Balinese Ballroom, leaving this review so others can make an informed choice. Alexis was kind and helpful, and I am sure everything will go perfectly. It seems to be a nice venue. ...
But if there’s a problem and you need a refund, be prepared for a difficult process.
In my case, I requested a $2,000 refund back to my card. After more than three weeks and multiple promised dates missed, the refund still wasn’t processed and I wasn’t provided any transaction confirmation/receipt.
I understand issues happen, but missed commitments and lack of verification made this far harder than it should have been. I would be cautious booking unless you’re fully comfortable with the iffy refund terms and the risk of having to escalate to your card company.
My wife and I had our perfect wedding here on New Year's Eve! The venue was gorgeous, and the people who assisted us with the food were amazing. Taylor helped us book the venue and...
organize the floor plan. She was very accommodating to whatever requests we had and made it very easy to work with her on our dream wedding. We would for sure book another event here in the future! The food was also great as we catered with them and went through a wonderful food tasting that gave us the full experience of what they had to offer us. We are so grateful to have found the Balinese Ballroom because we were struggling to find a venue that would do a NYE wedding. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for an amazing, beautiful, and affordable venue!
The Balinese Ballroom was the perfect venue for our wedding and reception! The beauty of the venue speaks for itself, but beyond that they have the best staff. From the start when ...
we toured the venue everyone was so kind and helpful. The venue manager, Taylor, was there to answer every single question we had as we prepared for our big day. Working with her was a joy! When we arrived the morning of our wedding, all of the staff, including the owner, did everything possible to ensure that our day ran smoothly and with ease. Their professionalism and kindness allowed me to feel calm and enjoy the day. Once the wedding started, Ann made sure that anything we needed we got. Not only did she make sure we were fed, but she packed us an entire bag of leftovers for later that night! She was a rockstar. We also chose to use The Balinese Ballrooms in house catering and it was hands down THE best decision. I wanted pizza and we ended up serving 3 different types of pizza, lasagna, Caesar salad, caprese skewers, and toasted ravioli. Our guests literally didn’t stop eating all night and were raving about the food wanting to know who our caterer was. Guests continued to tell us after the wedding that it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding! We can’t say enough good things about The Balinese Ballroom and its amazing staff. Would recommend them to anyone and everyone who will listen! - MC and Zach Herin 12.29.23

The staff are so easy to work with and very professional! We had our reception here - in the High Point room - and it could not have been better. The food was absolutely fantastic,...
the servers were helpful. The string lights in the room add the perfect touch and made the atmosphere warm. Parking was easy, every door has a security guard at every event and the location of the venue is in a cool area and close to anything downtown Memphis. Everyone talked about how much fun they had at the reception. I’m so thankful for the Balinese! It was absolutely stunning and they are some of the best!

d everything in between. We were down to the wire with only 4-5 months away from our wedding day with no idea where we were going to get married, until we took a tour at the Balinese Ballroom. And I fell in love INSTANTLY, choosing the downstairs ballroom with the beautiful white walls and gorgeous chandeliers. This venue is perfect for anyone who wants an intimate and cost-effective wedding and for anyone who's not afraid to put their own twist on things such as the decorations. Plus, Ashton is an absolute sweetheart and the rest of the crew at the Balinese Ballroom are easy to work with as well, making sure you have everything you need for your day. I could say a lot more but I've already typed up an entire novel. Thank You, Balinese Ballroom!

There is free parking for your guests and a doorman which is awesome! Highly recommend this spot for its flexibility, affordability and its absolute BEAUTY!
Ashton was amazing and so helpful! Everything was taken care of by the staff on my wedding day and I felt so stress-free and relaxed!

staff for over a year of planning and everyone was very helpful and responsive. They work with you and there is no hidden fees or charges. Ashton was great at responding to all our questions. During week of wedding, we worked with Dino who helped coordinate everything that day. He is very knowledgeable and experienced. We were impressed by his organization. He helped the day of wedding run perfectly and smoothly. Mike, the owner of Balinese, also checked on us and helped a lot also. Everyone raved that the food was spectacular, the venue was beautiful, and the staff was friendly. We even had security and parking included. Two thumbs way up!
This venue and the staff are absolutely incredible. We had the wedding and reception of our dreams at a very affordable price.
Loved it! My reception was awesome! Couldn't have asked for a cooler space.
The Balinese Ballroom was the perfect venue for our wedding reception! The downstairs ballroom already has white drapery and white lights on the ceiling, so the space needs minimal...
decoration. We just decorated our tables and brought in some flower arrangements for either side of the DJs table.
Ashton was very helpful with setting everything up and always got back to us in a timely manner. She was great to work with!
The staff at the Balinese are fantastic! Very friendly and efficient.
One very minor negative is that the furniture in the bar area is a little dated. It doesn't look the best in photos, but it is nice that there is extra seating in the bar.
My husband and many of his friends are in the wine business and restaurant industry, so the fact that we could bring in all of our own alcohol was a huge plus for us.
We were able to bring in our own cake and desserts and had a dessert station set up near the front of the room.
My only complaint about this venue is that the food isn't great. The Italian meatballs are fantastic, but otherwise, everything is kind of bland. We went with the most basic menu plus the risotto bar, which was enough for my group to have for the reception.
Bottom line: I wouldn't eat a multi-course meal here, but otherwise the space, staff and service are fantastic. Highly recommended!
First off, the Balinese Ballroom set up all of the tables and chairs in the ballrooms (we had both floors) to our specifications. They put out all the linens, and the space was imm...
aculately clean. There was plenty of parking (250+ guests). We had a morning wedding, and our reception started at 12:30. There were more than enough servers, who were polite and helpful. Mike Zuppa was easy to work with, and helped us plan a wedding that was in our budget. Overall, we had an amazing experience with the Balinese Ballroom and I would recommend anyone look into them for their wedding/event!
