Absolutely in love with this place!! The staff was so warm and inviting! They truly worked the whole day so hard to make sure our wedding was a fairy tale! They were so so kind and helped relieve the stress from our day! Not to mention the venue itself is even more stunning in person😍 I am still to this day receiving so many compliments about our day!

Bailey Farms was an amazing vendor to host our wedding! Not only is their staff incredible to work with and timely with responses, they have an absolutely fairytale wedding venue! Our October 26th wedding was complete perfection! I could leave 10/5 stars… no joke!!!! We got married under their beautiful maple and oak tree with chandeliers and leaves stretching the aisle. Picture perfect 100%!! We stayed the weekend there and had so much time to decorate and enjoy our stay in the farmhouse. Definitely recommend!!!

Bailey Farms Barn and Venue was a great wedding venue! We loved working with Montana and Holly on making our day special. The venue was perfect because it has two houses so that our friends could stay the night and wake up the morning of the wedding to get ready. The houses were so clean and so was the venue. We loved the scenery at the wedding and all of the spots to take pictures. The owners were helpful! Holly even can do your flowers so you don’t have to worry about finding a florist! 5/5 stars! ❤️ We recommend this venue!

Bailey Farms Barn and Venue was an absolute dream to work with for our Vow Renewal. From our very first interaction, their communication was respectful, understanding, and thoughtful - they made the entire planning process a breeze. The venue itself was simply breathtaking, with a spacious and beautifully decorated tent that felt clean and elegant. The extra touches like the pond with the dock, the flowers and decor around the property made the venue even more perfect! The team at Bailey Farms was incredibly detail-oriented, handling the set-up, clean-up, and even serving our delicious cheesecakes with ease. The flowers from their on-site florist, Holly, were truly stunning and complemented the rustic-chic vibe perfectly. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue and highly recommend Bailey Farms Barn and Venue to any couple looking for a stress-free, memorable celebration.

I cannot say enough amazing things about this venue. It was absolutely gorgeous and they made everything stress free! Everyone was coming up to us and telling us how beautiful the venue was. Bailey’s staff was fantastic as well! Before the big day, we sat down and answered a lot of questions to ensure everyone is on the same page which was extremely helpful as there were questions that I didn’t even think! The day of they had everything set up (except decor) when we arrived and we’re very willing to create a stress-free environment. At the end of the ninth, they set all of our decor on a table, making it was very easy and quick for us to pack up in the morning. We stayed at the two properties on the venue which were clean and so unique. I could go on and on but overall a very good experience and I would highly recommend to anyone!

You have to see this place in person. I have received so many compliments since my wedding on how beautiful and ethereal the venue was. During the day the whole property is beautiful but the place especially shines at night when all the tea lights, chandeliers, and string lights come on. There is space for everything you could need here. It's absolutely perfect. On top of just being a beautiful ceremony and reception site, they sleep 18 people for the weekend. You can have a slumber party with your bridesmaids the night before and the boys can all hang out in the barn house. Both buildings were impeccably clean and had extra little touches that came in handy - like a small sewing kit, coffee makers, soft towels, toiletries, ect. During the ceremony and reception the venue had staff working who just took care of everything without ever really being seen unless you needed them. It absolutely poured for the last hour of the reception and the venue very kindly moved all of our gifts into a secure location for us so they wouldn't get ruined. Id give them bonus stars if I could. Go and see for yourself.

Loved this venue! Perfect for a large wedding with multiple ages. Separate getting ready houses for both bridal parties. Service from the owners was incredible between helping us plan our day, recommendations and service the day of. No extra costs piling up was a bonus! Couldn’t recommend this enough to anyone looking to get married around Des Moines.

Bailey farms barn and Venue is more than I could have ever dreamed of as a venue. The staff was incredible at every meeting prior and on our wedding day. My fiancé is very country and we joke that I am country club. I had request that Montana and Holly had not had before and they delivered higher than my expectations. Montana did our rehearsal for us because the officiant couldn’t be there and Holly ordered all our flowers in for us and they were Pinterest perfect and My goodness the arch was GORGEOUS! They also cleaned everything up for us the night of and set all our decor / belonging we brought with us to the venue so all we had to do was put them in the car the next morning. This venue was perfect because it was close to hotels for our wedding guest and sleeps 18 so our entire wedding party could stay on site. I could go on and on, but if you are looking for an outside ceremony and a tented reception this is it!!!

Bailey Farms Barn and Venue was absolutely perfect for our wedding weekend. They provide a barn and a farm house that the wedding party can stay at the Friday and Saturday of your weekend. Both houses are beautiful, up to date, and fully stocked to make the stay easy.
The Venue itself is absolutely beautiful. The little pond is the perfect place to take pictures, the yard is covered in flowers, there is an outdoor sitting area covered in vines, and you can serve your guests drinks outside through a grain bin. The permanent tent is just as breathtaking with home made, wood furniture, greenery everywhere and lots of chandeliers and lights.
The houses were great, and the venue was beautiful, but Montana and her team made our day absolutely perfect. They were so easy to work with and very knowledgeable of how to run and put together a wedding. We got married outside, but the weather did not cooperate. They were able to push all the vendors to start early, and got us back in the tent before it was pouring. Then, they worked their butts off all night. The rain threatened to come under the walls multiple times throughout the day, but they were there pushing it out and keeping the floor dry. They kept everything stocked throughout the night, and went around cleaning as well. They made what could have been a very hectic day, easy and enjoyable for me and my husband.
I also got my flowers there through Holly. I didn’t really know what I wanted, but Holly was experienced enough to figure it out and our bouquets were absolutely gorgeous.
Everyone hopes their wedding day is perfect. Thanks to Montana and her team, ours was, rain and all! :)

After touring over 20 venues in the Des Moines area, I found Bailey Farms through the Knot and began messaging with the owner, Montana. She was so accommodating for a tour and my fiancé and I drove out there with an open mind but expecting another not-quite-our-style venue. When we pulled up, my jaw dropped. The lawns, flowers, and landscaping is the first impression. The inside of the party tent is exactly what we were looking for -- chandeliers, greenery, wood tables, and a general sense of special occasion. We thoroughly enjoyed touring the property with Montana and were so impressed by the cleanliness of the facilities. Every inch of the space is updated. The perk of having several bedrooms at your disposal for the weekend was the icing on the cake for us. It felt like Montana was in our corner from the moment we met her. She was transparent about pricing, decor, and other inclusions. She made it clear that she and her team would be there every step of the way. She accommodated a second tour for my family to help us make our decision and kept us updated on available dates as we were deliberating. After we confirmed that this was our ideal venue, her team stayed in contact about decor lists and payment schedules. One of my favorite wedding planning meetings was at Bailey Farms about a month before our day, where Montana and Holly walked through every single detail with me and my mom. They heard me, made suggestions, and took detailed notes. After telling Holly my exact dreams for our flowers, she gave us a detailed quote and we were pleased to find it was within our budget! The week of our wedding I receieved texts from Montana about our head table arrangement, and just knowing they were thinking about our event already made me feel supported. Montana and Holly were present but by no means overwhelming the weekend of our wedding. Holly's work on our flowers was incredible and exactly met my expectations. The venue was as clean as the day we toured it. All our ceremony chairs were set up perfectly and my family didn't have to worry about moving furniture. I highly recommend renting their extra seating arrangements for your event. Our guests used the lounge seating quite a bit during the reception. Overall, I highly recommend this venue. Beyond beautiful, great owners, and the perfect place to make a special memory.

We could not have asked for a better place to have our wedding. I loved how straightforward everything was. We really enjoyed our experience with their team. So friendly and personable. I would highly recommend Bailey Farms. Plus, the property is downright magical. It is so beautiful and well taken care of.

Such a wonderful venue and the ladies who run it are absolutely incredible! I was able to contact at any point with questions or concerns. My husband and I fell in love with this place, we are proud to have been their first dry wedding. There was plenty of space for yard games, outdoor seating, handicap accessibility throughout the venue, and we were able to fit 100-130 comfortably without feeling crowded. It was also nice to see the staff having fun dancing while they worked, it felt like we were all just one large family. I’d recommend this place to anyone and I’d love to come back in the future for a vow renewal.

My now husband and I fell in love the first time we saw the venue. Both of us being creatives, as well as a gay couple, it was super important we not only find a place that was LGBTQ+ friendly, but also could help us create our vision in the form of a non conventional vampire ball wedding on Halloween weekend, welcoming people from all walks of life. Baileys made it happen for us with flying colors.
Montana was amazing every step of the way through. She was not only transparent and communicative, but also very flexible and realistic with both our expectations and how we could accomplish our vision. 10/10 would absolutely recommend Baileys to anyone who is looking to have a atmospheric and unique wedding, as well as a welcoming atmosphere for queer folks.

This venue was absolutely stunning! I got so many compliments from my guests on how pretty & put together it was. The owners & staff were amazing, too! Communication was clear from day one. This group of ladies will go above and beyond your expectation to provide you with the most beautiful day. They exceeded all of my expectations! Communication was fast and easy and they were able to accommodate all of my requests. They were so personable-by the end our built in on site planner, Montana, felt more like a friend.
There are so many perks and inclusions with the cost. We were able to stay the whole weekend with our friend and family as the venue has 2 beautiful houses for guests.
They were an all stop shop that included lots of decor to choose from, a florist on site, and staff willing to do almost ANYTHING to help make your day easy and enjoyable.

Montana and her whole crew is amazing! She made the process so much easier for us. Loved how we were able to have fireworks to add that special touch to our day. The venue itself is so beautiful. The amount of time that has been put into this place really shows! We also got the most beautiful sunset. Definitely recommend this place as your venue. It is worth it.

Montana and the staff at Bailey Farms were truly a dream to work with. Montana really never told me no - even when I requested three different meetings and walk throughs with her before the final meeting. When we booked this venue, they had yet to have the wedding and were still in the process of building, setting up and getting things together. I really had to trust the vision that she was selling when we booked and oh boy did they deliver.
The house for the girls to stay in is so cozy and has more than enough room and beds for a large wedding party. It was stocked with everything we could imagine. Makeup wipes, bath salts, aromatherapy for showers, hangers, a coffee maker, various kitchen items, lighted personal mirrors and the list could go on and on. The beds were also so comfortable! There was a perfect amount of room for us to get ready the morning of. It was also the perfect distance from where the boys were staying.
The barn for the boys is smaller and quaint but had everything the boys needed for the weekend. They had to share beds, but they didn't care! they had fully stocked bathrooms and kitchen along with the perfect amount of space for them to get ready the morning of.
Because they have a majority of the decor that you might need already, it made set up and tear down so easy. When we arrived on Friday afternoon, the decor items that we requested from them were waiting for us in the tent to put where we wanted. All of the tables, chairs and backdrops were in place for us. We had the tent decorated fully in about an 2 hours. Montana showed up for the rehearsal and helped us walk through the ceremony and dealt really well with keeping our rowdy groomsmen in line.
The day of, she was constantly checking on me to make sure I was okay, she helped direct all the vendors to where they need to be, and when we had to make the last minute call to move the ceremony inside because of the weather, she took 100% of that stress off of me and PROMISED me that it would be just as beautiful inside as it would be outside. Her and the staff pivoted quickly, smoothly and professionally. Every time I saw a staff member, they were so complimentary of me and the wedding and always asked if there was something they could do for me. Even with the weather and me moving the schedule up, they helped keep the peace, keep the schedule and keep me calm during a chaotic day.
When it came time to clean up, they took care of a majority of it. Placing the things we brought on one table in the tent so when we came the next morning to pick it all up it was a breeze.
Overall, I can't imagine having our wedding anywhere else. This review is honestly just the tip of the iceberg of all they did for us and my gratitude for them. I could really write a book. They are truly a huge reason why this was the best day of my life. I would work for them if I could and I will recommend them to everyone, always. A true dream come true.

Bailey Farms went above and beyond to make my wedding day perfect and exactly what I wanted. The facilities are beautifully decorated and clean. The venue property is large enough to have a big wedding, but not feel crammed. Tons of outside space to utilize and enjoy. I highly recommend using Bailey Farms as your florist, as well. Holly did a BEAUTIFUL job with the flowers. Above and beyond my expectations.
Holly and Montana were easy to work with and very willing to help in every step of the process, as well as provided great advice from their experience with other weddings. The service was great and they amazing people to work with. I recommend Bailey Farms to any couple in need of the perfect venue and experience. You will not be disappointed.

This venue was BEAUTIFUL and also a great value! Montana made all my dreams come true and was amazing to work with. Multiple ceremony spots, and the tent is heated and cooled so it doesn’t even feel like a tent. You can also rent their farmhouse so out of town guests have a place to stay! Venue planning was seamless with Bailey farms, I promise! If you’re looking for kind of a “one stop shop”, look no further :)

It was a perfect day. Bailey Farms truly helps to make sure your day is just how you wanted, they are very professional but take pride in every little detail. The venue is absolutely beautiful and allows for a thousand different photos opportunities and backgrounds. Several beautiful outdoor locations for the ceremony itself and the permanent tent for the reception is perfect! I would recommend this place to everyone!

Bailey's was absolutely perfect! Wonderful landscape and set up was amazing! The inside of the tent was absolutely beautiful with greenery and chandeliers! Even though the day was hot the tent was nice and cool! The option of having 2 houses to stay at was icing on the cake with having bridal party from out of town! There are nice patios for guest to use and beautiful landscaping that's a perfect back drop for photos.
I would recommend Bailey's for everyone's wedding or event!

We are so happy that we chose this venue for our wedding day! It is such a hidden gem! Montana was so responsive to all my questions leading up to our wedding day and was so helpful day of! I was able to enjoy myself and not stress about the little details! The venue is such a beautiful location and all the attention to detail just makes it even better. We had rain the morning of our wedding day and Montana and her team were out making sure everything was looking like it should! I would recommend this venue to anyone and I’m so thankful we found this hidden gem to make our wedding day so special!
