the excitement we all shared when we initially asked them to play, the kindness they showed the days prior and the day of, the support of all of our decisions, all of the preparation that I know went into the performance, and - most importantly for us -the pure joy they exuded during the entire reception that was contagious. We couldn’t have been happier.
We chose a somewhat untraditional song for our first dance, and they were more than willing and excited to play it. It’s a memory we surely will never forget! They did a beautiful job and truly played the best playlist. Our wedding was the week before Christmas, and countless guests that attended have since told us that Backbeat created the warmest and happiest environment, and we could not agree more.

If you are looking for a live wedding band for your big day, Backbeat is absolutely the way to go! From the minute they were hired, we were treated as though they had no other clients.....which we knew was not true! They were always available to answer questions, provide input, and work with us to make our musical dreams a reality. Planning a wedding is stressful, but they made planning the music a breeze! From providing background music during dinner service, to playing our song for our first dance, their professionalism and musical talent was clearly evident. Throughout the evening, they provided a fun and inclusive atmosphere that kept our guests on the dance floor having a great time. I can confidently say our wedding would not have been as much fun without them. We were so impressed with them that we have hired them to play at other events as well. I have no hesitations in recommending them, I know you will not be disappointed.

Every chance I get to hear this band I try to go! They are so talented and each musician seems to inspire each other to be the best!
They are fun too! Great interaction with the audience. I highly recommend this band for any venue they are phenomenal!

Backbeat is a must have for your wedding reception! Each member of the band is extremely talented and they cover a great variety of songs and genres. The band has fun playing and that sets the perfect tone for a party of any kind. Most importantly, they keep everybody on the dance floor all night!

I have known this band for about 10 years now. They played at both my kids' weddings. Everybody loved them both times! Way better than a DJ ever would be. All professional musicians so they are extremely talented, easy to work with and sound exceptional. You won't be disappointed having back beat play for your party, especially weddings. Every time I see them, the dance floor is packed all night.
