Thea was the sweetest person to work with. I went into this knowing exactly what flavor I wanted but after tasting her samples, it was a tough decision. In the end she perfected the look and the taste that I imagined. She exchanged so many emails about how to achieve what I needed to have the cake design I wanted and enough cake for all attendees. Thea hit it out of the ball park!!! (We went with traditional New Orleans Wedding Cake flavor, almond cake with raspberry buttercream flavor)

Thea made my wedding cake, and it was fantastic! My goal was the best tasting cake possible, looks/decoration were secondary. She has so many flavors! My notes say, I heart cream cheese buttercream, so definitely give it a try! We went with champagne cake, champagne buttercream and lemon curd filling. I've never had champagne cake prior to trying cakes for my wedding. Thea really showed me how good of a flavor it could be when done right. She was so easy to work it, and I really appreciate her hard work in helping my wedding go off without a hitch!

Thea was easily one of the nicest, most genuine vendors we worked with for our wedding - and she's an incredible baker! While we ordered a fairly simple wedding cake (three tiers with white textured buttercream - still beautiful and most importantly, delicious) if you go to her website or Instagram, you can see for yourself how capable she is at executing any design! We ended up getting two different tasting boxes to make sure we tried everything we wanted, which was welcomed, and we must mention how good her almond cake and Italian cream are (one of our tier choices, of course!) Thea also graciously placed the flowers on our cake, a small detail that we definitely appreciated her handling, and was overall a joy to work with! Would highly recommend!

Thea the Bakermama is amazing! She baked our wedding & groom's cakes and brought our visions to life even better than we could imagine. Her bakes not only look amazing but also taste divine. Thea at BakerMama Cakes is amazing! Not only is she a girl boss running her business but she does it extremely well! Her cakes, fillings, and frostings are made from scratch and are all delicious! Thea was there to walk us through all our questions, help us figure out how much cake we needed, and what cake/filling pairings she recommended. She executed our vision for our cake perfectly and I couldn’t recommend her more!

Thea was so sweet (pun not intended) to work with and has a fun personality that comes through in her work. We had a taste test party with her tasting box and loved almost everything in it! I am pretty discerning with both cake and icing, and she absolutely nailed it. She let us try one more flavor (which is how we ended up with red velvet) after we booked to make sure it was perfect. Her previous cakes all had the vibe I wanted, so I just sent her screenshots of my favorite designs, and she ran with it and it turned out beautiful and just perfect without much fuss at all. We got so many compliments on our cake, looks-wise and taste-wise. And she was also able to make gluten-free cupcakes to match for my MIL in place of the traditional groom’s cake. Highly recommend Thea for sure!

I have truly never had a better wedding cake than my own. My goodness, the flavors are all to die for. Thea is so sweet and was so easy to work with. My cake vision was brought to life with her design and it was absolutely gorgeous! So many of my guests have asked me for details about the cake because they were raving about it all night. I would definitely recommend hiring Bakermama! She is SO talented.

The cake and florals were the most important part of our wedding so I spent a long time tasting cakes and reviewing designs. Thea caught my eye on Instagram because her work is precise, clean and gorgeous! The flavor of her cakes are just as amazing as her designs. She allowed us to taste test as many as we wanted throughout the year of planning and was extremity pleasant and fun to work with. I will most defiantly use Bakermama for any future cake needs!

Bakermama was a delightful experience! We reached out 1-1.5 months before our wedding and received a quick, excited response. She strongly encouraged us to search through Pinterest, find some cakes we like, then meet her at her studio to receive a tasting box and go over cake details. Every interaction with her was encouraging and the meeting at her studio really helped us see what size cakes we wanted for our wedding. The tasting box threw us for a loop because every single flavor of cake and frosting was delicious. After the tasting, my partner and I changed our initial flavor plans which Bakermama gladly accommodated! The day of, she arrived early with the wedding cake and even made a second trip from her studio to deliver the backup cake separately! Everyone at the wedding remarked on how delicious and beautiful the cakes were. Any wedding - or event - would be enhanced by her wonderful cakes!

The attention to detail and creativity you put into making sure that the cakes were not only identifiable by their flavors but beautiful as well is remarkable! I just can't stop raving about you! PLUS you are as sweet of a person as your cakes! Truly a gem!

LOVED working with Thea! We wanted a very simple cake with flowers and she and our florist worked well together to make that happen and it looked marvelous. Beyond that, the cake was also delicious. We really liked that she also offered the separate cutting cakes that have a slightly lower price point and were the exact same quality as the bridal cake. Would definitely recommend her.

Thea was so amazing to work with! She was so responsive to texts/emails and helped make our wedding vision come true! My husband wanted a skate wheel as his grooms cake and Thea made him exactly what he wanted! All of my guests were raving about how good the cake was! I cannot recommend Thea enough!

Thea was so wonderful to work with! When researching vendors for our wedding I had the hardest time finding a baker for our cake, customer service is important to me and I was not clicking with any other vendors but when I found her website I knew that she was the one for us! She’s is so sweet and created exactly what I wanted for our wedding cake. Not to mention it was delicious! We went with a few flavors but the snickerdoodle was our favorite. My husband and I cut our cake at the wedding and immediately went back for more after the first bite. I found Thea (Bakermama) after searching bakers at The Knot. I was originally skeptical to go with a one woman business but her cakes were so beautiful, I thought I would reach out. And I am so glad I did! Thea has been an absolute pleasure to work with. She stuck with us through two postponed weddings (thanks COVID) and could not be more understanding or compassionate. She was patient with me as I threw out idea after idea and ultimately made the most incredible wedding and groom's cake. Not only were the cake's beautiful, they tasted amazing. Thea with Bakermama made our amazing wedding cakes! We loved our snickerdoodle baseball cake with Champagne icing. Tastes fabulous! Our wedding cake itself had intricate beautiful design, floral and swirls of icing. It was layered with chocolate, vanilla cakes, and champagne icing. We received so many complements on design and taste. Thea was very sweet to me at her kitchen visit and her prices are super reasonable! Recommend to all!

Thea made us a beautiful wedding cake for our July 16th wedding. it was delicious and she decorated it for us so wonderfully with the wood flowers we provided. She was super helpful on deciding how much cake to order and what size tiers would work for us.

The Bakermama (Thea) was an absolute joy to work with. Her cakes are delicious and she is very responsive by text, email, and on the knot. She answered the million questions that I had and was flexible as far as letting me do a last minute cake testing. I couldn't have asked her to do a better job because what she created for us was so beautiful and delicious! We received so many compliments. The flavors we chose were snickerdoodle (top tier), strawberry (middle tier), snickerdoodle (bottom tier) with cream cheese filling and vanilla frosting. Thea was absoluetly amazing to work with! Her cakes are beautiful and taste phenomenal too! She is open to all kinds of ideas for designs and flavors and our cakes were even better than we thought they could be. We received so many compliments about them even weeks later! With so many constant changes due to the pandemic, Thea was very flexible and was willing to wait until much closer to the wedding date to finalize guest count so we could make sure to have the right amount of cake while still following the most current guidelines. She is an absolute dream to work with and I couldn't be more grateful to have worked with her!

Thea is not only wonderful as a person but as a EXTREMELY talented baker! My wedding cake was beautiful and exactly what I had envisioned. It also tasted incredible! I’m actually not the biggest cake person, but I believe I had seconds (maybe even snuck in a third)! Everyone was raving about the cake! People reached out even after the wedding to inquire about her! Bakermama creates the most beautiful cakes for a reasonable price and you can tell this isn’t just a business for her. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! All of our guests raved about how good the cake was. I even heard several people say it was the best wedding cake they ever had. Seriously, soooo gooood! We went with a lemon and cream cheese filling and a triple chocolate with hazelnut filling -- both delicious. Not only was the cake amazing but Thea was great to work with. She always got back to us right away and worked with us when we had to re-schedule our wedding due to COVID. Seriously, book Bakermama NOW, you wont regret it!

Bakermama was the first tasting we did for our wedding cake and after trying 3-4 more places, Bakermama was clearly the BEST by far. The cake was perfectly moist and sweet. My husband is not huge on frosting but he LOVED the cream cheese frosting. We did three flavors: champagne vanilla, chocolate, and cookies and cream - cream cheese frosting on all. I know many guests got to try all three flavors! Bakermama perfectly executed the vision for the groom's cake and did a great job recreating his favorite teams logo. My mom also used Bakermama to make a cake for my bridal shower and that was amazing too. My one feedback would be there is room for improvement on communication - I know Thea gets many inquiries and has her hands full so I did have to resend the same email once or twice. However, Thea was very apologetic when one email got lost in the shuffle, and during the week of the wedding she texted me regarding delivery time etc. which I appreciated. I look forward to ordering a one year anniversary cake with Bakermama!

Bakermama is fantastic. My in-laws are very picky about their cakes, so we had to make sure that we delivered a truly awesome cake to everyone. Bakermama had great communication throughout the process, and was extremely helpful when I asked her a bunch of questions. Her flavors are so amazing that you will have a hard time deciding which flavors to pair with witch icings and fillings! Not only is the flavor delicious, but the cakes themselves are beautiful. Bakermama is truly talented. I have already had people ask me if they can order just a birthday cake from her because they want the flavor again! I believe every wedding couple should hire Bakermama as their baker.

My cake was phenomenal! if you are looking for someone to bake you the best cake ever, look no further. Not only was it beautiful, it was delicious! We ended going with a vanilla champagne cake with Baileys filling and a lemon cake with lemon curd filling. Scrumptious!!! My wedding guests keep talking about the cake!

There are so many wonderful things to say about the cakes for our wedding day. For starters, Bakermama was able to turn a red velvet cake burnt orange for a Texas Longhorn grooms cake. The cakes looked immaculate and were absolutely delicious! All of our expectations were surpassed with Bakermama. We will definitely recommend her for anyone needing a cake for their wedding day!

We used Bakermama for my daughter's wedding and the cakes were beautiful and delicious! Our guests could not say enough about how delicious the cakes were. Thea was a joy to work with as well. Bakermama is wonderful to work with! She made us a personalized wedding cake for our September 2020 wedding, however due to the pandemic, our plans changed and she was extremely easy to work with during that time. She made us a beautiful two tier small cake and decorated it perfectly with florals and the design. The cake flavors were delicious. I still get cravings of the snickerdoodle cake!! The cake tasting is wonderful- she prepared a small box of all the flavors we requested and frosting selections and we took it to a park for a picnic.

Bakermama's cakes are the best cakes I have ever tried! I am not a huge cake person but I could not help myself with her snicker doodle and pumpkin cakes. Plus her wedding cakes design was amazing! I sent her one picture of something that I really liked and she was able to make it come to life. Not only that but Thea was absolutely wonderful to work with! Thea was very quick to respond to messages and was wonderful to talk with at the initial meeting. She let us pick her brain to make sure we selected a cake that would be big enough for everyone attending our wedding and was very flexible with everything going on in the world right now. Ladies and gentlemen, your search for a baker is over. Thea was in our top three most amazing vendors to work with. She truly helped guide our perfect wedding cake, giving us 2 different flavors and 3 different fillings...and it was AMAZING. Such a moist, luscious cake, and her recommendations were on point. I didn't even see any leftovers! I was planning from out of state, and never taste-tested anything, just went off of reviews, and you can trust these reviews. Her cakes are phenomenal, and I loved hearing some of her favorite flavor combinations. Now, onto the next reason to hire her. When she arrived, my flowers weren't delivered yet to decorate the cake. I felt bad and knew she had other deliveries, but she told me she could stick around for a bit longer and then literally asked me what I needed help with! This wonderful woman lovingly volunteered to help finish filling my bud vases and decorate the tables while I finished getting ready. I am still floored that she volunteered her time like that and was so sweet and supportive in the process. So if you want a great cake, PICK HER. If you also want a wonderful vendor who cares for her brides, PICK HER. Oh, and I'm still craving her cake 2 weeks later...

Thea was such a pleasure to work with! A friend used her for her wedding, and she had talked so much about how much she loved her cake I went straight to Bakermama once I got engaged. I picked up her sample box which was so much fun—literally every flavor she makes is amazing and it was hard to choose! She was quick to communicate, and we emailed back and forth to decide on cake size, decor, etc. On the wedding day, she arrived right on time and arranged the flowers for the cake and added the topper. It was perfect and SO yummy! I couldn't eat much on the wedding day, but when I got to the cake I managed to get the entire slice eaten haha. I'd highly recommend her!

A member of our wedding party tested positive for COVID-19 two days before our ceremony, and the contact risk for other wedding party members basically cancelled our entire day. Our church could not allow us to proceed with our ceremony due to the fact that we could potentially be risking the health of church staff and members the following day during service (and we didn't want to do that, either). Rather than have a rehearsal dinner, everyone was frantically trying to figure out how/when/where we could have a small outdoor ceremony instead. It did not occur to me until around 10 that night that we didn't need such a large cake if only a few family members were going to be present. I sent Thea an urgent email, only to discover that all along she had been planning my cake for the wrong date because I sent a TYPO in my first email to her. By the grace of God, she checked her messages that night (which she said she never does) and called me immediately. I had resigned myself to everything being off for my ceremony. She patiently listened to me cry about my day falling apart and was so encouraging, and reminded me that the big party is actually such a small part of the celebration, that it's the marriage that matters. Her words were honey to my aching heart and she started baking as soon as we got off the phone to create our altered vision for our cakes. They were absolutely perfect, and I will recommend her to all of my future bride friends.

Bakermama was such a pleasure to work with! I went to her home in McKinney to pick up cake samples and she was kind, caring, and you could tell very passionate about what she does. I knew she was the one to do our cakes. It was hard to choose just one flavor - so we didn't! Our wedding cake was two different flavors, and Groom's cake another flavor. The wedding cake turned out absolutely stunning (4 tiers, textured buttercream) and the Groom's cake was a HIT! She was able to make a cake in the shape of a Ford Torino (I wasn't sure if it was possible!) with "Just Married" on the back and our last name on the liscence plate. It was absolutely amazing! I am so thankful that we found Bakermama to do our cakes! She made everything easy, was professional and responsive, and delivered beautiful, delicious cakes to our venue. What more could we ask for! I highly recommend Bakermama!

Bakermama was a joy to work with!!!! She was enthusiastic, pleasant and passionate about baking. After reviewing her website I was sold on her clean aesthetic.....there were designs for every style from rustic to modern. But after a tasting, I knew she would be a perfect fit. About me...I'm a foodie and like complex flavors. Thea was open to collaboration and able to think outside the box. We had a four tier bridal cake and our grooms cake was a Jack Daniels bottle. Both cakes were delicious!!! The night before our wedding Thea made a change to our design because it did not meet her standards. Our final products were perfection!!!! Our guest raved about how flawless our cakes were as much as the taste. If you are looking for beautiful, great tasting and easy to work with the Bakermama should be on your list of vendors.

Thea was great to work with. She was so kind and helpful. Her cakes are delicious. I really wanted to have a lemon cake for my wedding. Thea contacted me when as soon as she had some for me to try. Unlike other bakers I went to, Thea’s lemon cake and buttercream were made from real lemons, no artificial flavoring or colors. Her chocolate cake and buttercream was amazing too. The cake itself was beautiful and exactly what I was wanting.

Thea was so incredible to work with from a wedding planner perspective. She was very responsive to my emails confirming times and other details. She made the most delicious cake for the couple and cannot wait for the opportunity to work with her again.

We hired Bakermama to do our wedding cake this past June. The cake was beautiful with so much details and the taste was beyond amazing! Bakermama arrived to the venue on time, if not early and delivered. The only thing we asked was for the baker to have flowers placed on the cake (since we paid extra for the florist to leave extra flowers for the cake) but the florist was late on the day of the wedding so this prevented our baker from being able to place the flowers on the cake so the venue had to do it. I would have thought the baker would stay to place the flowers. Other than that, the cake was overall a 5 star.

I was one of the brides that was affected by the COVID-19. Bakermama was so nice and understanding of the whole situation. We had her cake tasting and her cakes are AMAZING! Super moist and flavorful. My fiancé and I took forever to decide on a flavor because we wanted them all. We have seen previous work and all her cakes are gorgeous. We will definitely be contacting her in the future!!

Thea was outstanding from start to finish! The cake she created for my daughter's wedding was stunning and it tasted fabulous!! She made the groom's cake and the bridal cake and they both looked exactly like the bride and groom requested and were absolutely delicious! Thea was WONDERFUL from our first email, to the multiple emails in between, to the actual delivery of our perfect cakes on wedding day! My husband had a pretty specific idea in mind that was pretty detailed (a personalized golf figurine, beard and all, a toy sized excavator, and a golf green all on one cake!) and when he described it to Thea, she was SO excited and said she loved doing detailed grooms cake. I was so relieved! For my Bride's cake, I just gave her a broad idea of what I wanted and the outcome was better than anything I could have thought of. Thea is such an easy-going, kind person and that really helped to put us at ease during our planning process. Her cakes are beyond gorgeous and they taste even better! I was sure that I wanted white cake with white icing for my Bride's cake, but after our tasting, we ended up going with strawberry and snickerdoodle. SO DELICIOUS! Thea is also so affordable. I was so excited that we were able to book Thea to create our dream cakes, while still staying within our budget. She was very prompt when responding to my, what felt like, hundreds of emails and was always kind and professional. I don't have enough kind words to say about Bakermama! She's just THE BEST. <3

Thea is beyond amazing to work with! From the moment we tasted her cakes I knew she was who we wanted to work with for our big day. She brought our vision to life and her husband was even able to 3D print a ladder for my husband’s firetruck cake. After the wedding we had so many rave reviews on the cakes and how delicious they were. She was an absolute joy to work with and made our day so special! Thank you Thea!

If I could give Thea (Bakermama) 100 stars I would. She was incredible. Our wedding cake was absolutely beautiful and tasted amazing. The price was very reasonable as well. And if I wasn't already convinced she was amazing, a few weeks before my wedding, my plans for our groom's cake fell through. I emailed Thea to see if it would be possible for her to make a groom's cake too and she didn't even hesitate. She was so compassionate and kind and we are so so grateful. Both cakes turned out wonderful, we had many guests tell us how delicious they were. Also, she told us that instead of saving our top tier and freezing it for our 1 Yr Anniversary, she will make us an anniversary cake for FREE! How amazing is that, like who wants to eat year old freezer burned cake lol. I cannot recommend Bakermama enough, she was so great to work with and I'm looking forward to going back to her again in the future.

Thea went above and beyond with our cakes and there are so many options for flavors to chose from. She worked with us so well and the cakes tasted great- even after the wedding was over! She made our whataburger grooms cake and I could not get over how amazing it turned out!

Thea was so easy and delightful to work with. The cake was not only beautiful but delicious. Many of our guests raved about the cake, including people who don’t typically like cake! I would highly recommend her to anyone needing a cake.

Let me start out by saying that Thea BLEW us away with the way Our wedding cake turned out. It was better than I could have ever imagined. Our grooms cake was also perfect . I have celiac disease and I looked REALLY hard and really long for someone that I would trust to make my portion GF but didn’t have to make the WHOLE thing GF because that would be really expensive. Thea’s GF cake was PERFECt. I can still imagine eating it and I can not wait for our anniversary to eat more!!!! She was professional through and through and was always quick to respond to correspondence. She has SO many wonderful flavor combos as well. Our favs were: strawberry, snickerdoodle, vanilla, and chocolate. Her icing is TO DIE for!!!!! The colors of the cake were perfect and so was all of the detail. Her prices are so reasonable for her quality as well. You can tell she truly loves what she does and shows through and through. Even the way she perfectly placed the fresh flowers was perfection!!! BOOK Bakermama cakes you will NOT be disappointed. There honestly wasn’t cake left because everyone has MULTIPLE pieces that’s how amazing it was!!!!

Althea was such a dream come true for my cakes! She was the first vendor I picked, and she made me feel so confident and sure of my choice from the get go. She was also available for questions, very easy to work with and completely helpful in make decisions in regard to design and flavor! We spoke mostly via email, and it was almost as if we were talking on the phone with how personable she was. And the cakes!!! They were simply beautiful! I gave her a little bit of direction and allowed her to be creative and she hit it out of the park. And they would delicious! We had none left to take home!! So happy we found her and would recommend her to anyone needing cakes or desserts. Thank you Althea!

Thea is incredible both as a baker and a person, but first, let me tell you about the cake: It’s been over a month since our wedding, but people are still complimenting me on the cake. All the guests were so impressed that the cake was so beautiful and tasted as good as it looks. There are a lot of wedding cakes that are artistically elegant, but no one wants to eat more than a bite. This cake was loved by everyone, and I’m so impressed with how Thea embraces the art, science, and love of baking. I was able to customize my cake tiers with different flavors and inner frostings, and Thea offered excellent feedback on which flavors and compotes she liked best together, which I appreciated so much. My favorite was the snickerdoodle cake with an apple compote. The best way I can describe it is it tasted like a sunny Sunday morning in autumn. The other two flavors were also delicious: we went with a double chocolate tier (but all the outer frosting was vanilla for the design) in lieu of a separate groom’s cake, and a tier of orange zest, which was so tasty. Thea was an absolute joy to work with. She is such a delightful person. She’s enthusiastic, kind, funny, and was so attentive and reassuring to any questions and concerns I had. She was also very good about communicating, so I never had to wait long for a reply, or worry that something I wanted wasn’t understood. If I could offer any advice to couples looking for a baker, it would be to get Thea. She’s prompt, professional, and her cakes are as beautiful as they are delicious.

Bakermama is the BEST! She made multiple cakes for our wedding and different birthdays and they all have been beautiful and most importantly DELISH! As the Mother of the Bride I was given the honor of finding an amazing baker to make the wedding and grooms cakes. I scheduled several tastings with bakers around the area that I found either online or in a magazine. I attended the tastings and they all seemed to be good. I even went to a tasting in Dallas for a bakery who is on TV. I just didn't feel a connection at that point. And then I happened upon Bakermama. The difference I noticed wasn't just the taste (which was amazing) or the design work (she made the coolest soccer themed grooms cake) she came up with, but the way she makes you feel. You can tell that every cake she makes she pours her biggest and most creative heart into. You will definitely have an amazing wedding cake if you go with Bakermama! And she makes the best cookies too!

I cannot say enough good things about Thea at Bakermama!! The cakes were delicious and looked exactly like what I pictured. Thea was wonderful to work with and help me to brainstorm what I wanted! I've also ordered cookies from her and they turned out even prettier than I imagined.

I can not tell you how much I loved working with Althea! She is such an amazing artist! We had this over the top Egyptian themed wedding cake for our wedding, and she did more than pull it off! The guests are still talking about this cake! Love her!!!

Thea is AMAZING!! I had so much fun collaborating with her on my dream wedding cake, as well as our surprise groom's cake. Our wedding required her to travel across the country with ALL of her professional baking equipment and materials, not to mention a hand-made sugar topper, which she had to hold on her lap on the plane! She is exceptionally talented, professional, and so beautiful inside and out. We recommend her a million times over!!

From start to finish the customer service and presentation were phenomenal. The cake was literally the best cake I have ever tasted! It was almost hard to choose at the cake tasting because they were all so good. Thank you Bakermama for the beautiful naked/frosted cake!

Thea (AKA Bakermama) was easily one of the best and easiest vendors I worked with when I was planning my wedding. She is incredibly professional and yet super friendly, which is hard to find. From the moment I contacted Thea, she showed genuine interest in my wedding and in doing our wedding cakes despite my millions of questions (yes...I was THAT bride that downloaded the list of “what questions to ask your vendors”...). She had amazing designs and work to show, which is why I initially contacted her. BUT...the amazing part was how affordable she was!! And her quality of work is just out of this world. Not to mention the TASTE. She worked with me over the course of 8 months to design my husband’s military cake (which was no small feat) and she worked with me to incorporate personal details to my wedding cake. It’s been over a year and we are STILL getting compliments on or cakes...how amazing they LOOKED AND TASTED!! My husband and I laugh bc we got one bite of our cakes...and the rest disappeared that night. Fastforward one year...I contacted Thea again because I was hosting my sister’s bridal shower st my house. Thea did an OUTSTANDING job with cookies, cake, AND cupcakes....needless to say that there were again NO leftovers and the compliments were endless. Fast forward to June 2018...it’s Father’s Day weekend and my dad’s 60th birthday. I wanted to do something special, so Thea was the way to go. She designed some very special bilingual cookies and cake in the theme of James Bond (my dad’s nickname is 007). We had company over for his birthday and my dad knew what he was in for in terms of his bday goodies...he HID everything for everyone and wouldn’t share lol!! Anyway...all of this to say that Thea is not only the sweetest most caring vendor you will meet, she is also just an amazing person. She will be our cake and dessert person for life! You will not regret choosing to do business with her. It has been one of the most rewarding relationships I’ve ever built with a business.

Bakermama was very professional and answered all of my questions. I was really looking forward to having her cake be a staple at our wedding. The caked looked stunning. Unfortunately, it did not taste very fresh. We had a few people comment to us about the freshness of the cake after we came back from the honeymoon. It tasted like it had been stored for a few days.

I LOVED working with Thea was an amazing experience and I would use her all over again! She was extremely sweet and her cakes were SO delicious. She was an absolute pleasure to work with, even from across the country. I highly recommend her and next time I am in the DFW, I will be ordering another cake!

Wow - Bakermama was fantastic & perfect for our wedding! I couldn't have asked for a better cake decorator - she knows her craft! My fiancé (now husband!) and I searched all over Dallas for a cake decorator that could not only make a great cake but at an affordable price. Let me tell you, that was hard to find! When I found Bakermama on Wedding Wire she was quick to answer any questions or concerns that I had about our cake. She was very easy to work with and scheduled us a tasting right away! Her flavors were absolutely awesome! We had so many guest at our wedding rave about our cake - we're so grateful to have found Bakermama! I strongly recommend!!!

My goodness, where do I begin. Bakermama was such an awesome vendor to work with. I was planning my wedding from out of town and she send me countless emails and texts and made time to meet with me while I was home for Christmas break. I gave her a picture of a design we wanted, and told her what tweaks we wanted to make to it, she helped us choose favors and details, and our cake was exactly what I imagined! And it was delicious to boot! All of our guests were so in love with it, and everyone was asking who made it. We had a three tier, square cake with the tiers off centered and a script monogram on the top tier. Our cake toppers were a fishing groom on the top tier and a reaching bride on the bottom. It was so perfect, and so us! I definitely want her to make us another cake in the future. She is the best!
