Badger Farms LLC was the perfect place for our wedding! Dave and Betsy were wonderful to work with! They took care of every detail and treated us like friends. Everything looked beautiful and ran smoothly. Our guests raved about the venue and remarked what a great time they had. So glad we booked Badger Farms.

Badger Farms did such an amazing job for our wedding! They went above and beyond to make our day perfect. The space is rustic and beautiful, the owners are absolutely amazing and so good and what they do! They helped alleviate SO much stress around planning and executing my wedding. I can't recommend Badger Farms enough!

My husband and I had our wedding at Badger Farms and loved it, we felt like we were throwing a party in our own home. We cannot sing their praises enough. Betsy and Dave, the owners, do more than any other venue owners do. This review is going to be long, but we want to make sure we highlight everything they did for us and all the amazing parts of Badger Farms! We had our wedding on a Sunday, so they allowed us to come in Saturday to get set up. We were able to completely set up the room that our dinner would be in. They provided all the tables, linens, dishes, silverware, and drinkware. One of the selling points of Badger Farms is how many decorations they have. Badger Farms keeps any decorations that a party leaves behind. All decorations are categorized, labeled, and stored. Betsy keeps a 5 page document of all of the items, their sizes, and colors. They have anything and everything you could ever want (jars, lights, votives, table runners, signs, baskets, etc.). The only items we opted to buy for our decorations were live flowers and a card box. Everything else we used was from Badger Farms. You have the option of having a ceremony indoors or outdoors. Both are incredibly beautiful. All of the indoor space is air conditioned, which is nice in the heat of summer. Another perk is that you are able to bring all your own food and drink. Your food has to be catered and you do have to have a bartender. This was great for us. My husband is a craft beer connoisseur, so we were able to bring all of our favorite brews. For our ceremony, Dave did the music (because he does a better job than the DJ’s) and Betsy helped with timing. During photos, Dave made sure to bring us a water and a beer to keep us hydrated. At the end of the night, he even called cabs for us. Our family and guests were incredibly impressed by the venue and Dave & Betsy. Perhaps the best aspect of Badger Farms is that at the end of the night, you can walk away. Dave & Betsy and the Badger Farms staff will clean everything up. All we had to do was return the next day to pick up leftover food and drink. This was incredible. Overall, our wedding at Badger Farms was amazing, both because of the beauty and uniqueness of the venue and all of the services Dave and Betsy provide. We travelled from Chicago just to get married at Badger Farms. We cannot recommend Dave and Betsy enough. They are incredible people. They have been doing weddings for years and truly love it. You will not regret checking them out!

Phenomenal venue, with even more phenomenal owners. Dave and Bets were such a big help in planning and making our big day go on without a hitch. Our guests had nothing but the best things to say about the spaces, both indoor and outdoor.

This place was perfect! We were married under a huge oak tree. Guest loved the deck for cocktail hour. The place comes with a basement full of decorations so I did not spend any money on centerpieces. The best part is you get the entire venue the day before to set up. Betsy and Dave were wonderful to work with. They are your wedding coordinator for the weekend. I saved so much time, and money! It was a stress free wedding. Book now! Seriously the best place to get married in Madison.

Badger Farms (and specifically Dave and Betsy) were AMAZING!!! It was the best decision to have our wedding there from the moment we contacted them. They were incredibly easy to work with, very knowledgeable and accommodating from when we were interested in the venue through cleaning up after our beautiful wedding day. They gave us the flexibility and had the resources to make our day perfect, even if the weather wasn't. Badger Farms is an absolutely gorgeous venue as is, and has countless options to personalize it. Dave and Betsy worked alongside us through the process and allowed us to be able to stand back on our wedding day and not have to worry about the little details; they went above and beyond to make sure that the day was exactly what we wanted!

We originally had planned to have a small family wedding and a larger party for extended family and relatives. After we looked at Badger Farms for the party we loved it so much we decided to have the wedding there! As beautiful as Badger Farms is, the owners - Dave and Betsy - really helped make it a special event for us and our guests. They had helpful suggestions all along the way and they and their staff were on site to make sure everything ran smoothly. I can recommend Badger Farms to you without hesitation if you're considering it for a party or special event.

Badger Farms is the best! The owners - Betsy and Dave - are very friendly and gave us lots of great ideas that we used to make our wedding day extra special. They also worked hard to help make sure that everything on the day of the wedding went smoothly. We felt comfortable and confident leading up to the wedding knowing that Dave and Betsy would be there to help. The barn and the grounds are a beautiful, scenic location. Dave and Betsy were a dream to work with on our wedding. They assisted us in preparing every detail, and they worked with their staff behind the scenes during the big day to ensure everything ran smoothly. Badger Farms was was beyond our expectations for an amazing wedding. Betsy and Dave are great to work with and the venue is gorgeous. They had a huge basement filled with decorations, lighting, vases, candles, etc. that can be used for free which was super useful. They are great about letting you come out to the venue whenever you want and we had all day the day before to set up and leave personal items there overnight so we didn't have to haul as much day-of. They also take down all decor, etc so your wedding party isn't doing the work. They were there whenever we needed anything and are very flexible with what we wanted to do, what vendors we could use, etc. They were amazing and we are so thrilled with how everything turned out!

My husband and I held our wedding reception here on June 13 of 2015. Betsy and Dave, the owners and operators, are absolutely outstanding. They were patient and friendly regarding every question. They never lost their cool when we needed something last-minute. In addition to being organized and professional, they genuinely wanted us to have a great event and a fun time. I'm so happy we were lucky enough to rent their space.

If you are looking for a low key, barn venue, with an amazing view and owners, without breaking your budget? Seriously stop looking! Betsy and Dave, the owners, are absolutely amazing. They are so helpful in helping you plan and coordinate. They provide all the decorations that you will ever need for your country/barn wedding. I highly highly recommend this venue! My now husband and I are from the Wisconsin/Illinois area but we live in Houston, TX. We saw pictures online and sent our deposit before we ever saw it in person. Betsy and Dave answered all of our questions and returned e-mails in such a timely manner. Best decision we ever made!

Badger Farms was the perfect barn setting for our wedding. We looked at several different places and kept returning to Badger Farms. It is beautiful! Also really well set up for weddings, as the reception for dinner is separate from the bar and dancing areas, so no need to move tables and chairs around. Betsy and Dave, the owners, are wonderful! Always happy to help and answer questions. They were very flexible and let us come out several times to hash idea out. Betsy also has a huge supply of decorations that she's been saving from every wedding she's done, so this helped us get ideas for how we wanted to do things, and saved us money! I would absolutely recommend Badger Farms - go check them out!

The owners, Dave and Betsy, were amazingly helpful. The venue is very pretty inside and out, and they have a storeroom filled with decorations that are free for you to use. We took full advantage of that! You can rent seating, tables, linens and other things from them for a very reasonable amount. Because there was not a wedding on the Friday before our wedding, we were able to go and get everything set up on Friday. The only things we really had to worry about on Saturday were things that I hadn't finished in time on Friday and the flowers. Our only complaint was that we had some unpleasant issues with the bartenders that they contract with and that you are required to use if you want to serve alcohol. However, it sounded like they might be switching bartenders. Overall, it is a lovely venue owned by people who do what they can to make you happy and your day great.

My Husband an I got married this November and it was beautiful. The owners are wonderful very nice country all in one location. How ever only down side was must use there bartender and have open bar or no bar very pricey

The barn is beautiful for your ceremony. We originally wanted to get married outside but due to weather we got married inside and it was beautiful. We got so comments on the unique space. We were not happy that we are charged 3 seating fees on a per person basis. One for ceremony seating, one for dinner seating, and then another for the dancing. Watch out your bill will add up quick. Also not a fan of the bartender requirement- you must use their bartender(with another per person set- up fee) and they say you can take home what is not used, the catch is only if it was not opened. Meaning if one soda or water out of a cased is used it's theirs! Watch out prices get out of control quick with the heavy handed pouring. Got my final bill on a post it note, they would never provide a contract prior to wedding and days before your stuck with a bill you did not expect or not able to budget for!

This was such a beautiful and unique place for our wedding. Dave & Betsy were very helpful and accommodating throughout, and spent so much time helping out with little details on our wedding day. They were so happy and friendly that it made everything that much easier.

Dave and Betsy were the most helpful and understanding people I worked with during my wedding planning! They truly helped make my day spectacular! For anyone looking to have a unique, simple, and FUN wedding? Badger Farms is the place for you!

Betsy and her husband run the farm. It's a working hay farm with a barn they rent out. The barn has old reclaimed barn wood inside making it look beautiful. They have lots of decorations left from other people's weddings and will let you use anything you want free of charge. They work really hard to make sure everything goes perfect. We probably didn't need wedding planners with Betsy there to help with everything. I would definitely get married there again.

Badger Farms was so accommodating to our needs. They let us come in any time the day before to decorate since they had no clients that day. We were allowed to bring in our own caterer. And, because they have such beautiful property, we were able to have the ceremony and reception in one place
