Bakers of Buffington was great to work with! They gave very generous samples, which were so delicious! They were super accommodating for what our vision was which included using sentimental ivy around the cake. And most importantly the cake was absolutely delicious! Our guests loved it as did we! I can't wait for our first anniversary to have the rest of it!!

Amazingly delicious wedding cake. We tried a couple of vendors and knew this was the one for us at the first bite. SO moist, and flavors were so good - we went with the carrot and red velvet cakes with cream cheese icing. Soooo good! Definitely going back!

A plain yellow cake with strawberry filling may sound very basic, but this was by far one of the top 2 cakes I have ever had in over 50 years! It was incredibly moist and the cake to icing ratio was just perfect (that's our own personal test!) Many bakeries can make a pretty cake, but not all can make a beautiful cake that tastes good too! The guests at our wedding raved about the taste, and I can honestly say I say I rarely eat more than one piece of cake. Yes, my husband and I ate the leftover cake when we came home from the wedding, the next morning for breakfast and the day after that too! It was incredible! 5 stars all the way!

Our cake was so delicious and was decorated to a style that we like! Bakers of Buffington was the best choice for our wedding cake! A great price, many options of flavors, and willing to decorate however we expressed! We did a top layer cake for ourselves & cupcakes for our guests. Everyone said they were delicious! At our consultation, our sample cakes were awesome and bigger than expected. We bought extra samples and it was a great price for the size of the sample! We loved this local bakery and they delivered and setup on time and perfectly! I highly recommend Bakers for any cakes you ever need!

Bakers of Buffington was the cake baker for our wedding venue and we and our guests loved the cake! We got multiple flavors but the fan favorite was definitely the pound cake. We worked with Amanda who was super nice right off the bat to bring our fall wedding cake vision to life, including trying the delicious sample cakes which were large enough to share with friends. I will say that it was difficult to reach the bakery at times due to them not really using email and the phone lines being very busy, but it did not affect any of our scheduling or cake delivery. Everything looked great and we loved it!

Bakers of Buffington is an amazing vendor to work with! From the start of the relationship with the cake tasting (which was so fantastic) to the final executed cake for our wedding, Bakers of Buffington was the best vendor! Brittany did an amazing job executing our vision of an incredibly tasty and beautiful cake with three layers of different flavors decorated with various colors flowers and green ribbon at the base of each layer. Our guests could not stop talking about how fantastic the cake tasted that we actually had multiple guests go up for two pieces and even asked if there were spares for them to take home with them. The delivery team did a great job getting the cake to the venue and setup on time for the special day. We used Bakers of Buffington for our wedding cake. They were very easy to work with. We showed them our idea for the wedding cake and they made it exactly how we had pictured it. They have a ton of different options and combinations for flavors and allowed us to do multiple in one cake which was great!

I love Bakers of Buffington!! My husband and I were supposed to get married April 2020 but then had to reschedule five times. Each time they were so easy and awesome to work with. We did a small cake with cupcakes. The cupcakes were such a hit and I love how it all turned out. The cake and cupcakes tasted AMAZING!! I highly recommend them!

Bakers of Buffington worked with me to make the best wedding cake! I brought real flowers from my florist and they decorated my cake with them. The taste was phenomenal and everyone raved about it!

Unfortunately the cake looked nothing like we asked for. Was disappointing walking into the wedding and seeing the cake for the first time. I think an extra conversation could have prevented some of the issues.

We will never use another bakery while we live in the Philadelphia area for special occasions. We have nothing but great things to say about Bakers of Buffington. The cake is by far the best tasting cake we have had. My husband enjoyed the tasting the most as we were not pressured into using this bakery but encouraged to enjoy the moment (unlike any other bakery we visited). Any questions we had were answered with kindness and we were not made to feel like an inconvenience but like family. The flavor choices, the employees, the designs. We loved every aspect of our experience. The bakery kept in touch, worked with our vision, and made our day even more special. We did not come home with an overwhelming amount of cake after the wedding either (a testament to the quality). Our families and friends loved the cake as well and some have already started planning trips up to the bakery even though it is close to an hour from where we all live.

We LOVED Bakers of Buffington! They not only were delicious and created a beautiful cake, they were so flexible and accommodating with the Covid-19 rescheduling we did. They really made things so much less stressful and were willing to work things out throughout our rescheduling process. We got so many compliments on our cake at the wedding and many people went up for seconds! We would recommend them anytime and look forward to going back for our future events!

I LOOOOVE Bakers of Buffington. They have always been a favorite bakery of mine, from birthday to Easter to other special occasion cakes, and my wedding cake was no different! I was very pleased to find out they were partnered with my wedding venue, so everything was prepaid and included in that fee. They allowed for multiple cake tastings (give you a small cake to take home!) at for just a small fee after the initial (price included) tasting. They met with us to review what they could do and what we would want, and everything was delivered on time to the venue on the day of. They will always be my go-to bakery, and I was so lucky to have them cater our wedding.

Bakers of Buffington was recommended by our venue, French Creek Golf Club. Lyndsey was wonderful to work with. At our first meeting, we told her about our "vintage travel" wedding theme and showed her a few ideas that we had. She suggested a few ideas, and we then combined our ideas with her ideas and ended up with a beautiful (and delicious) cake. You are actually given a six inch cake for each flavor that you sample--this was great as it allowed us to share flavors with our parents to get their input. We were able to have different flavors for each tier. We went with chocolate chip and lemon cake with raspberry filling--both flavors were delicious and we had many guests ask where we got our cake! Delicious! I am not a cake person but i would literally eat this cake EVERY DAY! The smell of the bakery itself just fills your heart with joy. They were great to work with and more importantly the cake was EXACTLY what we wanted/hoped for. Nothing but perfection...and people raved about our cake all night too. Bakers of Buffington made our wedding cake and it was exactly as we designed! First we had a consultation with Lyndsey who knew exactly what we were looking for. We also had tried multiple cakes to test flavors (which are each 6” cakes!)! We ended up doing different tiers: Vanilla cake with strawberry filling, chocolate chip cake with mocha filling, and chocolate cake with peanut filling. We have had many guests say how amazing each flavor was! We even went the extra mile and paid extra for gumdrop flowers and they looked so real. I loved it and recommend them for your wedding cake!!

Wow! Bakers of Buffington exceeded our expectations. The beach scene theme cake was exactly what we hoped for. Lindsay listened to what we wanted and created the perfect cake for our daughter’s wedding celebration. And, it was delicious too!

We really loved the cake at Bakers of Buffington. The baker we worked with, Amanda, was very professional and worked within our budget to help us get the design we wanted (white scrolling on a colored background!). The flavor options were phenomenal (we chose lemon with raspberry filling and red velvet!) and the price is way better than most other professional wedding cake bakers. They were also super easy to work with and on top of things to get the cake delivered on time. Nearly all the cake was gone at the end of the wedding! We highly recommend Bakers of Buffington!

The cake was amazing and after a week it was still soft and moist to eat! They delivered exactly what I wanted and the flavors were perfect! Not to mention the pricing was great for what I wanted!

Bakers of Buffington is wonderful! They’re gluten free almond cake was so incredibly delicious. Not only that, I had a unique vision for my cake and they made it happen. Our wedding cake turned out beautiful and working with BOB was easy. The only thing I wish we could've had prior to the wedding was a sketch of what our cake might look like. However, based on photos I sent from the internet, they took my vision and created a beautiful and delicious cake.

Our wedding cake from Bakers of Buffington was included with our venue's package, but that in no way compromised the quality and service we received from them! We took home 4 samples of cake to try and talked through our vision for the cake during our meeting with Amanda Brooks. She jotted down a sketch and some notes, and executed our 4-tiered cake perfectly. It was one of our favorite parts of our whole wedding!

Yum, yum, YUM!!!! Bakers of Buffington has the best cake I've ever had at a wedding. I am still getting compliments from our wedding day. Amanda worked with us at our tasting to create the cake of our dreams. There were many samples and pictures to help guide us, but we were also able to use our own ideas. We had a large wedding, and she assured us, we would have enough tiers. The best part-- each tier could have a different flavor. :) I also worked with Bakers of Buffington for the groom's cake for the rehearsal dinner. It was boxed wonderfully, easy to display, and matched what I wanted PERFECTLY. You will not be disappointed with them as your bakery for your wedding day.

Absolutely amazing! We had our wedding at French Creek Golf Club and I can definitely see why Bakers of Buffington is their preferred cake vendor. I had the privilege of working with Lindsey for my wedding cake. I wanted a simple design that reflected how my husband and I have been together since we were 15. This is exactly what I got! When. I came into the venue and saw my Cake for the first time I was speechless. It was beautiful. The silhouettes were perfect and so neat. The cake tasted amazing too!

Bakers of Buffington was one of the two vendors we had to choose from as our cake was included with our venue. We definitely made a great choice. The cost of the design elements that were not included with the venue contract was very minimal. They carried out our the design beautifully and the cake was delicious. They also created a gorgeous travel themed groom's cake for our rehearsal dinner.

About 12 years ago, my Aunt bought two cakes from Bakers of Buffington for my sister's engagement party. When it came time for my wedding, I happened to be getting married in Lancaster, PA and my sister said I had to use Bakers of Buffington. We didn't even go in for samples. We wanted a really simple two layered wedding cake, buttercream frosting, vanilla cake. They were so flexible in helping us achieve what we wanted for our wedding, which was our two layered cake and sheet cakes. The cake was amazing. They have kept their standards up for over a decade and I wish I lived closer so I could get cakes from them for every special occasion! We loved working with them and my husband, who is not into sweets, loved the cake. We ate left overs for a few days it was that good! This bakery is amazing!

I'm typically not a big fan of wedding cake but was very pleased with flavor options at Bakers of Buffington. We particularly enjoyed the almond cake and chocolate chip. They were great to work with and we were very happy with the outcome as were our guests!

I have gotten my birthday cake from Bakers of Buffington since I was born, and I am not 24. Their cakes are so much different than all the rest, completely moist and absolutely delicious. I was saddened when I decided to have my wedding in Lancaster, thinking the travel distance would be too great for this Downingtown bakery. To my surprise, their travel charge was extremely low and they were willing to deliver to Lancaster! My guests told me they have never seen such a beautiful wedding cake, and were even more excited when I told them it was from Bakers of Buffington. Our flavors were pound cake with raspberry filling and lemon with lemon filling, a hit with everyone at the wedding. Once you try this bakery you will never try another!!

Lyndsey helped us from beginning to end and created us the perfect cake. They cake was just as beautiful as it was tasty. Everyone loved it. The customer service at Bakers of Buffington is excellent. Very easy to get ahold of and ask questions.
