Bahia Corinthian Yacht Club

Even though this is a private club, they do outside parties also, and their rates are very reasonable. Their food is very good and the service is to make you happy. We checked several hotels in the area, and though they say their reception room rentals are free, the food pays for it - and more; but the rooms are blank cubes, and you have to decorate to make it pleasant. At BCYC, you have a view of Newport harbor, and can even mingle outside by the boats. Have your florist decorate the tables and your reception will look like a million bucks on the bay. Check them out and compare to a hotel.

The staff at BCYC was extremely helpful and made sure that our day went off without a hitch. They were very detail oriented and have a lot of experience hosting large high end events so a wedding is a simple task for them. This gave me confidence that they would have everything under control...which they did.

We are boaters so having sailboats go by at sunset was nice. The whole 'yacht club' feeling was nice.Being on the bay was important to us.;Arrange for lighting to be sure you have good ambiance. Demand that your food be HOT and ask for a tasting which they do NOT offer. Be sure your on-site coordinator STAYS for entire event.
