This venue was wonderful! Michael made it so easy from the first meeting to the day of! The venue is great for a reception and provides more than enough space to make it what you want. The staff is super helpful and friendly! They went above and beyond my expectations! I would highly recommend to anyone looking for good service at a fair price!!

Ball Event Center is an affordable yet luxurious wedding venue located in Olathe, KS that specializes in elegant wedding receptions and memorable social events. This locally-owned and operated multipurpose venue is exceptionally budget-friendly and perfect for a wealth of different celebrations.
Being one of the largest venues in the Kansas City metro area, Ball Event Center offers four versatile event spaces to choose from. They can comfortably accommodate a gathering of 350. This refreshing, modern-country venue has a combination of glass, granite, and hardwood architecture that makes for a classic and chic wedding location. Their suites can be occupied by the wedding party to get ready prior to the festivities.The in-house team can work with you to help bring your wedding vision to life. They will let you transform and decorate the space according to your ideas and preferences. The venue also offers a variety of all-inclusive packages as well. This will take care of setup and cleanup, event rentals, liability insurance, lighting and sound, and internet.
Ball Event Center can also provide catering services. This comes with servers, bartenders, outside alcohol, and a cash bar. Alongside the food and beverage items are barware, glassware, china, flatware, linens, and even a chocolate fountain. There is also a large, high-grade kitchen with an ice machine, should you choose to hire outside vendors. Your guests will also appreciate free parking. Be it the indoor or the outdoor space you wish to celebrate your union in; the venue is dedicated to making your event just as flawless as it is memorable.

package. She was terrible she showed up 2 hours before we asked her too and then came to us in the middle of the wedding asking for more money. When we finally got the pictures they were terrible. Completely unedited and she couldn't manage to pose us so we both looked good in a shot. They told us the photographer was this great experienced guy and then we got this lady. BEWARE!!!!!

area. This is where we had the gift table, photobooth, app table and guest books at. Then you walked into the Ball room where we had the reception! We had the dance floor right in the middle of the room as your walked in, then tables on each side of the dance floor. The bridal table was just beyond the dance floor in the middle of the room. I felt like the center of attention! Very pleased with how everything went and the staff was awesome!

director was so great to work with. He always was prepared and organized and very helpful! He made sure everything was set-up exactly the way you wanted it and always promptly returned emails and phone calls. The night of our reception ran so smoothly! The staff was very helpful, friendly, and did a great job of keeping on top of the schedule and assisting us and our guests! The facility is beautiful and very clean! We had an amazing experience and would highly recommend it to anyone!

re are many hotels near by, some of which offer free shuttle service from the Ball Conference Center to the hotel. The front entrance provides a nice place for guests to socialize that is not in the main room where the tables and chairs are. The buffet has an option of being placed outside the main room as well, allowing for more space. The staff was very nice to work with and accommodate your individual needs. Although this place does not have the nice views overlooking downtown like some others do, but it is a perfect place to party if you're looking for a nice sized space to allow your guests to move freely and enjoy their evening. We've had nothing but good comments from guests about the evening, so check it out!

s - we were even able to use a side room for baby-sitting. Even though it is called "conference center," it easily transforms into a formal banquet hall for a wedding reception.
The price wasn't too horrible, and the fact that the venue is non-profit (the proceeds all go to charity) makes it even better. I would give it six stars if it were possible.
