Having Bailey there to capture our wedding was a blessing! She knew exactly what we needed to do and did it with ease and comfort. As a bride who gets nervous easily, her demeanor was very comforting and I couldn’t ask for anything more! Beyond blessed to have her capture our wedding!!

Chelsea did our wedding photos-we only have the sneak peaks back, but they are incredible. Chelsea & Bailey Aro Photography were so great to work with & a great resource for planning , as well as keeping our night moving along.

There aren’t enough words to describe how lovely Bailey and her work are. We had a teeny wedding with 12 other people in attendance and not once did it feel uncomfortable or awkward that she was with us. It was the opposite really. She totally belonged with our little group. The photos are insanely beautiful. I cried when I looked through them the first time. She captured the spirit of our wedding day and our love so incredibly well. Her thoughtfulness, attention to detail, and love of pretty things made our experience seriously magical.

Bailey is extraordinary. She braved the polar temperatures for us to capture our winter wedding and the beauty of the season. Bailey was so incredibly wonderful! From start to finish she was so easy to work with along with being super organized. Her pictures were stunning. She really captures the candid moments between couples while keeping everything very natural. Nothing is too posed or cliche. She tailors every photo to you as a couple and it really shows in her work!

Our experience with Bailey was above and beyond. From the moment we met her we knew she was our match. We fell in love with her philosophy of wanting a marriage more beautiful than our wedding day. Bailey was our go to girl for just about everything throughout our planning process, thank god for bailey! Bailey Aro is an absolute treasure. Let’s start first with her product. She captured the love, joy, light, and happiness of mine and my husband’s relationship in a way that brought me to tears. We simply look at any one of the dozens of beautiful photos and it’s like she has captured 14 years of our history and summed it up in one gorgeous still. Bailey truly lives through her philosophy to “have a marriage more beautiful than your wedding” and was so much more to us than just a photographer or vendor. Among many things, she is a fielder-of-questions, a source of laughter (which was much needed to get my somewhat-shy husband to let loose), a shepherd to the masses during family photo time (NOT an easy task for our large groups), a fellow doting dog-mom (VERY important if you plan to include your pup; she’s a dog-whispering genius!) and truly, overall, an artist. I never once doubted that she would produce artistic, meaningful photos of the most important day of our lives thus far, and she delivered with thoughtfulness, professionalism, organization, and grace. We purchased Bailey's services for our engagement shoot and wedding and all I can say is WOW. Going into finding a photograph we wanted someone to capture "us" and not just our day but how that day felt. She truly is able capture the moment and emotion in her lense and there's no one better! I don't even know where to begin...It was a dream come true to have Bailey Aro capture our wedding day. I was in a wedding that Bailey shoot in 2012 and have been mesmerized by her photos ever since. Bailey showered us in personalized gifts for holidays, birthdays, and for just being the winners throughout the year. Bailey was beyond kind to us and spent a lot of time getting to know both me and my husband. Her sweet, genuine, down to earth, and fun-loving personality shines through in all of her pictures. When I look at my engagement and wedding pictures, I can see all the love and raw emotions that we were experiencing. Everyone that has looked at our pictures have made the comment, “Those pictures are so you”. This speaks volumes to Bailey’s talent and skills. As a fellow photographer I could go over the details. Like what a professional business person Bailey is. How pleasant she is to work with and how her images are beautiful. Yada yada, right? The fun part about Bailey is that she jumps IN with a bang. (A fun, glittery bang.) When we booked, she sent fun presents and a mini bottle of champagne in the mail. She takes charge without being pushy. She longs to spend time with kindred spirits and wants clients who really will let her do her magic and trust her totally. I hope I'd be correct in saying,(and hopefully not being too weird) if her business persona were a breakfast food, she would probably be a mimosa and a big, honking piece of cake. For breakfast. Because she's just awesome like that. With airy, filmy, nostalgic images and her love for laughing, details and like minded people, I think anyone who loves dogs, pine cones, little details and awesomeness would be over-the-moon-thrilled with her and her work. Because she doesn't leave you with just images, not just memories. She completely and wholly captured our day in a way that makes me cry, in a way I didn't think I could care about any images of my family. I can recount so many details of the wedding just by looking, I don't just recount the moment. I recall the emotion, the smell, the fog in the woods, the events before and after each image, when all of that could be so easily forgotten. Bailey was absolutely AMAZING to work with! She met us in our own backyard where we felt comfortable and got to be with our pup (side note: she came prepared with brew bites for our bulldog, best way to a dogs heart and to ensure cute pictures!) then we treked to our favorite hiking spot in Chester Bowl. Bailey gives just enough direction, making you feel comfortable, but still letting you be yourself! She captured who we are and got our sneak peek pics to us right away! Then we have our wedding day. BEST. DAY. EVER. Every moment that she captured was perfect. She has a great eye for detail, picking moments that were true to us! And let's just say that when your photographer runs ahead of the wedding party, goes to the third floor balcony of the reception venue, and gets the wedding party arrival moment from above, WOW! I was certainly nervous about the engagement/wedding photos. I wouldn't normally think of me and my husband as being super photogenic people. But Bailey brought out the best in us, we had a lot of fun and you can tell in the photos. I couldn't have been happier with how the photos turned out. I normally don't write reviews but my husband and I were so impressed with Bailey that I just had to. We explained that we absolutely loved her photography and really wanted to hire her. She was just a bit out of our price range but she was willing to work with us and create a package for us. We didn't do an engagement session beforehand so I was a little nervous about what to expect the day of the wedding since we hadn't worked together before. Everything went absolutely smoothly. Even my bridal party commented on how fun she was to work with. Oh and did I mention she traveled from Duluth to Taylor's Falls for us?? Bailey is the best and you will not regret choosing her at all!!

My fiancé and I worked with Bailey for our engagement photos, we had an amazing experience and the images we received are irreplaceable! Prior to our session I thought that an engagement session would be awkward and feel forced. This was not the case, Bailey is so friendly, fun and welcoming, it was easy to be ourselves around her. She wasn't just taking our pictures, she interacted with us and had us laughing the whole time. We had blast working with Bailey and more importantly, both my fiancé and I felt very comfortable with her. If you're from Duluth you know how variable the weather can be, no matter what season. Bailey not only anticipated the variable weather but was very flexible with it. On the day of our session the weather was predicted to be rainy, windy and cold. Bailey researched the forecast for the whole day, found the most optimal time to have our session (before the rain hit!) and rescheduled her whole day to make it work for us. Bailey is very personable, professional, experienced and fun. We are lovers of the outdoors and appreciated how she incorporates nature into her work. The images received not only are special to have but also are very true to who we are and are something we will treasure forever. We would highly recommend Bailey Aro Photography to anyone!

Bailey made our wedding day simply wonderful. She captured every single moment we wanted captured, and we ended up with some BEAUTIFUL prints and digital files from her. Because I am overweight and extremely self conscious, I despise having my picture taken. But there was not a single photograph that Bailey took of me on our wedding day that I could point out flaws with. My husband and I both looked amazing! Also, Bailey captures the natural beauty of people. None of that airbrushing a thigh gap here! She's a natural at catching moments as they happen, instead of staging them. I could go on and on, but I'll end with.. You would NEVER regret using Bailey Aro as your wedding photographer.. I know my husband and I don't!

Bailey is awesome. It was rainy and cold on Lake Superior's Northshore for our July wedding, but our photographs don't show it. They are dreamy and romantic just like our day. Bailey has it all - a fantastic demeanor, a bag of tricks for emergencies and an eye for beautiful. I could not recommend her enough. In fact, a year after our wedding we had her take new photos that included our baby daughter. Hire her, you won't regret it.

We did both our engagement and wedding photos with her, they were stunning! She knows how to capture all of the little details balanced with the magnitude of the occasion. The best part? Retouched, unmarked files on a snazzy jump drive that was speedily delivered to us.

Bailey was flexible when things changed the day of the wedding (like I decided to include my brother's gf in the family pictures and a good friend was able to come back from Africa and ended up being in some of the groomsmen pictures). Let me just say this- Bailey is very talented and that was why we wanted her from the beginning. The cost to have her will increase in the future once people realize her talent and worth. We were very happy with our images. They were definitely magazine cover worthy and will help us remember that amazing day forever. They were beautiful and creative without being forced. She is able to see how well everything goes together and just has an eye for color and background. I would definitely recommend that people use her if they want beautiful images. She is an artist to the core, but she is also a lovely person that was friendly, fun, and easy to get along with.
