Hi, I’m Destiny! I’m the Event Coordinator at Balsam Lake Lodge, where I get to combine my love for organization, creativity, and people into one role I truly enjoy. From weddings and celebrations to community events, I love helping bring each vision to life and making sure every detail comes together seamlessly. Hi, I'm Kelly! I've recently come out of retirement, after a 30-year career in Supply Chain Management, to start working again as the Event Manager at the Balsam Lake Lodge. It turns out I'm not so great at slowing down; I miss being busy and I've really missed working with people. That's where you come in! I'm excited to put my skills to use again, working with you to plan your perfect day. If you haven't had a chance to visit Balsam Lake, or the Balsam Lake Lodge, you don't know what you're missing. to work with & was such an amazing help. She went above and beyond to work out all the finer details of our day. She was responsive & attentive throughout the entire planning process & the entire day. We couldn’t imagine having our wedding anywhere else once we toured the lodge. It was exactly what we needed, but also came together so beautifully. It was just stunning & we cannot say enough great things about the venue & Kelly. It was truly a dream & we are so grateful for her!

And the level of concern Duane had in making sure everything was on track so you wouldn’t have anything to worry about was above and beyond, it was just so sweet. You guys made my job easy!

The lodge itself is charming, cozy, and impeccably maintained, making it ideal for hosting our closest family and friends for the entire weekend. Having everyone stay together made our wedding feel even more intimate and memorable.
The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. They were organized, responsive, and genuinely cared about making our day exactly what we envisioned. Their attention to detail and calm presence helped take so much stress off our shoulders.
Our guests are still talking about how beautiful the venue was and how unique the experience felt. If you’re looking for a scenic, intimate, and unforgettable wedding location, we cannot recommend Balsam Lake Lodge enough.

r) . Everyone enjoyed having the ceremony, reception and lodging in the same location. The hotel is very nice. The Lodge was a great place to get ready ( bridal party). We enjoyed the honeymoon suite very much with the soaking tub and large shower. The ceremony was nice and waterfront . We had a lovely area to take pictures with our amazing photographer Macy P ! I’ve always dreamed about being married by the water . It fit our vibe . More reasonably priced than other venues . Can be a romantic setting. No complaints about the food . We had a lovely pre wedding tasting . We served beef tips and chicken. They allowed us to bring in a Dairy Queen cake . They set all the food and tables up . It fit our guest list under 100. The restaurant and Bar were still open to the public but we had no issues with that . Overall a lovely experience we will remember for years to come.
