Bailey Arboretum is operated as a Non-Profit Organization which manages a 42 acre arboretum of rare and unique trees and a charming 18th century farmhouse. The former estate house of Frank Bailey called “Munnysunk” was originally built sometime in the 1800’s. After Frank purchased the property he hired Craig Severance to renovate it, keeping the country charm feel of this neocolonial home. Today, the Bailey House and its surrounding property is an intimate space to host wedding ceremonies and receptions of up to 100 guests.

Great venue, with beautiful grounds for pictures!

We found Bailey Arboretum in 2015 and immediately knew it was the place my husband and I wanted to get married. The new event planner, Lisa, took over a few months before our 2018 wedding, and was so patient, understanding, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Lisa made sure that our wish to be married under one of the giant redwoods was honored and she and the superintendent, Mike, we absolutely wonderful to work with. Lisa was quick to answer any questions we had leading up to the big day. On the day of our wedding, when our band started to play at the beginning of the reception, a fuse blew out and the band's PA system was out. Mike showed up to help literally in seconds to help! Everything was resolved quickly and professionally. If you are looking for a unique and beautiful venue that is different from a typical catering hall, we highly recommend Bailey Arboretum.

The grounds themselves were plentiful and beautiful and we knew it was the right venue for us when we visited. We looked at other places and nothing spoke to us as much as Bailey did. I will say that communication between ourselves and the venue had room for improvement. Many agreements seemed to have changed between the time we signed a contract and our wedding which we weren't informed of and were unfair as paying clients. We had a perfect day but it was frustrating during the planning phase.
