Bamboo Bakery consistently wins best cakes for a reason! We hired them to make the cake for my daughter's wedding and we weren't disappointed. The taste is incredible - not too sweet and with a variety of flavors/colors to choose from. The delivery and set-up on the day of the event was smooth and simple. Many guests said it was the best cake they've eaten and we don't disagree !

We ordered our wedding cake from Bamboo Bakery. The tasting and ordering process was so easy and we got to try many different flavors before making our choice. We went with a chocolate cake with chocolate mousse and vanilla cake with peaches n cream filling. We went to other cake tastings before this one and weren’t really satisfied. (We’re huge cake lovers.) Once we tasted bamboo bakery’s cake we knew this was the one! Their cake is so moist and their flavors are so unique and refreshing to the palette. Just enough sweetness. Not only was the cake delicious but the presentation was flawless and looked exactly like the inspo picture we showed them. I can’t recommend them enough and I’ll be ordering all my event cakes from them.

Bamboo bakery did such an amazing job on our wedding cake! David and all the workers there really make it a point to make your cake feel so special. The only hard part is narrowing down to all the amazing flavors they have. Great job!

I had a 2 tier custom wedding cake, champagne raspberry and chocolate. All my guests kept asking where the cake was from! David was so professional he has perfected his craft. We did a cake tasting with him, and it was special something we will always remember, the big store has many cakes inside to look at. And get an idea of just how marvelous David’s work is! There is something for everybody. I highly recommend paying the extra and doing the taste test. From placing the order at our cake tasting to the delivery of the cake. Bamboo bakery and David were awesome. You will not be disappointed!!!

Bamboo Bakery did an amazing job on our wedding cake! We were blown away on how delicious/tasteful it was! We had a three layer cake orange creamsicle flavor on the inside and it was decorated beautifully on the outside! It was definitely a talking point at our wedding by our guests! Ordered specific cake and cupcakes with specific type of frosting and decorations and received completely different than what we ordered. Paid for delivery and they called both my husband and I morning of wedding to tell us to come pick it up (100 miles away round trip). Went to bakery today to discuss and owner took no responsibility and basically stated I was not being truthful. Awful experience, cake and cupcakes were terrible. Very disappointed!

Our cake blew guests away at our wedding. The design was gorgeous and unique, but more importantly, the flavors were incredible. Bamboo Bakery offers so many unique cake and filling flavors to choose from -- no other baker in Phoenix can even come close to the variety they have. The coolest part is that we were able to mix and match whatever flavors we wanted at no extra charge. So we went with two completely unique cake combinations: 1). mango cake with a filling of coconut cream and fresh mangos; 2). Chocolate and banana marbled cake with a filling of almond cream, fresh bananas, and fresh strawberries. The flavors were out of this world. Multiple guests (and my husband and I) agreed that it was the best cake they had EVER had. It's rare to find a bakery that uses fresh fruit in their wedding cakes and I think that's what makes all the difference. That and the fact that the cake was incredibly moist and stayed that way for days after the wedding. I HIGHLY recommend Bamboo Bakery over any other wedding cake vendor in Phoenix. With their unbelievably low pricing and their unmatched flavor selection, you'll be doing yourself a disservice if you choose any other vendor. Make sure to book at least 6 months in advance if you can. While they can accommodate orders on short notice (we ordered our anniversary cake with only two week's notice), you'll get a significant price break by booking far in advance.

Bamboo Bakery created my wedding cake and it was perfect. Absolutely beautiful and even more delicious! My guests came back for multiple slices; and the cake itself was a work of art. This team was amazing to work with and the level of customization (flavor and design) and was wonderful and very affordable!

David was extremely friendly and professional. After poor experiences with other bakeries, we were extremely grateful for a great experience with Bamboo Bakery! This cake was very beautiful and so good my guest went back for seconds and even took some home. I would recommend this place for any occasion. I was able to get 2 flavors. The top and bottom portion was Almond Strawberry and the middle portion was Chocolate. It was very soft and moist and the decorations with the rental equipment made it that very beautiful.

We found Bamboo Bakery in 2017 and we're amazed at their style. From the start of the first tasting, to our wedding day, we were overjoyed at their next level of service. The cakes are always perfect, not too sweet and never bland. Their frosting flavors and fillings came in a wide variety were absolutely wonderful. Their decoration designs were elegant and the staff were wonderful in giving us exactly what we wanted. I remember my best man attending the tasting and after he wolfed down every bite in seconds we asked him which flavors he liked the most, his response: "Any of them". As a result, we return to Bamboo every year for our anniversary cakes. We would highly recommend Bamboo Bakery for any celebration to everyone.

Bamboo Bakery is amazing. We went in for our cake tasting and we were so pleased. SO many options and flavors to choose from. It is so cool how most of their cakes are decorated out of whipped cream rather than fondant its very unique. Our wedding cake turned out exactly how he described it would be, the flavors were so delicious & it was absolutely beautiful. 10/10 would recommend to anybody looking for a cake baker. Will use in the future for our future children's birthdays and events.

Bamboo Bakery was spot on! The cake was delivered perfectly and set up with no stress! It was the talk of our wedding how amazing that cake was. And every single piece was gone by the end of the night. We absolutely loved having real frosting and not fondant on our cake. If you want that, look nowhere else, David is a master! Bamboo Bakery is delicious! We had a Pink Champagne cake with banana cream filling and buttercream frosting and it was amazing! We received so many compliments. David was so helpful throughout the entire process.

They made our wedding day delivery so effortless. They had to drive the cake to Flagstaff the day of the from Phoenix and assemble on site. The cake looked amazing and tasted great. They gave so many flavors to choose from and were very friendly. They did my brother’s cake a few years back and they had the same pleasant experience.

We loved working with David at Bamboo Bakery.  When we had our first meeting at the bakery, my husband and I were so entranced by the displays of all of the beautiful, whimsical cakes.  It felt like we were in a Willy Wonka cake factory.  It was clear that Bamboo Bakery was a very versatile and talented bakery. When we sat down with David to discuss the design, all I had to do was show him a few Pinterest photos, and before I even put my phone away, he had sketched exactly what I had envisioned.  Our cake was showstoppingly beautiful.  It was elegant and clean, and it made quite a statement.  Not to mention it was absolutely delicious!  I don't even eat sweets, but I had two leftover pieces last night, and will definitely be enjoying another one tonight. Not only was the cake beautiful and delicious, the price was surprisingly affordable.  We even got a discount for buying it over a year in advance.  Thank you David for making me enjoy dessert again with our fabulous cake!

These guys are the best at cakes. They are impressively detailed, moist, delicious, & the best part is NO FONDANT! Ever since our wedding we've used these guys for birthdays, bachelorette parties, going away cakes, etc. I've always had incredibly positive feedback from any who get to partake, one of whom his wife is in the catering business. Highly recommend them!

My husband ordered a replica of the top tier of our wedding cake for our 5th anniversary and, just like the original cake, it was absolutely perfect! Our original cake had the pumpkin taro and pink champagne, both of which were amazing and unique! This cake was pink champagne and white chocolate mousse, so hubby-dear changed it up a little for the occasion (he’s a big chocolate fan!) and it was a great combination! We will always recommend them and order from them for our anniversaries. David and his crew give top-notch customer service and can design the cake of your dreams!

WOW! Seriously, the best wedding cake I've ever had. Light, moist, delicious, AND beautiful. We had to have 1 gluten-free layer, and YOU COULDN"T EVEN TELL IT WAS GLUTEN-FREE. That speaks for itself. The cake was partially frozen by the time we ate, so that was a little frustrating, but all in all a good experience.

Bamboo Bakery really made our wedding special with the perfect wedding cake. We went to a few of their cake tastings and those were a lot of fun! We found several flavors that we loved and it was hard to choose from just one… so we picked our top two favorites: Orange Whimsical and Pink Champagne with buttercream frosting. The orange whimsical was fresh and flavorful and the pink champagne was bubbly and soft. The buttercream frosting was smooth and lushes. Everything was so delicious! Our cake was a 3 tier square cake lined with pink & white flowers. On the top tier was the Japanese symbol for love and they were able to use the cake topper we had bought. The price was affordable and they were able to make our wedding date deadline. They even delivered and set up the cake at the reception; it was breath taking :) I would highly recommend Bamboo Bakery for your wedding cake/special event!

My wife and I purchased our wedding cake from Bamboo Bakery and we absolutely loved it. Prior to purchasing the cake, we were invited to a cake testing that was put on by Bamboo Bakery. Let me tell you, I don't even like cake, but Bamboo Bakery changed that for me. They have some of the best tasting cakes that I have ever had. We tried Chocolate Banana Strawberry & Rum cake, Marble Cake with Orange & Cream, and our favorite....the Pink Champagne with Raspberry cake. My goodness, this cake was delicious! After that, we were invited to the bakery to customize whatever we wanted in our cake and how we wanted it to look. Bamboo Bakery completely exceeded our expectations and we were delighted to have them take part in our special day!

We had a wonderful experience with Bamboo Bakery. The owner and creator of all the amazing cakes is very nice, helpful, and honest. I went in with little knowledge of what I wanted for my wedding cake, and he gave some ideas and designed a beautiful outline of what the cake would look like. On the day of my wedding, I saw that it was truly the most beautiful cake I have ever seen. Not to mention very moist and extremely tasty! I've never tasted a cake so good, and I don't generally like cakes.

They also have monthly cake tasting of seasonal flavors if you want even more options. Our 3 tier pink champagne cake was a hit!
