We loved our process with Baker's Man. The cake was the most important part of the night for me (big dessert gal!). So I had high standards, and Mark DELIVERED. The whole process was fun from the start. We showed up to the tasting and had so many fun flavors to try and taste, and then Mark worked with us to mix and match to make our perfect cake. Then on the wedding day, it SHOWED UP and it was beautiful, and more importantly, delicious! All of our guests loved it too. Can't wait to have our anniversary topper in a year. :)

Mark is honestly the best! I came to him after talking with many other bakers and he was the only one that listened to me and gave me exactly what I wanted! I was a bit untraditional in the sense that I wanted a one tier cake and then the rest to be assorted cupcakes. I had very specific flavors I wanted and he exceeded all expectations! The day of he set up the display beautifully and I couldn’t have been happier!

Mark was the best! Thankful my dentist recommended him. All the cake companies before him were the same: commercial feeling, cookie cutter, sales people, etc. Then you walk into Mark's studio and he has a beautiful tasting experience set up in a private room and walks you through all the options. He's a good listener and also has his own very impressive stories and background as a baker. Look no further. You're in great hands with Mark.

My husband and I absolutely LOVED our wedding cake! Guests continued to bring it up months after our wedding. Our one year anniversary is coming up, and Baker’s Man in celebration of that anniversary is recreating the top tier of the cake. So special to celebrate the occasion with! On September 2023 my daughter's wedding cake was delivered on time as promised! My cousin recommended the Baker's Man to do the cake. I am so glad I listened to her suggestion and called Mark. He set up our tasting appointment right away. My daughter brought two pictures as examples of her vision. He listened carefully to my daughter's vision for her dream wedding cake and made it come true. The cake was not only beautiful but every layer had delicious flavors. The cake was amazing and looked like it came out of a magazine. Our guests are still talking about my daughter's wedding cake. There was only a little left and we were so happy to have a few slices to enjoy the next day! Mark also created a groom cake with special touches for the groom which made it so memorable for him. Bakers’ Man helped make my wedding cake dreams come true!! Cannot recommend them enough. From the very start, Mark was able to see my vision of what I wanted in the design. I shared several inspiration photos I had found online and Mark provided me clear cut descriptions and quotes of what I could expect to pay for each one. When I got around to choosing one, he was able to replicate it nearly identically for a reasonable and very fair price. When it came to choosing a flavor for our wedding cake, I could not have been more lost at the beginning but Mark made this as easy as possible for us. He offered us a sample box of his most popular cake and filling flavor combinations for a reasonable price that helped us settle on our favorite. As far as taste goes - this cake is the best I have ever had. I mean that quite literally! The menu of both cake and filling flavor options was extensive and I can’t imagine anyone not being able to find something they love that will be perfect for their day. On the day of the wedding, the cake was delivered and set up perfectly on time for our flowers to be placed and our photographer to grab some cute pictures of it. Mark was easy to communicate with in the days leading up to the wedding to coordinate everything. All things considered - Baker’s Man is an amazing choice for your wedding cake (or any cake you need, really!) and I highly recommend them!

We had our wedding on 12/9/23 and the cake was perfect! Our initial meeting for cake flavors and designs was smooth and very helpful on top of the flavors tasting wonderful. On top of that when we wanted to mix two cake designs together we got an outstanding result that was beyond our expectations. Can not recommend enough!

Mark was one of the easiest vendors to work with! We had a tasting with them in September (wedding in April) and from the first bite, I knew Baker's Man was the right choice. He made enough cake so my mom and then fiancé could try some! Cake tasting was one of my favorite parts of wedding planning and Mark made it so fun! He has kept all of his wedding cake records for the last 20 years - so people can reach out to him for anniversary cakes and he knows exactly what cake flavors they had years before! What a neat idea! Both the wedding cake and the groom's cake were incredibly delicious and the guests just raved about how beautiful and tasty BOTH cakes were! My now husband went to Purdue in Indiana and he hadn't heard of a second cake at a wedding, but when he heard it was traditionally chocolate - he was all for it. 10/10 would highly recommend Mark and Baker's Man.

Mark COMPLETELY EXCEEDED our expectations!!! For my Nigerian traditional marriage, he was tasked with baking a specialty cake that included some specific Nigerian cultural details. We were initially concerned that an American wouldn't be able to execute on the cultural detail, but boy we were wrong. We showed him a photo, and Mark executed to PERFECTION! To say we were impressed was an understatement. He was SPOT-ON with all the details. The cake was beautiful, and also DELICIOUS! He got us the size we wanted while keeping us at an affordable budget. The wedding cake was exactly what my daughter-in-law had envisioned! Not only was it beautiful and very close to the inspiration pics I sent, but it was truly a delicious cake! Mark allows you to mix and match cake flavors and fillings for a unique-to-you dessert. Not a single piece was leftover!

Selecting Mark as our cake vendor for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made! Mark pours his creativity into his cake flavor profiles and design of his cakes. We wanted something simple for our design (we went with a heavy spackled buttercream design with floral arrangements from our florist), but had a lot of fun working with Mark on multiple mix-n-match cake flavors and fillings for our tiers. Two of our tiers had almond cake as the first and third cake layers with chocolate marble cake as the middle layer and two different fillings - raspberry buttercream and Oreo buttercream filling - ALL in the same tier!! This was my first pick. My fiance loved Mark's strawberry-infused marble with crushed pineapple buttercream filling - and we were able to make this combination happen too on the two other tiers! And the whole cake was covered by a THICK layer of Mark's incredible Swiss Vanilla buttercream (big icing fan here). Outside of the excellent product and extremely reasonable pricing, Mark was very easy to communicate with and prompt and thorough in his responses. Our cake tasting with him really sealed the deal! We could tell right away that we had found an authentic baker and wonderful professional. THANK YOU MARK!!

The groom's cake Mark made for our rehearsal dinner left everyone speechless! It looked like it came straight off of a tv show! It exceeded every expectation I had by miles! We loved it so much that we ended up saving it overnight so we could display and eat it during our wedding reception. Mark is so incredibly talented and I would definitely recommend him to anyone wanting a beautifully decorated, delicious cake!

Mark was so amazing. I seen his work on IG and immediately fell in love. He responses quickly which is always a plus. I'm not actually a cake person so I was unsure of what I wanted and when all the cakes at the tasting was so good it was difficult to decide. He was so patient with me, even when I changed the design and color of my cake about 3/4 times. I've always heard that fondant dries out cakes so I was just sure my cake would be dry but it wasn't. It was so moist and was just as good as it were during the tasting and it was beautiful. Just like the picture I sent as I changed the cake yet again. The best part is, he was not overpriced. He worked with you and gave you time for changes in guest count and design. He was just amazing to work with. I'll be using him for all other special occasions from now on.

As many others have stated, I really don't know where to start when reviewing this amazing service. Mark and his team at Baker's Man Inc. were truly spectacular at every single turn. My wife Mandy and I were one of the many couples that had to shift their wedding date due to COVID 19. Mark was able to accommodate this shift without any frustration and laid to rest any worries that we had. It's worth noting that the product that Mark and his team provide is second-to-none. The flavors of their cakes are PERFECTLY balanced. Truly, the best cakes my wife and I have had in our entire lives. I normally don't find wedding cakes to be enjoyable because it tends to be overly sweet/sugary. Mark's recipes are truly wonderful and, no matter what flavor you pick (we had five) you will not be disappointed. Seriously, if you want your guests to be raving about the cake for months after the actual event, go and talk with Mark and his team at Baker's Man Inc. Mark and his team at Baker's Man are the real deal! Not only did they create a beautiful and delicious cake, but they were so easy to work with! They are very responsive, flexible and provided a tasting box for us. We couldn't decide our favorite flavor, so we did a different flavor combination on each layer. They were all incredible! Bakers man was the first and only bakery my husband and I visited. After having our tasting apportionment, we were sure enough that it’s the one. Mark provided us with a variety of flavors, each flavor tasted better than the other. We ended up selecting chocolate marble with oreo cookies and buttercream, and the other tier was a white chocolate cake with lemon curd buttercream that has raspberry marmalade & key lime curd buttercream( So delicious) his cake was that yummy that I couldn't resist and ate some of our anniversary topper the next day of our wedding :) I showed Mark a picture of what I wanted, and man that cake was everything I asked for and more! It looked better than the picture I found on Pinterest. He also delivered it to our venue himself ON TIME! Even though the traffic was very bad on our wedding day to the point where most of our guests arrived late!! I definitely recommend getting your cake from this bakery especially if it's a special occasion! Thank you so much Mark, you were very friendly and professional.

The sampling was very generous with various cake and buttercream flavors to try and it makes the decision really hard because they're all so good! In fact, we ended up using all 4 of our top 4 in our wedding cake and groom's table desserts because we just loved them all so much and wanted to share them with our friends and families. I had a very specific design that I had found on Pinterest and brought the picture with me. I told him how in love I was with the cake design and wanted it to look exactly like the picture. He said they'd never done one like that but looked forward to the challenge. And when it showed up on our wedding day, it DID NOT disappoint! The cake was GORGEOUS and looked just like I wanted. I still get comments from friends about how beautiful the cake was. Believe me, your every expectation from taste to design will be exceeded if you go with Baker's Man for your wedding cake! Wow I truly don’t know where to start!!! From the start Mark blew us away with his delicious cakes and treats and professionalism! We told him that we would like a wedding cake and some mini treats for our guests, when we went for our tasting he surprised us with having some mini treats available for us to taste along with the cake! The flavors were so good that we decided on a few flavors for our different tiers. I also decided to surprise my fiancé with a grooms cake which was OUT OF THIS WORLD!! My inspiration photo does not even compare to what Mark produced for us! Not only was my fiancé so surprised and blown away but I was too! It was better than what I asked for! And not to mention tasted AMAZING!! Our guests absolutely loved all the mini treats and of course the cake too! We hardly had any leftovers because everyone had multiple pieces! We couldn’t recommend him more!!! Can’t wait to use Baker’s Man for future events!

Baker’s Man was our number one choice for our wedding cake. Our wedding was on October 31st; my wife and I wanted something with a Halloween theme but still elegant. Baker’s Man took our ideas and visions and made it reality. Baker’s Man provided a service like no other. Our guests raved about the cake and how absolutely delicious it was. Mark was amazing! He was able to work with our changing of wedding date because of the coronavirus. Also gave us exactly what we were imagining for our special day. We are still hearing from guests how beautiful and tasty our wedding cake was. Mark really took the time to sit with us and bring our vision to life to create the perfect cake I had in mind. He tries to do something different for everyone so people don’t have the exact same cake. The flavors he offers are unique and designed to complement each other instead of overpowering. Each tier of our cake had two separate flavors that complimented each other. For instance, we had almond cake and key lime for one of the tiers. Absolutely delicious.

I contacted Baker's Man Inc to create a grooms cake for my son's rehearsal dinner. From the first contact I had with Mark he was very quick to respond to calls and emails. He understood exactly what I wanted and man did he deliver. My son is into woodworking and vintage hand tools. Mark created a custom tool box with a saw, wood plane and other tools. The cake looked so real that our guests thought it was a prop. He definitely delivers in quality, taste, artistic creativity and professionalism. Mark is equally brilliant as both the chef and owner. Baker's Man was the only tasting I attended because I was so impressed with the quality, professionalism, and delicious cake! I cancelled the other tastings after meeting Mark. He is extremely knowledgeable on constructing his creations and will have an honest conversation with you about your dream cake. My dream cake turned out exactly as I had hoped. It was hard to convince my new husband to save the top tier for our first anniversary - he wanted to eat it the day after, as well!

Our wedding cake was an absolute dream come true!!! Breathtaking doesn't even begin to describe how beautiful it was. Mark is a cake genius. He not only executed the design that I gave him (which was inspired by several different cakes combined into one), but the flavor options he provided surpassed our expectations. We went with a delicious vanilla 3 layer cake with a layer of raspberry butter cream and a layer of lemon curd. DROOLING as I think about it. It was light, refreshing, and not terribly sweet. For our grooms cake, he created a traditional round cake with marble and OREO buttercream layers in between topped with chocolate ganache. It was a serious crowd pleaser, with not even a crumb left over. The cake was honestly the focal point of our reception. Our guests were amazed at our giant tower of a creation, covered in sweet little pearl drops of icing and bold cascading flowers. Mark, I can't begin to thank you and the Bakers Man team enough. You brought our dream to life, and we are so thankful.

We made the mistake of doing our cake tasting with Mark first because after that any other cake tasting could not compare. He provided so many flavors options that it was hard to decide because they were all delicious. The icing is what sold us. We are not a fan of fondant and wanted buttercream. The buttercream was so light and airy it was amazing. We loved that Mark incorporated multiple flavors and fillings in each tier of cake. Mark helped us decide on the amount of cake we needed for our wedding. He helped us decide on the design of the bridal and groom’s cake (#mustangtheme). The groom’s cake was a mustang tire and it was detailed all the way down to the actual tread. The cake was so good that my family wanted to take it all home. All the guests raved about both the bridal and the groom’s cake. For the bridal cake we selected white chocolate and raspberry marble layers with key lime and mandarin orange fillings. Stunningly beautiful wedding cake - absolutely perfect. So delish as well - self proclaimed "cake snobs" commented how delicious is was!

You can't go wrong with Mark! He made our dream cake. From start to finish, he was absolutely amazing. He helped us come up with a beautiful design as well as flavors!! It was absolutely gorgeous and tasted delicious! It was more beautiful than I imagined. We were so lucky to have Mark work with us and help make our day special.

If you are looking for someone to turn your dream cake into a reality, look No further. Baker’s Man Inc are the absolute best. I search and search and searched for someone to make the perfect wedding cake for my Wife and I; each time I thought I found someone I ended up at a dead end. Talking to Mark and describing what my vision was for my cake was the most fun. Seem like he took his self out of Baker mode and inserted himself into my head to see exactly what I wanted. He gave his recommendations and I trusted him completely if he needed to change something. The final outcome was nowhere near what I pictured. He exceeded my expectations. My wife expectations. My wedding party expectations and my guest. I will always use Mark and his crew for any specialty cake I need. He responded to emails almost instantly or in a timely matter. He worked hard considering we were deployed and very limited to things stateside. The level of professionalism was absolutely remarkable.

I had the pleasure of working with Mark from Baker’s Man Inc. for my October 2017 wedding. Mark is definitely an established expert in his field and I would encourage everyone to look his way for their big day! He offers a wide variety of fillings, frostings, flavors, and designs. Mark had a lovely lookbook for us to gain ideas and was also very receptive to the photo examples we brought with us to our tasting. On the day of our wedding, Mark delivered us the most delicious, and stunning cake, we ever could have imagined. I had a number of people tell me it was the best cake they have ever eaten! If you are looking for a cake that looks AND tastes amazing---look no further!!!! As soon as I tried Mark's cake at the tasting there was absolutely no question that we would be hiring Baker's Man Inc. for our wedding. His cakes are absolutely delicious AND he makes the most incredible designs I have ever seen (Food Network worthy). He can literally make ANY vision come to life. We had a 'naked' cake for our wedding and it was one of the most talked about features of the night. I think I gained 5lbs just eating the leftovers--I couldn't stop!! 10 stars for Baker's Man!!

Mark did an amazing job with our wedding! He was great at communicating and did a fantastic job with our cake. I had a cake I really loved and he did it perfectly. The cake was delicious!!! Everyone loved it! I went in thinking we were going to get a traditional raspberry filling, but we fell in love with the strawberry marmalade filling! It was amazing! After saying yes to that, he combined two samples together, a key lime filling and the strawberry marmalade filling and WOW. It was perfection! So each slice of cake went: buttercream frosting on the outside, white cake, key lime filling, strawberry marble cake, strawberry marmalade filling, white cake. It was the best tasting cake ever. It sounds a little different and kind of like it should be in different cake layers, but the flavors just made it perfect, so trust me, sample those together! Thank you Mark! <3 Taylor and Stephen

Mark's cakes were delicious, and he was so easy to work with! The tasting was very organized, and he was able to give me a vision of what I wanted. I wasnt sure exactly what I was looking for but mark made it very easy to choose. I left with confidence that the cake would be great. Unfortunately I don't have a picture yet but my wedding cake was absolutely gorgeous. I highly suggest Baker's Man! Even the name is catchy.

Mark went above and beyond, we wanted a lot of flavor in our cake and thats exactly what we got. I brought in 2 Pinterest pictures of marble and gold and he made both happen. Lots of compliments on the cake and the key lime and raspberry flavors that complimented the vanilla.
