Absolutely loved everything about our special day here!!! Kelly was amazing every step of the way in answering questions and was very quick to reply. With the right decorations, planning and weather this was the perfect location for an October woodsy wedding, the leaves have changed color, the exhibit area is awesome for showcasing fun facts about the park, and you have a beautiful view of the pond for photos.

We had our wedding at Bethesda Church (on Trap Pond’s grounds) and our reception at Baldcypress Nature Center. Kelly was wonderful to work with and so accommodating. We were able to get into the space the day before to set up our decorations. The church is gorgeous and was the perfect spot for our ceremony. We loved the big windows in the nature center and were able to fit 7 guest tables, a head table and plenty of dance floor space in the nature center’s event room. We were also able to have our food vendor set up in the nature center itself which was great. We had a perfect experience at Baldcypress Nature Center!

We had our ceremony at Bethesda Methodist Church (a historic church on the other side of the park) and our reception at the nature center. Everyone we worked with was wonderful and patient, and even helped us set up for the reception! This is an amazing lodge-feeling venue that gave us a cozy reception with a terrific outdoor patio for dancing. I give this venue two thumbs up!
