Ballroom Dancing by Janis

. I was quite nervous to start given that I'm not a big dancer, but Ms. Janis has a way of making you feel confident. If you want to zhuzh up your first dance and make it all the more special, then Janis is who you want teaching you!

akes or to not catch on right away and Janis melted all of those fears away within 5 minutes of meeting her. The sessions never felt rushed and it was so much fun for both my fiancé and I. We had 3 scheduled sessions, but had the option to take more sessions if needed. Janis has such a warm and inviting personality and made this part of the wedding planning process enjoyable and gave us memories that we will always look back at and smile. On our last session, I went in so stressed and when we left an hour later I forgot what menial and probably not important whatsoever wedding detail that I was stressing over prior to. You can really tell that Janis loves what she does and I think that made all of the difference for us. We didn't feel like we were just another couple that she was churning out another cookie cutter first dance for. Thank you so much Ms. Janis, it was such an honor to get to work with you!

down. She also made my dad feel comfortable on the dance floor for our father/daughter class which is no easy feat! She is so passionate about ballroom dancing and a great teacher!

4 sessions was the perfect amount. We signed up 3 weeks before the wedding, and Janis was able to squeeze us in after work and on weekends. Janis has this down to a science. She knows how to create a comfortable environment to where you can learn quickly no matter your skillset. My wife and I enjoyed these lessons, and were very happy we decided to do them.

al while taking the time to get to know us as a couple. She was so supportive, and encouraging especially when we felt like we wouldn’t ever be able to successfully achieve our first dance together. She was flexible with scheduling, and really made us feel comfortable. It was such a fun, yet challenging experience and I am so glad we chose her to teach us!

vel. I really felt like even though we picked a harder song she was cheering us on. She didn't mind that we were brand new. I would recommend this dance course to anyone who really wants to work towards a beautiful dance for their wedding or for anyone who just wants to learn. She really is an amazing dance instructor and very reasonably priced too.

it! I have highly recommended her to all my friends getting married.

the rest! Janis made sure we were confident with each move, and we felt ready by the time our wedding day was here. Also, it was just a fun experience to spend that time together and try something new. Thank you for everything Janis!

orked around our very tight schedules. She even helped us choose our first dance song and had it cut to the right length. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for dance lessons!

to learn and she helped us build our skills from the basic foundation to more advanced parts of the song. Janis was very flexible with her schedule and worked with us as we were very busy l. She was very willing to help and even recorded a cut out version of the song of the song for the band to play. She went above and beyond helping us feel comfortable and ready for the wedding. Beyond that, she was very sweet and fun to work with. She made it a very pleasurable experience! We would recommend her any time!

helping me pick out a song and a routine that we were comfortable with. I would definitely recommend the 10 class package for a super awesome routine! We are so happy that we went with Janis for our lessons! She is truly one of a kind and so patient!we really enjoyed our classes!

first lesson (out of 10) more enjoyable than I could’ve imagined. And made me feel like I could actually be good at dancing after having absolutely no rhythm before. I cannot wait to keep up the lessons for our wedding!

ncing at a middle school dance. By the time my fiancé and I were half way through with our 4 lesson package we felt so confident and so relieved that we would look so coordinated and amazing for our first dance. Janis made learning so easy and the dancing process was so fun. It was such a nice way for us to spend time together before the wedding. Not to mention how relaxed and comfortable Janis makes the whole process. Please book with her I promise you won’t regret it! This is the best wedding investment.

easy. She was able to work with both our skill levels. One of us with prior ballroom experience and the other with zero. She kept both of us on our feet and gave us memories for a lifetime! Thank you Janice!

nce. Janis was the perfect fit! In just 4 lessons she had choreographed our first dance and we could not have been more happy with it! We still get compliments on it!

ient with her instruction. She picked a dance type suitable to our chosen first song - and even had the song edited to a better tempo. She would video the final run through at each practice, so we could watch and learn for the next lesson. The day of the wedding, we were confident and comfortable with our dance routine. It was a special part of our wedding day since my fiance and I had worked together to learn. We really enjoyed our lessons and the overall experience.

dancing in less than a week, she can help anyone dance well! We plan to go back to her after the wedding to learn some more! Thank you Janis

de us at ease. Janis was so sweet to us and is such a great teacher. Janis was always so patient and encouraging, and we ended up looking forward to all the rest our lessons. It was such a fun activity to do with my soon-to-be-spouse. We can't thank Janis enough for her great teaching, making us comfortable in preparation for our wedding dance, and the compliments we received on our dancing on our Wedding night. Thanks again!

ent and made sure we felt 100% confident for our big day. We had so much fun learning and we were so at ease with all of our guests watching! Would definitely recommend her!

Janis's lessons.

s very accommodating to the pace, experience, and music taste of her students. The lessons helped our first dance become so much fun. I recommend Janis for any couple wanting to give dance lessons a try.

a great idea, because we got very nervous to walk in front of everyone and dance with all eyes on us. Knowing a choreographed routine helped out a lot! We just focused on each other and loved every second of it. My fiancé keeps telling me that he never wants to forget it so we have to do the dance periodically to keep it fresh in our memories!

ught we'd catch on, but she's patient and great at what she does. I wish she was able to make it to the wedding. We will miss seeing her weekly. I would recommend Janice to anyone who is looking for private couples or individual lessons.
