Nino is the best! I knew right from the start that I wanted to book Backyard Garden for our Wedding based on other weddings I had been to and known he was the florist. He worked with our budget and offers so many awesome suggestions to make your vision come to life. I could not have been happier with the way everything turned out. We used a combination of floral and rentals that he has - such as candelabras for some of our centerpieces and they were stunning. Just the perfect combination of dramatic and elegant. You will NOT be disappointed with his work. We got so many compliments!

If you would have told me in the beginning of the wedding planning process that I would be the most excited about the flowers, I would have thought you were insane! I have never been the girl who could get thrilled about flowers, but after my first meeting with Backyard Garden Florist I suddenly became a flower enthusiast. They understood my vision immediately, worked with my Pinterest board and were genuinely caring and incredibly attentive to detail. Not only did they do an incredible job above and beyond what I imagined on the centerpieces, arrangements and bouquets, they worked within the budget I had set and were politely realistic every step of the way. Furthermore, every other vendor I worked with suggested them as a florist as they had said they had never seen them do a bad job. Nino did a perfect job of matching the color pallet and style that I wanted for my wedding in Cazenovia. I gave him pictures of the colors that my bridal party would be wearing, and a few examples of bouquet styles that I like, and he made it all work perfectly! I could not believe how well the colors matched, and how much the atmosphere and style were exactly how I wanted them. He knew my caterer already and worked together with her to get everything set up, and I didn't have to worry about a single thing. Thanks, Nino!

Michele and the rest of the staff at backyard gardens went above and beyond to make our flowers beautiful. From the first planning meeting to the wedding day they were always there to answer all of my questions promptly as well as adjust my order whenever I asked with no trouble. Everything was exactly as I pictured and the rental process went smoothly. I would highly suggest them to anyone looking for a wonderful product with exceptional reliable service.

Nino is HANDS DOWN the best! Our flowers were absolutely stunning. We had our appointment with him and worried about nothing. He listened to what we wanted and he delivered! I would highly recommend this florist to anyone! You'd be wasting your money to go anywhere else!

Nino and his crew did a fantastic job with my flowers for my wedding! During my planning process he was extremely helpful with picking out flowers to create the exact look I wanted. He was also very quick to respond anytime I contacted him. On my wedding day, he went above and beyond helping to make sure all the flowers were perfect and the people situated appropriately. Highly recommend!

I had very simple centerpieces alternating high and low and they were amazing. We were complimented on the bouquets all night long. Everything was delivered on time and the flowers lasted two weeks after the wedding in the vases all around our house!

I worked directly with Nino at Backyard Garden for my mom's wedding, and I'm beyond pleased and impressed with his work. When our flowers were delivered on the wedding day, they actually brought tears to my mom's eyes, and this was a woman who almost didn't even want flowers! However, I'm a bit more picky, and had a pretty distinct image in my head of what I knew my mom would like. But as much as I knew what we wanted, it was still difficult to communicate the exact picture in my head. But after a conversation with Nino, he knew exactly what I wanted, and on the wedding day, the picture in my head was brought to life exactly as we all envisioned. He even added some lovely details to the bouquet wrapping that just made us all go "awwwww!" One of the reasons we hired Nino was because he has a great design aesthetic and a knack for garden-y and ethereal flowers, which was what we were going for. He's so talented, easy to talk to, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone. I also found his prices to be very fair and he was SO fast with email, which was always reassuring. Everyone at the wedding was complimenting our bouquets saying they were the most beautiful they'd ever seen. I must say, I agree :)

Nino did an awesome job! I had a 1920s themed wedding and he nailed it! It was exactly what I envisioned and described during our consultation, and it came to life! My bouquet was amazing everyone was amazed by the creativity and uniqueness of it as well as how perfectly it fit the 1920s look I was going for! The guys boutineers were awesome and the corsages. We also has one large arrangment on the place card table that was a definate statement. Nino was awesome to work with, and was so much fun at the church personally delivering all the flowers!

I know nothing about flowers, but after a conversation with Nino he was able to bring my vision into reality. He created a wonderful array of bouquets and corsages and centerpieces that complemented each other in perfect harmony without being horrendously matchy-matchy. This florist will take your wedding flowers from an after-thought to art.

I wasn't sure how the flowers I ordered was going to turn out based on what I chose but they came out beautiful!!! I was so happy and they were EXACTLY what I wanted!

Nino (the owner) was impressive right from the start. He provided us with many options to review during our first meeting. His ideas were very unique and creative. I loved that he was able to create such colorful, original bouquets. His prices were extremely reasonable. He also helped to pick out a flower for my hair that lasted for the entire day and evening.

Our flowers were just gorgeous! The bouquets were just as I had requested and even more beautiful than I had imagined! My favorite touches were the flowers on the pews, white lilies and a simple navy ribbon- just stunning.

I was not happy with how my flowers turned out at all! I gave plenty of information and pictures on what I wanted, and it was not followed. I had no way to know until an hour before the ceremony started and it could not be fixed. I paid enough for my bouquets and boutonnieres together to have done the whole ceremony and reception. Wasn't worth it.

loved all of his suggestions - rented wrought iron tree centerpieces and alternated with love pave settings of the same flower. bouquets were beautiful as were all the attendant flowers. went the extra mile to make everything feel really custom

I went to a few different florists before I found The Backyard Garden... all of which told me what I wanted was impossible. I showed them a few pictures and they did exactly what I wanted. I had a beautiful bouquet and my bridesmaid's bouquets were even better!

We had the pleasure of having Nino provide the flowers for our wedding. I had a variety of different floral decor, including rose petals for the aisle, 5 bridesmaids bouquets of blue hydrangea, a mixed wildlflower bouquet for me, boutonierres for the groomsmen and dads, wristlet for my MIL, two large vases of flowers, and 16 centerpieces. Everything looked gorgeous! I was very impressed. He is very accommodating with what you want and very upfront about what will work and what won't. He's a true professional - just tell him what you want and let him run with it.

They arrived on time - and I was pleased with some of the flowers.;The florist never seemed that into our wedding or my ideas - it definitely seemed like a chore for him. I had to meet with him twice because after the first meeting he took very little notes and didn't get much of what I wanted down. It took him months to send me a contract. Some of the flowers were great others were not what we discussed at all. Some of the colors were not what I had requested/hoped for. I had asked for bright colors and all the corsages and some of the centerpieces were pastel.
