We got extremely lucky to have Chris as our DJ! Not only was he friendly, kind, and professional.. but he was energetic and definitely got the crowd engaged!! He did a great job of always getting a feel for the room and would play music that the crowd would enjoy! We really had such a fun reception thanks to him!! We are so thankful and think back on our wedding with no regrets!

From the 1st meeting to the day of wedding. Bang for your Buck Mobile Dj was there every step of the way. They came out for rehearsal to line everyone up and done the bridal party could hear the music. The Day of wedding Mike and Katie were on there A game from ceremony to reception without any hiccups. Love working with Bang for your Buck Mobile Dj. They provide dj, uplight, custom gobo designed by Katie with was amazing and along with pipe and drape. I would highly recommend them do any events to my family and friends. They are so easy to work with from book them to the night of the wedding. Our DJ Chris had the dace pack the whole night. I worked with Katie and Chris and they were great!! Katie was there for me even though I probably sent multiple emails, changing my mind, confirming things a couple times, and meeting all of my requests. They were great and easy to work with along with getting back to me in an appropriate amount of time. Chris was my DJ on the big day and he was great! Apart from our name being mis-pronounced when we walked into the reception (we laughed because it was kinda funny) he was great and made sure with us before he announced something big and gave us a heads up before he did so. He also provided uplighting and monogram gobo light to put on the wall. the lights looked amazing and made the hall look even better than it did with tiffany blue lights everywhere. The gobo was made by Katie and she met our needs and gave us so many options to choose from. It looked great and made it very special. My wedding party was on the dance floor the entire night and my guests had a blast! Thanks for everything I had SO much fun and absolutely loved every minute!

bang for your Buck Mobile Dj was amazing for the 1st meeting to the last meeting for the final consultation. They did the Ceremony and reception at the same location they didn't miss a beat. Chris was our DJ he came out on Friday to setup everything up including the uplighting and gobo to make sure I was happy with everything and our wedding was on Saturday. He had the crowd up dance all night long. All my friend and family were so happy with the Dj that I would highly recommend this company to all my friends and family.

The owner Katie is awesome to work with! We were however disappointed that the DJ didn't pay attention to the crowd, keep them engaged and keep people on the dance floor. We had added an extra hour of music, but it wasn't needed because everyone left 2 hours before we thought they would.

Bang for your Buck Mobile DJ was recommended to me by two vendors while I was shopping for my wedding venue. I am so glad I took their advice because they exceeded our expectations! Mick McCart was our DJ. He was so quick to respond to all of our requests and even gave me his cell number a couple of months before the wedding. The day before our wedding there were protests happening near our reception venue. Mike took the time to reach out to ensure us that we would still be having an awesome party. He delivered just that. Everybody from our friends from college to our grandparents were on the dance floor. He kept the party going but never made himself the center of attention. We could not have asked for a better DJ for our event. Would recommend Mike and Band for your Buck Mobile DJs 10/10!

I cannot say enough good things about Bang for your Buck Mobile DJ! from start to finish, they were wonderful to work with! We met the owner, Katie, at a bridal show and were instantly impressed with both her and her company. Bang for your Buck Moblie DJ is not flashy, pushy, and in your face like the majority of the DJs working for other companies seemed to be. They truly wanted the day to just be about us and our guest having a great time... and we sure did! We had Mike as our DJ and he was wonderful! Mike was the best DJ for the job. He went above and beyond to make sure that our day went off without a hitch. He played some great music that kept all of our guests on the floor and having a great time! He also helped in so many other ways during the reception. We used Bang for your Buck Mobile DJ for our wedding ceremony and reception and it was one of the best decisions we made! Mike was our DJ and their reputation holds true as they are certainly the best around!! The process from end-to-end was seamless. Mike followed up several times leading up to the big day, to answer any questions and offered suggestions based on his expertise. With that, Mike provided song suggestions and offered to add songs if they weren't included in his music 'library.' He even assisted us with some last minute requests the night before! They provided an overall first-class experience and I believe his answer was either, "we can make that happen" or "whatever you want;" words a Bride loves to hear! :) I think one of the biggest compliments to Mike and his brilliant song choices, was the dance floor was always packed. We hired Bang for your Buck for our April 2017 wedding ceremony and reception and couldn't have been happier with the quality of service we received. We worked with Katie and our DJ was Cari. They attended our rehearsal dinner to make sure the ceremony music and sound for our officiant/readers was as planned. They made sure my husband and I always had drinks throughout the reception and Katie even tied my shoes for me later in the night! Communication throughout the planning stages was easy as well.

The DJ was great and upbeat! Bang for your buck worked with us and made sure everything was perfect for our ceremony and reception! They even came to rehearsal in order to prepare for our wedding day!

The owner of this company messed up three meetings. The third meeting finally happened but she was 45 minutes late. She gave us a free bogo for it but then only gave half of the information I gave her to the DJ she chose for us. I had to find and give all the information to our actual DJ myself. Things still went wrong the night of. They started to play the wrong entrance song. They didn't know where the bridal party was supposed to go when they entered. They didn't know the order of songs. We thoroughly enjoyed the DJ that was sent to our wedding. The owners husband however came with her as a second DJ and he was terrible. He was rude and super controlling. He sat behind the booth with a smug look on his face all night. He ordered our live band around like he was their boss (which he wasn't, we got a separate live band). He did not work well with others.

We booked with them because they were at a wedding show and it was in our price range. We absolutely LOVED our DJ, he kept our party going! The big downfall for me was when Chris was pointing at his phone at 10:30 pm telling me "$50 or I'm pulling the plug right now." I didn't think that was very professional. Of course we paid the extra. Usually most DJs have some type of warning before they turn everything off. That really upset me and my husband on our wedding night. Thank you to our DJ who did excellent!!

I was looking for sound for my ceremony at the Jewel Box. A friend who had gotten married there last summer highly recommended Bang for your Buck. She said Katie was amazing! She helped the wedding party walk down the aisle, she provided any sound services needed and she was such a deal! And let me tell you, she lived up to every high praise given by my friend. Katie answered my calls or called me back right away. Her prices were a third of the cost of any other DJs I shopped around for, including my reception DJ. She called about a week before the wedding to discuss details of music and any other microphones or anything we would need for our services. She explained how she and her mom would be at the ceremony to help the wedding party hit their queues and walk down the aisle. She even came to the rehearsal to help explain everything! It was so great having someone experienced in these details when I had completely forgotten to think of some of them. She also was able to give me venue specific information as she had seen many weddings their as well as been in a wedding at the Jewel Box herself. Katie is so wonderful to work with, and I am so happy I had the pleasure of meeting her. I will absolutely be recommending her to future couples!

Chris and Katie were lifesavers for our ceremony! Not only did they provide music for our ceremony and rehearsal, but they were also our coordinator for both. I gave them an idea of the music we wanted played, and they came up with perfect ideas for everything. They're very helpful and super easy to work with. They came to our rehearsal with music so we could get a feel for the timing, and were able to tell who to walk when. HIGHLY SUGGESTED!!!

I was very impressed with the DJ service. I have to take a second and brag about how AMAZING Katie is. She really did it all. From the DJ to the photo booth helper.. from the "wedding coordinator" to my personal "cocktail provider" Katie truly cared about making my wedding day special. She not only cared about the bride & groom but she took care of the entire bridal party (16ppl) always asking if we needed anything and always made sure we had a drink in our hand (which was a must!) Huge thank you for helping coordinate the "bubble exit" from the church.. which made for gorgeous pictures -- and for being there for me not only at my reception but at the church as well. Your wedding knowledge & expertise truly made my day so special. I was so clueless as to how "weddings work" but your expertise totally made my wedding day. Also - the DJ did an excellent job at playing music we like & always had people out on the dance floor. I had made a list of "annoying/do not play this song at my wedding" list & they followed it. Apparently my now Mother In-Law tried requesting a song that I had on the do-not-play list and the DJ put their foot down and said no I won't play this unless the bride tells me otherwise. I LOVED IT. I cannot say enough nice things about this company. Thank you guys so so much for making my wedding AMAZING.

Katie as excellent with all of the pre wedding details. Mike was out DJ and he was amazing!! He was pretty much our wedding coordinator without being asked and he kept people up and dancing all night!!!

Katie is fabulous to work with, we met with her to do all the pre wedding things from initial meeting for dates and times to meeting at our venue to discuss up lighting to meeting again for song choices and coming to our rehearsal, she was there and ready to make it all happen. Chris was great too, he helped us decide what spots for up lighting may be the best for the effect we wanted and also suggested adding some extra special lighting to really make it pop, it was the best suggestion ever. Our DJ Lauren, aka Kosher, was spectacular! We've had nothing but complements on our music. He did our ceremony music and was on top of it from different walking down the aisle songs to adding in songs for our sand ceremony and cake cutting and the mic for our ceremony and toasts. He also got to really DJ for a while when we wanted a party theme towards the end of the night, that was great! Thank you so much to the whole team!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I had such a great experience with Katie and Chris from start to finish. They were able to work with my budget and deliver awesome service. Chris was there on time and kept the evening going smoothly. He even helped coordinate a minor issue we had at the reception. He played exactly the kind of music we wanted and we had a great variety of slow, upbeat, and classic dance songs. Both Katie and Chris are so personable - i could go on and on about them. Bang for Your Buck did a great job as the DJ for my outdoor wedding. Because they were partnered with my photographer (Strike a Pose), communications and coordination was easier. Pre-wedding consultations were done with the DJ and photographer so that everyone was on the same page. The DJ was able to come up to me at my wedding and encourage a particular photo opportunity in a canoe that the photographer wanted to do but that I was nervous about. I am so glad that she did! The wedding couldn't have been better. It was my dream day!

Chris and Katie were amazing with helping us with equipment that needed to be rented and at commentating at our wedding. We had an out of town friend who was apart of the wedding party and who was also the DJ of our wedding. After sitting down with Katie and explaining the need for the equipment, it was clear we needed Bang 4 Your Bucks help, because we wanted our friend to enjoy being apart of the wedding party as well. Chris took care of all our ceremony needs from equipment setup to music selections. He was even a great help at organizing our crazy rehearsal. He setup things for our ceremony and then again at the reception. Our friend DJ was thankful that we thought of him in such a big way that we wanted him to enjoy himself with the rest of the wedding party. Chris had everything ready for our friend DJ when it was time for him to take over. Chris worked very well with him and we were so thankful for HIS HELP......... Awesome DJs, very accommodating and professional! The only company I contacted that had no problem getting my requested foreign language music (Hindi & Spanish)- others wanted me to purchase music & provide it, or said they couldn't guarantee the requested music would be available. Their physical set up looked great, you don't see a dj, computer, tables, etc- all hidden very nicely. They also gave me a great deal on adding uplighting. I highly recommend this company!

Five stars really do not do these guys justice. They were fantastic right from the get go. They were easy to talk with and had no problem working with us from a distance (we're in missouri but live about 4 hours from St. Louis). We communicated a lot through email, but they were flexible in meeting us when we were already in town. Their prices are already super reasonable, and you get much more than what you pay for...but to add to the awesome, they offer a military discount. Chris was our DJ for the evening and he made sure he knew what music we liked and what we didn't. We'd had several guests send in requests ahead of time and he made sure those were available for us. The music was really important to us as a couple and we wanted to make sure the selections reflected that. Chris listened to us and definitely 'got it'. Not that he had it easy, we had a very eclectic guest list. But not one person had any complaints. My mother summed it up best, "There was not one song where I thought oh no." Chris also worked seamlessly with our photographer and venue to make sure things happened on time, dances were announced, and all went well. A DJ can make or break an event, and Chris certainly made ours.
