I was born and raised in Bulgaria, Eastern Europe. I have a Master's degree in History and Education from Sofia University. I started competing in Smooth (Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Vienesse Waltz, Quickstep) and Latin American (Rumba, Cha-Cha, Samba, Jive, Paso Doble) dances in my 20s. When I came to the United States in 2001, I started working for Arthur Murray Franchise in Los Angeles, New York City and Buffalo. I had a great experience learning customer service and I always loved teaching. Working with people and seeing their progress in front of your eyes is the biggest reward.
