He also had me wear a petticoat for a lesson or two, so we could both get used to dancing while stepping on my dress. If time permits, we may even return for more dance classes with Donatas just for fun! They seriously made for some of the greatest date nights for us leading up to our wedding day. You learn so much about you and your partner as a couple, and it's a great workout. Our first dance went wonderfully, and all of our wedding guests said it was like clockwork and pure magic. I also encouraged my parents to take a single beginner's class with him, and even they couldn't stop raving about how great he was - both as a person and a teacher, just after one lesson. Note: My dad is not an easy person to impress!

We ended up loving the lessons so much we even decided to do a "second spin" at our wedding - doing a fun, upbeat hustle later in the night (after a more traditional fox trot as our first dance). The dance lessons provided great performances, but it was also so nice to have an hour once or twice a week where we spent time doing something together, free from the distractions and stress of work and wedding planning. It was an unexpected benefit of the lessons, and Donatas really fostered that experience. Our only problem now is deciding what dances we want Donatas to teach us now that the wedding is over! We will definitely be continuing our lessons with him.

My wife was thrilled with the entire experience - we took 14 lessons and have 1 left over we are going to use in the time ahead. He made every one of the 14 count and he has a method to ensure you end up in a good place before the big day. I would recommend this experience to anyone.

We quickly realized in order to feel good and comfortable on the dance floor in front of all of our family and friends once a week wasn't going to do it. :) So we signed up for package where we came two to three times a week as we got closer we came more and our first dance was one of the highlights of the wedding. Dancing is now something we do when we are standing in the kitchen cooking. We absolutely love it and Donatas is the best instructor! By some kind of magic, in just a dozen or so lessons Donatas managed to teach us the basics of the Viennese waltz and put together a beautiful first dance. We loved it so much that we have continued social dancing classes since our wedding. Donatas caters to our learning styles and works hard to build a solid foundation. Even if some moves don't make sense at first to our non-dancer brains and feet, when it all clicks together it looks amazing. He's always receptive to our many, many questions and after working with him for a few months, I'm no longer shying away from the dance floor at weddings and events and have some smooth moves on hand for a variety of styles. He is a fantastic teacher, a wonderful gentleman to be around, and we love his flair and flourishes. We are so lucky to have found him.
