I decided to take lessons for a wedding in April. I am so glad that I did. We were able to survive our dance in the first lesson. I felt relief after the first lesson, and the inst...
ructor made sure we were comfortable. I definitely was not because I've always had two left feet. We ended up having a lot of fun so we decided to take group classes also because we thought it would be fun to be able to dance for the reception. We learned line dances and fast dancing. Apparently pushing sales is common in dance studios, but the instructors never once pushed us to buy unnecessary lessons and made sure that we had what we needed for our wedding dance. They let us choose what song we wanted to dance to, and let us choose when it was time to move on. I would definitely recommend for other's looking to survive the reception or first dance.
