Bake My Day

Bake My Day recently did a cake for my wedding. The cake was supposed to have a dull finish and it was glossy looking. It looked nothing like what we discussed in the meeting. So disappointed when I saw it on my big day.

Had our wedding last month at Sandestin Bayview Room & Terrace & we are so glad we went with Chef Heidi with Bake my day to make our wedding cake! She was so easy to work with, professional, great customer service! Our cake turned out exactly how we wanted it & it tasted even AMAZING! We loved it & our guests loved it as well, no slices were left over!! We highly recommend having Chef Heidi make your wedding cake or any occasion!! Totally worth it!!

The cake is exactly what I imagined it to be and tasted amazing!

Heidi did an amazing job consulting over the phone (as we were doing all of our planning from a different state). She took into consideration all of our ideas and looked at the pictures we liked and she nailed it 100%. I can't wait to try our topper on our 1 year anniversary as we brought a little bit of our wedding home with us. Also, her Chocolate chip cookies we had along with the cake were gone quicker than you could even blink!! As the bride I onto recall even getting one!!

We selected Bake My Day for our wedding cake, our design was simple, a 3 tier buttercream frosted cake no filling. The price was right on budget for me. Would recommend to a friend

Great price however after discussing what I wanted which was a simple 3 tier buttercream cake and sending a picture, the cake was not executed. I felt she scrapped it together at the last minute forgetting the details and correct color. When it was addressed with her via email to just point out the differences between the picture and actual cake she became very defensive and did not take responsibility. I did not or expect anything in return just may I'm sorry you were let down, etc. Very disappointed.

I can't say enough good things! The cake came out PERFECT, exactly as I had imagined it! And it was delicious too! I'm fighting every day not to pull it out of the freezer and eat the top tier. They were so helpful and very much on top of things. I would highly recommend them!

Heidi at Bake My Day is amazing! Every single ingredient from her cakes is made from scratch (even the fruit filling is completely made from scratch). I decided about two weeks before my wedding that I wanted to alter my design, and she was totally receptive to the changes I wanted done. Not only that, but on my wedding day, the cake looked absolutely gorgeous and tasted phenomenal (I did a four-tiered cake with two tiers consisting of chocolate ganache with strawberry, and other tiers consisting of strawberry with genoise filling). She managed to make the design look EXACTLY like the picture I gave her of the revised design. And she does butter cream icing, which makes the cakes so much tastier than fondant cakes! And she's been generous enough to include in her pricing a replication of your top tier cake for your one-year anniversary:)

I love cake! Therefore, my wedding cake had to be beautiful and taste amazing. Heidi at Bake My Day did an amazing job! I gave her a few ideas of what I had in mind and she created a tasty masterpiece!

Heide was great to work with...I relied mostly on email to communicate what we wanted...she nailed the design down PERFECTLY! The only thing that I was not completely satisfied with was the icing on the cake..we wanted buttercream and it didn't taste quite right...that would be the only hang up...other than that it was great.

Truth be told - Heidi doesn't email often, so the phone will be your main point of contact. She's a small bakery located in the heart of Destin and she makes great cakes (and cupcakes - we had both). Guests ate multiple cupcakes each - a true testament to her talent.

My husband and I Heidi 1 time for a taste sampling, made a decision- mailed deposit and she made all arrangements with my venue! She showed up on time and everyone loved the cake! Pleasure to work with!! Thanks Heidi!

Heidi at Bake My Day is very sweet, and our wedding and groom's cakes were beautiful! We had a 3-tier, round, buttercream cake with 2 different flavors, with turquoise accents and starfish and shell accents, and a farm-themed groom's cake. They were awesome! They weren't always super organized while working with them before the wedding, but my cakes were there on time and turned out great, which is all that matters in the end! =)

Heidi did a fabulous job with our wedding cakes. She made the time to determine exactly what we were looking for, match our wedding colors, and taste the delicious cakes. She helped design a very unique groom's cake as well. Everything was set up on time and came out great!

She came in and saved me when my original cake lady cancelled on me. She was a little more expensive than I would have liked, but her cake was amazing and everyone was raving about it.

Heidi did a fantastic job on our wedding cake. We had a destination wedding in Destin, FL, and I found Bake My Day in a Google search. We had her special wedding cake recipe with raspberry cream and white chocolate ganache. Although my wedding was small, only 20 people, I ordered a two tier cake expecting some left over. Well, my guests loved it, because they ate every bite! My favorite part was the frosting. I don’t like fondant frosting, it looks great but tastes terrible – and I’m all about taste. Heidi created a gorgeous cake using delicious, fresh tasting buttercream – very creamy but not sugary sweet. Our cake looked exactly as promised and tasted even better.

Heidi from Bake My Day was so wonderful to work with for our Destin wedding. Our cake looked amazing and tasted even better! She let us mix two different fillings and made some great suggestions too. She even made us a replacement cake top so that we could celebrate our one year anniversary during a trip down to Destin (she advised us not to keep the original, which would have been impossible since we left for our honeymoon straight from FL and are from out of state). Overall great service and amazing product! You will not be disappointed.

I went to culinary school and also worked in a cake bakery for almost 2 years so I was very familiar with the do's and dont's in's and out's of wedding cakes. I knew what I wanted and Heidi was completely willing to send me pictures ideas of what she had done and we ended up molding a cake design out of 2 cakes she had done in the past. It was flawless. It was exactly what I wanted it to look like and TASTE like. She made us a 3-tiered cake with red velvet/cream cheese filling and a chocolate genoise cake with chocolate ganache filling. It was heavenly. It was so moist and the filling was generous! The decorations were sugar sea shells and coral. It was amazing. She delivered on time and was so professional and her shop is so cute!! When my matron and I went to visit her in Destin she opened the shop for us on her day off and had a consultation and cake tasting! She was amazing.
