The Backcountry Winery began when the Gable family finally realized their dream of opening their own winery. As high school sweethearts, this couple decided to leave the 9 to 5 behind and create their own business focused on their passion for viticulture. Purchasing a century-old barn in 2014, they worked tirelessly, day and night, to create a rejuvenated event space that was uniquely their own. Now, this winery stands as a testament to their hard work, offering an elegant, open space for weddings, ceremonies, and other celebrations. It regularly hosts concerts, events, and private parties, supplying their own delicious wines to guests from the winery right downstairs. In the barn, sitting above the winery, is the main Backcountry Winery event space. This loft, with its high ceilings and historic charm, fits up to 150 guests for an elegant banquet. Ceremonies can also be held in the loft or outside in the scenic grounds of the estate. Couples are welcome to wander through the on-site vineyard, a relaxing space filled with fantastic photo opportunities. Get-ready rooms are also present, ensuring that you have the time and privacy to look your best on your special day. The Backcountry Winery welcomes couples to invite their own vendors to this venue, allowing them to make it truly their own for their special day. Rental of this space includes tables and chairs, black linens, a sound system, projector, and full bar service for your celebration. All types of caterer are welcome to this venue, from food trucks to five-star chefs. This space is also available for rent for rehearsals, showers, and bachelor/bachelorette parties, making it a versatile venue that can cater to any event.
