I cannot say enough good things about Bangs & Blush. They were very flexible with my requests and their stylists are AMAZING. Not only did Erin do a great job on my hair, she calmed my nerves and made getting ready fun! During our trial, she was very patient as I figured out what exactly I wanted - even after changing it 10 times! I received so many compliments on my hair. The makeup artist did a fabulous job on the wedding party! Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved working with Heather and Wendy. They did outstanding work on both mine and my 6 bridesmaids hair and make up. All I did was show them both my vision with pictures and they transformed me into an absolutely stunning bride (yes I’m tooting my own horn because that’s how good they did!!!). Also recommend their spray tan, got it done two days before my wedding and it looked even better on my actual wedding day. 10/10 recommend these ladies and this company.

Amanda (makeup) and Tara (hair) did an incredible job on myself and my bridesmaids! Tara went above and beyond and even helped my mom fix her hair when she showed up on the wedding day with a terrible up-do (from another salon). They were on time, prepared and were so friendly to everyone. Would highly recommend Bangs and Blush!

We had Bangs and Blush (Lexington) do makeup for all my bridesmaids and moms, and could not be happier with them. The communication through the entire planning process was amazing, and our makeup that day was even better! Not only did everyone look incredible all day (in the summer heat), but they actually wrapped up slightly ahead of schedule!

Meg and Kacie were amazing to work with!!!! My group was a little high maintenance with a lot of different needs (gluten free, vegan, really curly hairs, moms with very short hair who don't like makeup, etc) but they were so accommodating and made sure everyone got exactly what they needed. Everyone looked stunning and I'm so appreciative of their attention to detail as everyone wanted to look a little different. Bangs n Blush was so easy to work with and I appreciated the thorough form that let me input all the necessary information ahead of time. They were very organized with great communication!

I was referred to Bangs and Blush because the people I hired originally did a horrible job during my trail. Since I was an out of state bride my trail with B&B was scheduled 3 days before my wedding. I met with Jewely (Julie) and I showed her my inspo pics and we talked about what I liked and what was possible for my hair and makeup. She even did one eye different so I could choose which way I preferred. I was so happy I didn’t want to take if off but I wanted my look to be a surprise. So she changed my hair and makeup so I still looked great for the rest of the day. On my wedding day Jewely was all set up and ready for us at our start time of 10am. She did all 3 girl and myself as well as touching up the first two before she left. My girls do not wear makeup and they couldn’t stop talking about how much they loved how they looked. Jewely did my look even better that day. I couldn’t get over how good and natural I looked with amazing hair! She said she tweaked a few things since she knew how my skin reacted. So don’t skip the trial ladies!!! I left her open to what sparkle to add to my hair and she chose to use the Queen crown after seeing my dress. She even asked if I wanted it in all day or just for the ceremony. I said all day and let me tell you it never moved even after multiple dips on the dance floor. What an amazing experience and the level of skill and professionalism is off the charts. Please don’t hesitate to book with them, even the email traffic and communication was always quick and prompt. The ladies at Bangs and Blush are incredible!! When I was exploring different hair and makeup artists in the area of our wedding I couldn’t help but notice how beautiful the brides looked when they had Bangs and Blush as their vendor. I knew right away these were the ladies I wanted to trust with making me feel my most beautiful on my big day. I’m from out of town and didn’t think I’d be able to do a hair and makeup trial, but they actually said they could fit me in a couple days before the wedding when I would be in town. I’m so thankful I took them up on the offer because even though I thought I knew what I wanted there were a few things I ended up changing my mind on after the trial. Kacie did my hair and she listened to everything I wanted and did it perfectly. She made my vision come to life and I was obsessed with my bohemian style wedding hair vibes. Amanda absolutely nailed my makeup look and thankfully convinced me to do false eyelashes because I was so nervous to try them for the first time, but they made my eyes pop! These ladies were so professional and made all of my bridesmaids and the mothers feel so beautiful and comfortable. If you hire them you will without a doubt feel the most beautiful you’ve ever felt!

I had an amazing experience working with Bangs & Blush for my wedding! From the start, I received quick responses and the team was always super accommodating during the time we worked together. I was lucky to have Amanda for my makeup and Erin for my hair (both from the Knoxville studio) and from the moment I met these two ladies, I felt like we had been friends forever and they took such great care of me. I have never felt more beautiful than I did each time these two worked together on my hair and makeup (engagement session, trial run, and wedding day)! They were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and brought my all of my beauty visions to life. On the wedding day, they traveled to my venue, and each had 7-8 girls to help get ready and we still finished ahead of schedule. They made each girl feel gorgeous and we all had an amazing experience together. These ladies really added a fun and positive energy to our bridal party, and I cannot imagine how my day would have been without them there. I cannot say enough great things about Bangs & Blush and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for beauty services. It is worth the investment, and you will not regret it!!!

I cannot express enough what a wonderful job Bangs and Blush did not only with my bridal makeup and spray tan but being extremely accommodating for the last minute scheduling of both! Amy and Jamie were so helpful and easy to work with. As someone who has never gotten a spray tan before I was extremely nervous about getting one the day before my wedding. It could not have turned out better. It was the most natural spray tan I had ever seen, and people at the rehearsal dinner and wedding could not believe I had a spray tan and not a natural tan because it looked so natural. Amanda did my bridal makeup and oh my goodness was it absolutely fantastic, exactly what I envisioned for my wedding day :) Highly recommend Bangs and Blush!

Bangs and Blush were 12/10 amazing for all parts of my wedding! I cannot say enough about the trial run prior. Both Amanda (makeup) and Jewely (hair) were incredible! I am very particular with both, and they made me feel so comfortable making little tweaks during the trial run so that it would be perfect for the big day (although it was just about perfect even before that!) We had a bridal party of 14 people, and every single person was blown away with their work (and +2 assistants)! They were on time, friendly and enjoyable to work with, and an overall great experience. I would trust them for any of your biggest days!

The entire team we had for our big day (Tara and Amber) were amazing! They went above and beyond both during the trial and day of. They were incredibly personable and professional, and absolutely killed everyone’s hair and makeup looks. I (the bride) was so incredibly happy and got a lot of compliments on how I looked. I could not have asked for a better hair and makeup artist than Erin! We absolutely loved meeting her and figuring out my wedding look together. I had no idea what I wanted makeup wise and only a slight idea of what I was looking for with my hair. The final outcome was better than anything I could have hoped for! I felt so beautiful!! My mom had also booked hair and was nervous because of previous experiences where she didn’t get what she asked for. After getting her hair done she was so happy with it that she asked if she could have some special pictures taken of her and my dad as well since she loved it so much! Erin was even able to make time to do my mom’s makeup as well even though we hadn’t pre-booked it! She’s seriously the best!! If I’m ever back in Tennessee and need my hair or makeup done I know who I’m reaching out to!!

These ladies deserve a 12/10 star rating! I was so impressed with the level of skill these girls have. I had spent hours searching for a hair/makeup artist in the Sevierville area and finally came across Bangs and Blush. I live out of state and booked my hair/makeup with them before having a trial. Based on the photos on instagram I knew I would be in good hands. I was absolutely blown away after having my trial (2 days before my wedding) and then even more so on my actual wedding day. I had a pretty large bridal party but Jamie made sure we had all the hands we needed that day. Myself and every one of my bridesmaids LOVED our hair and make up. We provide “inspiration” pictures and these girls nailed it. Our hair was gorgeous and our makeup was flawless. We received so many compliments throughout the night. I would highly recommend all of these ladies to anyone who is looking for exceptional hair/makeup artists for their weddings or events!

What a great company! They were always very fast to respond to questions and requests! Tara was the lead stylist at my wedding and she did amazing! She was organized, kind, and easy to talk to. She paid attention to every little detail and made my hair look amazing! Even in the heat and humidity, my hair stayed in place all night! She listened to what I wanted and made my wedding hair dreams come true. Her assistant was also amazing! Her assistant was super friendly and made the bridesmaids look stunning!! All the girls loved their hair!

Working with Bangs and Blush was definitely one of the best decisions I made for my wedding! From the very beginning, their staff was really friendly and responsive and was fantastic to work with. I was thrilled that we were able to have them travel to my venue where they had a great room located upstairs and were able to quickly work on everyone. I was extremely fortunate to work with Wendy for hair and Heather for makeup and have to say that absolutely everyone looked breathtaking . We had a few mothers who in the past had done hair and makeup and didn't love the end result and were very hesitant to participate. During my hair and makeup trial, Heather and Wendy listened to my concerns and were great about talking through the process with all of the mothers and I was ecstatic to find out that not only did I think they looked gorgeous, but they all loved their final look as well. And as the bride, I was absolutely blown away with how gorgeous I looked and felt. They gave me the look I had always dreamed of and I am so thankful for their talent and the opportunity to work with them!

Bangs and blush is the best! We last minute decided to move our wedding down to Gatlinburg and they were so wonderful and easy to work with. We had Kacie and Meg do our hair and make up and they are nothing short of amazing. Recommend to anyone in the area or anyone coming from out of state!!

We had been recommended to Shelbi Lawhorn for our wedding makeup. and I am SO HAPPY we went with Bangs and Blush. They came in and did all 10 girls makeup for my bridal party and every single girl looked flawless. The make up was SO beautiful and felt so natural. I'm just going to start with HIRE BANGS AND BLUSH. If you're looking at reviews and debating who to hire or if you want a professional make up artist for your wedding, I can promise that you're going to want Bangs and Blush at your wedding. I have never felt as beautiful as I felt on my wedding day. Heather was my makeup artist and from the moment I met her for my trial, she put me at ease and made sure that my wedding day makeup was exactly what I wanted. My entire bridal party could not stop talking about how amazing she was, from her artistry with makeup to her bubbly and fun personality, I can't imagine ever hiring another makeup artist. Not to mention, the makeup has staying power. Our reception was in a barn without air conditioning in June and my makeup stayed put throughout the entire evening. So if this review was too long to read, I'll sum it up...you need Bangs and Blush at your wedding and you won't regret it.

I cannot brag enough about this place and the amazing people that come with it!! Being from Louisiana & traveling up here to Tennessee to have my destination wedding, I searched long and hard to find someone who fitted what I was looking for when it came to my bridal makeup and hair. Bangs and Blush was the only one around the area that stayed up with the “hip” and “fad” makeup/hair I was looking for!! I simply showed them what I was looking for and they NAILED it!! I felt so beautiful & it was everything I wanted! I’d recommend them to ANY brides around the area!! You definitely get what you pay for, and it was indeed well worth it!!

One of my biggest concerns with a destination wedding was my hair and makeup. For a while, I was thinking I would just do my own hair and makeup & I really kept going back and forth with the idea of hiring someone to do it. The only regret I have is that I didn't hire Bangs & Blush sooner! Jamie answered all of my questions and gave me the information on each of their stylists that could do both hair and makeup (because I only had 2 people getting the service done). I chose Erin & was able to have a trial done a couple of days before the wedding. Erin was so fun & she did amazing work! I showed her what I wanted & she matched it perfectly, if not better! After the trial, I was able to breathe easy because I knew I would feel beautiful on my wedding day. Erin also did my mom's hair and makeup & I know she felt & looked beautiful as well! Worth the investment!!!

Bangs and Blush did the styling for the women in my wedding party this fall and they did a great job! Jewely was my lead stylist and she was awesome. She came out to my house to do the trial, and she was really good about pausing frequently and getting feedback to make sure that I was happy with how she did everything. She and an assistant came to the hotel on my wedding day. They did makeup for my bridesmaids (4) and both mothers (bride/groom), and then makeup and hair for me, the bride. Everything turned out great. We had a really diverse set of skin tones and looks and they did a good job doing makeup for everyone that complimented each person’s look, while tying the group together as well. I would absolutely recommend Bangs and Blush for any hair/makeup needs. They were nice, professional, punctual, reasonably priced, and it all turned out great!

From my engagement photos to my wedding Bangs and Blush were amazing! Heather was my make up artist and Jewley was my hair stylist, and I couldn’t be more grateful to these girls! As someone who does photography for a hobby I was nervous about being in front of the camera, but when you feel beautiful it shows in your pictures! Anytime I see a picture of myself my first thing I do is pick myself apart, and I couldn’t do that! I had no idea I could look so beautiful! That’s including when I came in with like 10 pictures of ideas for my wedding and told them I liked all of them, but couldn’t find the one.. I just wanted to look regal AF! Lol Not only are they SUPER talented, but their just genuinely great people. Working with them is like hanging out with your best friends! The morning of our wedding was perfect because of these ladies! Even when I almost couldn’t make it to my bridal suite because my vehicle wouldn’t drive up the mountain Heather saved the day and alerted the venue! After a maniac and some jokes with these girls my nerves was eased and I was ready to enjoy my day! My girls and especially I are grateful to both of them! We plan on having anniversary and family photos with our photographer when we are in town in the future, and DEFINITELY will be working with these ladies again! It’s a investment you won’t regret!

Jamie and Wendy were the absolute BEST! They knew exactly what to do to make me feel as beautiful as I felt on my wedding day. They will take any ideas you may have a create a work of art, and take any constructive criticism you may have to make sure you feel your absolute best. They are there to do their work, but they also make you feel at ease and are the easiest to talk to about anything. After getting my rehearsal dinner makeup (which I suggest doing) I got very nervous about the weekend and Wendy and Jamie helped get me relaxed by doing silly exercises with them, but it made me feel so good, because they did not have to do that. Overall, they are the best in Tennessee and will give their all and make your magical ideas come to life!!

Heather was my makeup artist and Tara was my hairstylist and they were perfection!!! They did my bridesmaids and the mothers as well and they were so much fun to work with! It felt like I had 2 more bridesmaids hanging out with us! They took my inspiration photos and nailed it immediately with what I was looking for. The bridesmaids were left to choose their own styles and they did an awesome job listening to what they wanted but also making it coherent. It was a 3 hour drive for me to do the trial and they were so flexible in working with my schedule and I can’t thank them enough! I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to feel like a million bucks on their big day!!

Emily did my hair and make up and 6 bridesmaids hair for my wedding day May 27, 2019. Emily took my vision and perfected it. I was blown away with how beautiful my bridesmaids looked. And I felt the most beautiful I have ever felt. It was so nice to have the hair and make up trial before. Emily asked me questions and knew exactly what I wanted. It made my wedding day soooo much less stressful. Words cannot express how grateful I am to Emily for her expertise, patience and her eye for detail.

Wow! You need to hire Bangs & Blush for your wedding! Jamie was very helpful in the booking process, but what really sealed the deal for me was my trial with Heather & Wendy. Heather was so much fun and she absolutely rocked the airbrush makeup. She made me look more beautiful than I ever have in my whole life! Wendy came up with something custom for me after I showed her pictures and I was in love! On my wedding day, they arrived early and made the whole process easy. All of my girls, mother, and mother in law commented on how laid back everything was. We weren't rushed at all, but all looked amazing and our hair and makeup held up all night! Heather even left the lip color she used on my bridesmaids behind as my something borrowed. They really went above and beyond for us! I would recommend the whole company, but especially Heather and Wendy without hesitation!

During the hair trial prior to the wedding, she took the time to thoroughly go through the different ways we can accomplish the look I desired on my wedding day and walked me through different options of volume, texture, etc. The day of the wedding was a breeze. Jewely scheduled plenty of time for everyone getting their hair done - we even finished early and she utilized the rest of the time doing touch ups and making sure our hair was perfect. As a whole, Bangs and Blush was super responsive and easy to work with.

Heather (Lead Makeup Artist) and Wendy (Lead Hair Stylist) were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! They are very good at what they do and can pretty much do any style you ask them for. All of my bridesmaids chose a different hairstyle and they were all pleasantly surprised that Wendy was able to do their hair exactly like the picture they showed her. I was very nervous to have my makeup done because I am not used to wearing very much (I am pretty much a mascara and blush kind of girl), but Heather made me feel completely comfortable! She assured me that she would redo my makeup as many times as needed to make sure I was happy with how I looked. She was extemely patient and made sure she checked with me throughout the process to make sure I liked how she was doing it. I felt beautiful on my wedding day and it’s all thanks to these ladies!!! Words cannot describe how amazing our experience was! Just don't even bother looking at anyone else- book Bangs & Blush!! Working with Heather and Julie was an absolute dream the day of our wedding!! We had booked two townhouses so my fiancé and our bridal parties could get ready separately, and they went back and forth so we could each enjoy our getting ready time. Their hair and makeup work was just phenomenal. Heather and Julie made myself, my fiancé, and everyone in our bridal party look and feel incredibly beautiful, and they were super fun to work with! Honestly, I wanted to invite them to our wedding! :-). Jamie was great to work with via email prior to the event as well. I would 100% work with Bangs & Blush again, and so should you!

The best wedding investment, Bangs & Blush!!!! Jamie, Wendy and team are amazing! They made everyone feel very at ease, talked through all hair/makeup ideas, and (best of all) made everyone look like flawless!! From engagement session to hair/makeup trial to day - of, Jamie and Wendy worked with me every step to ensure they understood what I wanted & how to accomplish a cohesive look with the bridal party. They were very attentive to my requests, and posed options to consider that were even better (because my Pinterest pictures had nothing on their magic). If you want to feel like a queen for a day - these are your girls! My bridesmaids and I have not stopped raving. They were also AMAZING at accommodating hair for my 2 1/2 & 4 yr old flower girls, my jr. bridesmaid (11) & mothers of the bride and groom. They made everyone from age 2 to 50 look like a million bucks. Couldn't say better things about their communication, professionalism, and talents. They are great and would highly recommend them!

Heather made the booking and contract process so easy, even with all my add-ons. Wendy and Julie, our hairstylists, brought everyone's hair pictures to life. They had everyone done ahead of schedule and were so pleasant and chill the entire time. The whole Bangs and Blush team is truly wonderful!

The artists that worked my wedding on June 2, 2018 did such a beautiful job. The hair and makeup looked beautiful and all of my girls looked amazing. My only criticism would be the product used for hair was not strong enough to keep my girls' hair in place. Granted, it was a humid day, but multiple girls had to come back to get their hair re-curled and fixed before we ever left the hotel for pictures. Aside from that, I would definitely recommend Bangs and Blush.

I absolutely LOVED having Jamie and Wendy with Bangs and Blush with us on my wedding day! My heart was full seeing how happy my bridesmaids were with their hair and makeup - everyone was simply glowing! From my perspective as a bride, I instantly felt comfortable when I met Jamie for the first time. At first we just talked to get to know each other better and get a feel of what my wedding was like and what I was looking for as far as hair and makeup. She was very attentive and constantly making sure I liked what she was doing. After the trial, I wanted to change a couple things - the next time I saw Jamie and Wendy was the day of the wedding, and although we hadn’t tried these new ideas previously - they did a beyond fantastic job! I thought I felt beautiful in my trial - but nothing compared to how amazing I felt on my wedding day. Even still, looking back on our pictures I remember feeling so confident and happy that day. My husband wouldn’t stop smiling! This team truly does go above and beyond for you and they genuinely made me feel like they were all so excited for us that day. It’s these little things that made my experience with them unforgettable. Overall, from the very beginning I loved Jamie and am so glad we had her team with us for my wedding. Bangs n Blush did an incredible job on both my and my wedding party's hair and make up. Jamie led make up along with an assistant and Wendy led hair also along with an assistant. These ladies know exactly what their are doing and their confidence put me at ease, especially being someone who never gets their hair/make up done. Quite honestly, I didn't know how pretty I was until the crew at Bangs & Blush got a hold of me. I had a specific look I wanted for my wedding day and they nailed it! The makeup they use is top notch. They are truly artists and genuinely the nicest people! They go above and beyond for their brides!

Jamie and her team are incredible to say the least. One of my biggest fears for my wedding day, embarrassingly, was to look like a bride. I don’t normally wear much makeup, if any, and I hardly ever do my hair, so I didn’t want Corey to wonder who I even was. I’ve worked alongside Bangs and Blush in the past, and I’ve never seen any issues. Every bride turns out S-T-U-N-N-I-N-G. But was still a little nervous about the teased hair and cat-eye makeup. I went with Jamie for my makeup and Ella for hair, and they knew exactly what I was going for. I didn’t even have to go into detail…they already knew. I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day. I felt completely comfortable and Corey recognized me, wooo! Jamie and her team are professionals. They know exactly what they’re doing, no questions asked, and they’ll cater to exactly what you want and need. All eyes are on you on your wedding day, so the last thing you want to be stressing about day is how you look. I promise you with Bangs and Blush, there won’t be a single worry about that. I would choose them (and will choose them again for future events) again and again! Oh! Not to mention, all of my bridesmaids looked FABULOUS as well. We all loved the day-of pampering :)

Bangs and Blush made me, my mother, mother-in-law, aunts, and bridesmaids all feel stunning on my wedding day! The entire experience with the team was wonderful!! Some moments can often pass like leaves on a windswept day and we pay no attention to them at all. But there are other moments that can turn an ordinary day into a fairy tale dream and that most often happens at weddings. At my recent grandson's wedding, one of those rare moments happened for me BEFORE the actual ceremony. Jamie Walker and her team of make-up artists and hairdressers took an ORDINARY grandmother and turned her into a FAIRY-TALE queen who received so many compliments that she almost started to blush. Bangs and Blush did an extraordinary job for all of those in the wedding party and for family members. They were spectacular.

A wedding is a special event for any family. Having a crew of professionals take care of such important details as hair and make-up is a luxury in my opinion. The whole crew from Bangs and Blush was very patient and took their time throughout the process. They really cared about the details, and did not rush just to finish up. The team of hair stylists and make up artists provided make up for the moms, grandmothers and the entire wedding party. Everyone looked beautiful! They were on time, worked efficiently, and no one felt rushed at all. It was great that there were more than enough stylists to go around for our group. The best part about using Bangs and Blush for me was that I did not have to worry at all about my hair and makeup for an important event and I did not have to touch up at all during the day. Great experience and would highly recommend to any party who does not want or need the added stress of hair and make-up!

Bangs and Blush did an amazing job for my April wedding. It was especially nice they were able to come to my childhood home so we all could get ready there instead of being at the wedding venue all day long. It made the day so much more special (and less stressful). A special thank you to Wendy for hair and Vandygayle for makeup. Wendy and Vandygayle were both so fun to work with before and during the wedding and they made all of us look amazing. I'm only disappointed that I can't have Vandygayle and Wendy do my makeup and hair every day!
