nce. While setting up, my friend asked me why I wasn't more frazzled. It's because the staff does so much that there is not much to worry about. We worked with Katrina and she was very flexible with our needs and wants. If we had a problem, she fixed it. The guests only had great things to say about the food we chose.

y and you can see cars driving past the lake where your ceremony would take place. It's not in an attractive part of town and everything looked dead upon arrival. Our wedding planner Emily did assure us they would take care of the greenery for our wedding but we were still skeptical given it would be an early spring wedding. Either way we did decide to move forward and we paid the initial deposit. We did read through the contract so it is on us for following through with their deposit cancelation agreement. Due to unforeseen circumstances we decided to cancel with the Baldoria to which the contract states we would receive 50% of our deposit back once another couple books the date we reserved. It's been almost a year and apparently nobody has booked the date so we will be out of our full deposit. We reserved a Saturday in the spring, so I'm surprised it is not yet booked. When I call to check on the status we were told Emily no longer works there and I worry they wouldn't let me know either way now if the date is rebooked or not.

I loved all the Italian details throughout the indoor and outdoor spaces- it's absolutely gorgeous and we got so many compliments from wedding guests. The staff, and Emily in particular, were AMAZING to work with. So responsive, so helpful, so flexible. We didn't even need a separate day-of or wedding coordinator because Emily basically did all of that for us and handled everything on the rehearsal and day-of. We did an Italian buffet and thought the food was great, too! We loved how everything was customizable. Can't say enough about how much we loved having our wedding here!

e had limited decorations because the place is gorgeous on it's own. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The BBQ and cheesecake we selected were very good! The rooms to get ready in for the bride and groom allowed us stress free prep time. I literally have zero complaints (and I'm a picky person!). I've grown up in Colorado my entire life and attended many weddings. This venue is the top in the state in my opinion. I can't say enough good things.

Linda personally met with us multiple times to go over decisions such as: the venue and ceremony setup, cuisine and alcohol options, just to name a few. Linda is an amazing person and we are beyond thankful for her dedication and commitment to help make our wedding day beautiful and elegant. ng. Kelley mentioned her planner left less than 1 month before her wedding but the planner that took over made everything easy and was so much better than her first two planners she had. I appreciate my girl friend was able to have such a easy day. Thank you Baldoria in the Water.

o eat. She packaged food to go for one of our friends that has been ill and even offered to load it into her car. I saw her checking in with different staff members throughout the night making sure they were ok and doing well. As someone who works in Human Resources I truly appreciate seeing a manager putting the well being of their staff at the forefront of all other responsibilities. That being said, she was attentive and always stopped to chat with guests and check in on Lani and Noah at their mini table. Such great service! I enjoyed myself thoroughly.

verything indoors. That in itself was a huge heartbreak but she was able to pull everything together and it looked beautiful. The only downfall wasn't her fault, but I had spent hours making all of my decorations and favor boxes, but they were never even unpacked. Tabitha didn't want me to go to the venue to keep me from stressing out, but that unfortunately backfired. My Maids of Honor, Best Men, Brother, and Mom all went to the venue the day before the wedding to set everything that I made up. They unfortunately had to help set up tables and do the linens instead, so my favors now have to be mailed out to everyone. Aside from that I was extremely pleased with Tabitha and the Venue. We had to end everything a few hours early do to guests leaving. Tabitha handled it with class, and even managed to do the last few fun things. (Bouquet toss, garder toss, sparkler exit) Thank you Tabitha and Baldoria!

During our multiple visits to Colorado, the Baldoria accommodated our schedule and went through marathon planning sessions with us to help coordinate our wedding day, conducted multiple food tastings, and allowed us to meet with vendors who needed access to the venue to help us plan. The food tastings were incredible and they have great chefs who were able to put together multiple meals for us including Asian food, Italian food, and Indian food. Marion was our coordinator and she (along with the manager Linda) did a FANTASTIC job. Marion completely took the stress off of me and was hands on the entire time, handling everything we needed her to in order to ensure that the day went smoothly. The Baldoria went so above and beyond for the planning sessions that we decided to use them as a catering service for our pre-wedding event and they help us set up food and rental for the table settings for this event. Our wedding had so many moving parts with two full wedding ceremonies, cocktail hour, and reception in one long 16 hour day requiring flipping of multiple indoor and outdoor spaces in a short time span. The Baldoria staff and my decorator handled the whole event and it went flawlessly. We really appreciated appreciated the energy and care that went into our event. I would give this venue TEN STARS if I could! They really helped make our vision a reality and we couldn’t be happier with our experience!

unicate with anyone that we were coming in. When we returned, the person helping us was extremely rude. She asked me multiple times what our date was, and still returned with a quote that had the wrong date. She was very rude to my mother as well and didn’t even give us a full tour. We were so disappointed with the second tour that we decided to book else where. Really wish it had worked out since the venue itself is so gorgeous!

y has 1 wedding a day which is a huge advantage during wedding season in CO! We also loved that there's hotels so close by for our guests!

erfect for a beautiful ceremony! I cannot tell you how many of the guests came up to us throughout the night and said how beautiful everything was. I especailly loved that it really didn't need a lot of decoration. It is already so beautiful! I also need to worship the Baldoria staff! The food was so delicious, and Emily was absolutely amazing in making our day so special! She always took the time to answer our questions and offered different suggestions when we weren't sure what we wanted! The day could not have gone more smoothly. There are plenty of hotels nearby for out-of-town guests, and you can always keep the party going at the Old Chicago nearby, it was a huge hit! Definitely put this venue on your list! he European feel, the ability to have lots of guests, the Colorado air, and just an amazing crew to work with- and to top it off- amazing food. It took the catering hassle out of the wedding planning. The food was delicious! Karin was absolutely one of a kind. She made the wedding planning process so easy. She had such incredible ideas, helpful hints, and a personality that just made you feel so welcome. She danced the night away with us and we happily felt as though she was just another guest at our wedding. She made Baldoira just that much better. I highly recommend Baldoira for any couple looking for the ease, beauty, and a grand wedding!

not what sets it apart! The staff is amazing. Karen went above and beyond on all of my needs and requests. She made all of my dreams come true. My event captain, Vito, was phenomenal. I am still hearing from guets how great he was! I cannot suggest them enough!!

The ceremony was moving and emotional; the guests were eager and happy; the weather held up well for an outdoor ceremony; the florist, baker, DJ, and photographers all performed well; the dinner was delicious and timely. The glue that held it all together was the team at Baldoria on the Water. Jayleen Wood, who headed the team, was thorough in her up front planning. From well coordinated tastings of the menu to tying down the schedule and the details of a smooth event, she remained professional, friendly, thorough, helpful, interested, and completely competent. As mother-of-the bride, I was able to enjoy the entire event without a worry. If something occurred to me that might cause worry, Jayleen had already taken care of it. I recommend Baldoria on the Water to any bride wishing to have a flawless wedding and to anyone planning a major event. You would do well to ask for Jayleen Wood as your coordinator.

ood. What a magnificent meal. I could not have done it without Jayleen. She is the best and had absolutely everything handled. I was so relaxed and calm on my wedding day because I knew Jayleen had everything under control. The entire staff was on point. My guests didn't have to worry about anything. Specifically the bartender. My father is a White Russian drinker. There was no cream to make his drink. The bartender left the venue to buy cream for my father's drinks. That was one of the nicest thing someone could have done for my father. He was so thankful. It was the little things the staff did that few people would have acknowledged. For that this is makes the venue 100% the best place to hold your next event.

The day of was rainy, but Bernice and Emily came up with a plan B and helped keep me calm up until the last minute when we decided to keep the ceremony outside. I couldn't have asked for a better venue and staff to help execute our big day. Simply the best!!

The day of the wedding couldn't have gone more perfect. Everything was on time and we had no hiccups. Baldoria has been nothing but kind to my family and I. They are very helpful and if you are looking for a venue that is AMAZING, then this is your place. Did I mention how great Karin was :)

The day of the wedding, she made sure everything ran smoothly. Occasionally through the whole process, it was a little hard to get in touch with anyone quickly because they're so busy (and understandably so), but in the end everything payed off and we're so glad we had our wedding at Baldoria!

a wedding. The staff was accommodating even when discussing our back up plan if the weather was bad which included moving all of the tables already set up in the ballroom. The weather was great though so it wasn't an issue. There were a few issues with communication throughout the whole process but the overall day was beautiful and a great success in the end. The Bride room is amazing and it is one of the few venues we found that actually had a space for the groomsmen that wasn't a converted closet!

ownfall was that we went through 3 coordinators in one year, with having to re-explain wishes and trying to clear up confusion. The last coordinator, Kayla, took over one month before the wedding and did a great job in bringing herself up to speed on everything. Everything turned out great and looked beautiful with her help. The food was wonderful by A Perfect Bite Catering. Except we really didn’t get to try the appetizers. We requested to have them to snack on while getting ready in the bridal and groom’s suite but were unable to accommodate that. The bridal suite gets really warm and they have an AC unit on wheels to help. The bridal suite toilet stopped working while we were getting ready but Kayla was quick to get a plummer out to fix it. All else Kayla was very attentive and helpful with the details. Thank you for settling our worries that last month.

The venue is gorgeous, the prices are reasonable (even with the open bar), and our guests raved about the food. I had a bunch of decorations and ideas and felt like I was constantly bugging Karin and she never made me feel like an annoyance. When we walked into the venue after our ceremony (at a church) my husband and I had our breath taken away with how gorgeous everything was. This venue is so amazing and includes everything (linens, chivari chairs, etc). I would definitely suggest this venue to others!

we wanted, they made happen. As soon as you walk into the venue, you feel like you are in a completely different place, it almost creates a destination vibe. Our wedding was in October and the colors surrounding the venue were breath taking. All of our guests complimented on how beautiful the venue was and also how amazing the food was (catered by Perfect Bite). On the day of the wedding Linda surprised us with a mac and cheese bar because they knew how much we wanted it. The bridal suite was nothing like I have seen anywhere else, everything we could possible need we had. Overall amazing experience, amazing venue!

nds me of an Italian winery with beautiful up-lighting in the different rooms and hallways. They have a indoor and outdoor bar, a kick ass groomsmen dressing room/locker room (lol), and a beautiful bridal suite. BUT the staff (LINDA) is not so friendly and does not return phone calls or emails to potential clients back. It's really too bad because I was really looking forward to working with her because I have read so many reviews about this place and her on wedding wire.com and the knot.com. My fiance and I are from California. We wanted to have our wedding in Denver because it's sort of in the middle for our families to meet. We picked a weekend in Sept. 2015 to come check out different venues and this place was one of them. Linda took several phone calls during our meeting and never emailed us the wedding package info until I went back there a 2nd time to compare this place with all the other vendors we had seen that weekend. She looked shocked when we showed back up with my mother to take a 2nd look. After she FINALLY emailed us, I read over the info she gave us and then I responded back. She then took 3-4 days to respond (oh did I mention that I called her once too to make sure that she received my email). Long story short this emailing thing kept happening for the past 3 weeks where I wait and hope and pray that Linda decides to email me or call me back. I have never received a phone call back yet (and yes I have asked in the mail when is a good time for her to talk so we can decide on when we should come back to Denver to taste food, cake, plan the wedding for that day, etc). Nor has she emailed me back since she sent over the proposal almost 1 week ago. For the people who read this and think that I'm complaining about a few days of not communicating, please take in consideration that when it is your turn to plan your wedding you would like a response ASAP. Most people book their wedding about 8 months to 1 year in advance and when your wedding date is gone...it's gone and you can not use the venue that you wanted and must look else where. It will drive you made not to have a place 6 months or so prior to your wedding. The other thing you have to think about is who do you send our wedding invitations with having a place to host your wedding at? Lastly think about this, right now you may be calm, cool, and collected but when it starts to get closer and closer to your wedding date you're going to want things done ASAP and you don't have time to deal with slow movers. It's your day and you should be able to enjoy it without stress.

he space they provided. Linda assured us from the very beginning that we would be able to accommodate any number of guests and communicated with us throughout the wedding planning process. The week of our wedding Linda reached out to me to give me the option to drop decor off ahead of time and the day of our wedding was fabulous with several people involved in ensuring everything ran smoothly. While we did find that it was helpful to have a friend verify everything was in place prior to our reception starting we received fabulous feedback that the Baldoria's staff was ready and willing to make any changes including cleaning up debris from the storm that had rolled through that afternoon. We are so grateful to the Baldoria for everything they did to make our wedding special.

LOT of questions. From booking, to choosing food, to discussing decorations, everything was easy and perfect! The day of staff was also very helpful and I had nothing to worry about as it went so smoothly. We planned on having an outdoor wedding but the day of, it was pouring. The transition to moving inside was very smooth and it was still beautiful! I really recommend this venue, and the price is great for what you get! We were on a pretty strict budget and Linda worked with us to make sure we stayed within it! The price I listed included the rental, rehearsal time, staffing, table rentals, and all linens and place settings!

le our tasting three times because she messed up what we wanted to try, forgot we had an appointment, and something came up. She suggested we use her sister restaurant for the rehearsal dinner. Sounded like a good idea until we showed up and they had one server for a party of 40! And it was his first day ever serving! We would have had better service at old chicagos next door without a reservation. The food was delish and had several people tell us the same. If you can deal with an unorganized wedding coordinator, might be worth a shot.
