Baker's Pride

Bakers pride did a nice taste testing. On the day of our cake was delivered on time and promptly. However the had a different icing than we requested. The cake was still good but not exactly what we wanted.

Hands down, best cake around! This is NOT wedding cake guys—this is like real, fresh, homemade cakes. Taste was the most important thing to me but with Baker’s Pride you really can have it all because the look, the size, everything else is also stunning. I had multiple guests mention “wow that was actually dessert” or “that didn’t taste like a wedding cake!” To top it all off, they are amazing to work with and you will not worry about a thing. Highly recommend the hummingbird flavor—fan fav over here! I really can’t say enough good things, except that I’m sad I don’t have a slice right now :)

Amazing customer service! Great cake. We used them for our wedding cake and loved them from the moment we walked in. They gave us so many cake flavors to try and were so accommodating during Covid about letting us change cake sizes. The cake looked and tasted wonderful as well. They also brought us treats the morning of the wedding a coupon to use around our one year anniversary so we didn't have to eat stale cake.

I can't say enough about Baker's Pride! I selected them after seeing and tasting their cake at a friend's wedding and I can say with confidence that my wedding cake was the best cake I've ever had. The cake was so beautifully done and looked clean and professional all while tasting so flavorful and fresh. I had a 4 tiered wedding cake and a sheet cake for a groom's cake and I was completely thrilled with the look and taste of both cakes. I will definitely be back for more cakes whenever I can make up an excuse to need a cake!

My cake was so beautiful and delicious! Trish was so helpful through email since this was a destination wedding. The design was so simple and elegant and the red velvet was just amazing!

Our cake was so delicious and amazing. They also provide a certificate for your anniversary cake so that you don't have to haul the top tier around for a year! Very kind staff and accommodated our unusual delivery time. They're awesome!

We live out of town so all communication other than the cake tasting was done over the phone. Everyone was very nice and the cake was delicious. I love that they give you a certificate for your one year anniversary cake instead of having to celebrate with a one year old frozen top layer! Who has room for that?!

Any local of Savannah will tell you that the best baked goods in the area come from Baker's Pride! It is a locally-owned "mom and pop" bakery with delicious cakes and goodies. My husband and I tasted cakes all over Savannah just for the fun of it, but we always knew we would choose Baker's Pride. The cake was delicious and beautiful, and literally HALF the price of some other Savannah bakeries. Even the cake tasting experience was great - we took home a dozen cupcakes for sampling! While you're in the bakery, make sure you try a glazed donut. They're the best in town! :)

Absolutely perfect! Looked incredible (we wanted a plainer, textured buttercream cake and all I had to do was send them some pictures!) and tasted phenomenal!!! I was extra happy that we were able to do a different cake flavor for each of the layers of our cake (at no extra cost) and that they have such a variety of unique and delicious cakes. We went with red velvet, chocolate, and hummingbird cake (which was my favorite!). Were responsive to any and all questions, and their prices were beyond reasonable. Also super excited that we didn't have to freeze a layer of the cake because they give you a free anniversary cake a year after the wedding!

The wedding cake was the hint my husband was most concerned about at our daughter's wedding and Bakers Pride did not disappoint! Some guests went back for thirds. I would highly recommend them for any event that need desserts. Cake was beautiful and delicious! Thanks!

You cannot beat Baker's Pride for taste or value. For a fraction of the price I was quoted for wedding cakes, they presented me with a three-tier cakes and a full dessert table. The cake was three different flavors - hummingbird and strawberry with cream cheese is the way to go! It was beautiful, and the cannolis, bourbon bars, lemon bars and cookies went fast as well. They were really accommodating about allowing me to tweak the order the week before the wedding as the guest count changed, and it just felt very laid back and reassuring whenever I spoke with them - especially since I was planning the wedding from a few states away. From the initial tasting to the night of, I've been super glad this is the bakery I went with. The cake was delicious and I love that they give you a certificate for a fresh cake on your anniversary. I would highly recommend using Baker's Pride for weddings, and would definitely use them for other events in the future.

Baker's Pride did a great job with my wedding cake and the groomsman's cake! They looked even better than what we had in mind, plus they were delicious!!! Both cakes were delivered to our reception space exactly when they were supposed to be! Would definitely use them again!

We had visited a couple bakeries and just didn't get the vibe that we wanted and couldn't find what we were looking for at a reasonable cost. We weren't looking for anything fancy – just 5 round cakes and one small 2 tier cake. Some people wanted an arm and a leg to do it. My cousin, a wedding planner in the business for the last 25 years, send us straight over to Baker’s pride. We were greeted with huge smiles (we had no appointment) and Rodney sat down with us and handed us two large photo albums and told us to have at it and find what we’re looking for. We found 6 differently decorated cakes and Rodney said that there was no extra charge and he took the photos and photo copied them all – we gave him color swatches and he took that as well. He gave us a total price and it was more than fair and sent us home with 12 sample cupcakes (very large cupcakes!) with all the different flavors and icings. We offered to pay for them and he said no – wow. What customer service! He’s always returned phone calls and been happy to help. The cakes arrived on time and looked absolutely stunning – we couldn’t have been happier! They gave us a huge box of donuts/pastries (to die for!) and pastries on our wedding day when they delivered the cakes (so much, it lasted us two days!) and a certificate to come back next year for our one year anniversary cake. I’m telling you – you’d be silly to go with any fancy bakery. Their cakes are far superior tasting to anything that costs loads of money and they were so beautiful. Love these people!

Baker's Pride was so easy to work with! My wedding cake was absolutely beautiful! It was beyond what I could have imagined. The best part was that it tasted just as good as it looked!

My biggest fear was that I would have to get a ton of left-over cake home and figure out what to do with it - Baker's pride's cake was so good, they took care of that for me. There was PLENTY of cake to go around, but guests were so crazy of the strawberry and cream cheese icing they were requesting to-go boxes. It was so moist and absolutely beautiful! I've always been a huge Baker's pride fan, and not I may just be their biggest one ever! BEST WEDDING CAKE!!! Grooms cake was SUPER cute and delish too!

My cake was exactly as I wanted. Baker's Pride did an amazing job, and the cake was some of the best I have ever tasted. The other places in town that charge A LOT more could take lessons from this place. Perfection!

Baker's Pride was great! They decorated our wedding cake beautifully! The cake tasted great and the design was prefect! I brought in a picture of my dress and they incorporated two different designs from the dress onto 2 tiers of the cake. I got a custom cake at an affordable price. They have a few designs that they do a lot and were very excited when I brought something new to the table. I highly recommend Baker's Pride! And, every time we went they sent us home with a box of cupcakes!

Trisha @ Baker's Pride was so sweet! They were very affordable and the quailty of the cake was great. She designed it just the way we had in mind! The only thing that disappointed me I wish they would have let the venue know that we had different flavors on each tier, only the lemon and rasberry got served and I didnt even get any. I ended up with a ton of the chocolate afterwards and was a bit upset. I guess that should have been discussed. I would still recommed them to any bride!

They were very accommodating when I spoke with them about our cake. I didn't give them a ton of direction but they delivered a really beautiful simple yummy cake. Everyone loved it.
