Joe had great communication, fair pricing, and made our day completely stress free and relaxed. My fiancé and I had never had professional pictures, after getting our prints back we are absolutely amazed how they turned out. Joe had great ideas for location, and took a gray, cold, snowy day in Cleveland and made it look beautiful. We are so thankful for him and Ashley for their skill, time, and effort to make sure we loved our photos.

We loved Joe and Ashley! They were top tier people to work with. They came to our venue early and we’re ready to start shooting from the shot list. They had great communication, were very personable, professional and had a strong game plan with plenty of room for flexibility. We battled with some chilly weather and wind on the day of but they did everything in their power to make it perfect! Honestly if I did not have Joe and Ashley there for me I don’t think my day would have been as perfect as it was. Ashley was able to bustle my dress before my first dance and help calm my nerves the day of, she was kind, compassionate and honestly made me very at ease the day of. Joe was able to handle a rowdy bunch of groomsmen the day of getting all the special shots I asked for while leaving lots of time for extra pictures we may have. Joe gave great directions for posing and was extremely efficient and confident when shooting. Overall good photographers are a backbone to a wedding and we are so grateful we went with Joe Banker Photography!

10 stars! You will not find a more dedicated team for your wedding day! The wedding arch snapped in 3 places minutes before the bride was to walk down the aisle. Joe and Ashley jumped right in and literally McGuyvered it back together using sticks and zip ties! Ashley then made the repairs disappear by adding extra flowers to the repair areas. They truly went above and beyond! And their photography is simply beautiful, too. We can't thank you enough for everything you did for Alex and Kim! 💜

Not only did our wedding pictures and video turn out better than we could have imagined, but working with Joe and Ashley was so natural (which says a lot coming from a couple who does not love posing for pictures). They captured our day and personalities perfectly. A guest came up to us and said, “your photographers were all over the dance floor- I can’t wait to see what they captured,” and sure enough the footage was unreal. I would highly recommend booking with Joe 🙂 and if you’re debating on doing only photo or photo and video, absolutely do both!!!

From our engagement photos to our wedding we loved all of them! My husband who hates having his photo taken enjoyed the process because joe and Ashley made it so easy and fun! Absolutely Spectacular! That’s the only way to begin this review. Joe Banker Photography with his assistant Ashley could NOT have been a better choice for our wedding. From the first moments of contact with Joe, we were enthralled with his work. Joe was super personable and open to new ideas within the realm of wedding photography. They were easy to contact and work around schedules. Joe and Ashley traveled over 6 hours to provide their services. They were willing to involve our dogs (our fur babies) in the engagement session and focused on getting the best photos out of the session. They even waded into the water for better shots! Joe and Ashley made suggestions about lighting and weather to achieve the best possible service for just starting with our engagement photos. On our wedding day, February 3, 2023, Joe and Ashley went even further above what we expected. Our wedding day was freezing cold with a heavy bitter wind. As a couple we wanted an outdoor winter wedding and Joe Banker Photography was prepared for it! Joe looped back and forth (bearing the cold wind) between the bridal party and groomsmen party to include everyone in the preparations. Ashley stayed with the bride and helped to gather any missing items for the day, along with keeping all the reaction shots a secret until we were ready for them. They went beyond their call of service to help the groom with his boutonniere and the bride with her veil. With the heavy wind, there was concern about hair getting ruined and the outdoor photos not looking perfect. They both made every possible effort to snap all the important photos before the weather could beat us. Joe and Ashley were able to snap photos with natural reactions and made the nervousness of being photographed easier for the whole wedding party and guests. They took on the bitter cold wind and made sure to force the bride inside when she started to turn colors from being too cold. They were flexible about getting all the shots we wanted and shots we didn’t know we wanted. Joe and Ashley were extremely excited to experiment with specific locations and types of photos we wanted. They were excited and willing to try to take some photography shots that they had never done before! We HIGHLY recommend Joe Banker Photography and could not ask for a better service.

My husband and I are not super comfortable around the camera but Joe and Ashley made it feel effortless. We are so thankful to them for capturing our big day. They were professional, helpful, and got the best shots of our big day.

I can’t express how much I loved working with them! Absolutely amazing. Joe and Ashley made everything so fun and light! My husband and I aren’t photo people but Joe was able to capture the best pictures and the best moments of our day! He made us feel comfortable the whole time. His work is absolutely beautiful. Don’t look anywhere else! You need them for your wedding! We got pictures and a video made. I’ve probably watch the video like 30 time already and I cry every time. It is absolutely perfect. Ashley is amazing with the video camera.

First off, we had a loud and opinionated group and they handled that better than most people could 😂 It was a long day but they didn’t miss a beat. Got all the pictures we wanted and then some. Amazing quality. They caught all the details. I received back a TON of amazing pictures much quicker than I anticipated. They made the experience enjoyable for everyone.

Our photos turned out so beautifully and looked very natural/candid. We took our photos in the fall, and the shots are perfectly framed by the beautiful leaves. Joe and Ashley were an absolute pleasure to work with! Before our wedding Joe was always available to chat through ideas and answer all my questions. Ahead of the wedding, Joe and Ashley scouted out all beautiful locations near the wedding to ensure we had beautiful pictures and we didn’t waste time looking for the “right spots”. I have a very large family and Joe and Ashley were able to make sure we got all the family portraits in a very tight timeframe. We worked with Joe Banker for our wedding in May 2022 and we’re so happy with the results! Joe did a really nice job with our engagement photos, and Joe and Ashley as a team captured our wedding day so well! They were easy to communicate with throughout the process, showed up on time for the wedding, and used a really convenient online portal for us to download and share our photos. We received over 800 photos from our wedding day and we love all of them!

Joe + Ashley were fantastic to work with! We couldn’t have chosen a better photographer for our wedding. We’re not used to getting professional photos done, but Joe + Ashley made us feel comfortable and kept everything running smoothly. They know what poses look good, and the pictures look amazing! It (sadly) rained on our wedding day, but they were prepared, brought umbrellas, and made the best out of it. Some of our favorite photos of the day were under that umbrella :). Joe’s also super fast and got our finished pictures back to us in less than a month. We couldn’t recommend them more, thanks again for helping make our day so great!!

Joe and Ashley did a fantastic job with our wedding pictures. We hired them for full coverage from the last minutes of getting ready to the end of the reception. Aside from the standard "wedding pictures" of family, bridal party, etc, my wife and I did not have much in the way of photo inspiration. We let them use their artistic liberty, and we adventured around the campus at our venue. The result was a gallery that is beautiful, diverse, and emotionally charged. Not only do they deliver an incredible product, but Joe and Ashley are a pleasure themselves. The whole way they had an excited energy about taking photos that shows they have passion in addition to skills. If you're on the fence about picking your photographer(s), you won't regret picking Joe Banker Photography!

Joe and Ashley were the best! Joe sent us some sneak peaks of our wedding photos and I am so happy about them. I cannot wait to see the rest. Joe and Ashley were able to capture the day and every big moment. We were able to trust them for guidance on pictures and made all of it very easy to do (especially since my husband doesn't like getting his pictures taken). Joe and Ashley went with the flow throughout the day. They worked so well together and we are happy to have used them for our May 28th wedding!

Joe was absolutely incredible for our beach wedding on Hilton Head Island. So much fun to work with! We are pretty laid back and didn't have any specific pictures in mind so he just came up with creative fun shots to capture our special day. We got all our pictures back quicker than I expected and they are incredible. I can't say enough about his professionalism and skills. I highly recommend, thank you Joe!

Photography was one of my top priorities when planning our wedding. I spent a lot of time researching and interviewing photographers and instantly felt comfortable talking to Joe. Joe and Ashley were absolutely phenomenal on our wedding day! They captured every moment perfectly, and had a true eye for perfection. Ashley and Joe had so many detail oriented shots that stood out against other photos we have seen. They also asked for our input on specific shots we wanted & made sure those were done at the right times (sunset photos, etc). They would get all the angles and make sure not a strand of hair was out of place! I would highly recommend Joe and Ashley for your wedding!

Honestly, things with Joe couldn't have been better. He was the perfect balance of professional and relatable, a very easy guy to work with. His partner was a huge help as well and they make a great team. At no point did I feel like he was all about "the contract" and instead I could tell he was about getting what he needed to put together a great shot. And it showed! I'm definitely going to be biased, but I think my wife and I received the absolute best wedding shots compared to so many other's I've seen. Joe has a great eye for the perfect candid shot, his editing is simple but effective and everything he does complements the final product. Go with Joe.

Joe is a great choice if you are looking for a wedding photographer! We first saw his website portfolio and based on the pictures we saw, we knew we wanted him to shoot our wedding. His pictures stood out to us because they are sharp without being overly touched up using too many filters making them look almost fake! On top of his ability to take great photos, we really appreciated that he was really easy to get along with and flexible around our schedule and with what we wanted to do for the wedding and engagement photos. It was clear he cares about his work and it shows in his pictures. He even caught a bad case of poison ivy marching through a field trying to get the perfect angle for our engagement photos! You really can’t go wrong with Joe. You’ll love your pictures and enjoy your time working with him!

I can not recommend Joe & Ashley enough! They captured our day beautifully and were soo helpful (Ashley fixed my shoe when it broke 15 minutes before the ceremony). The pictures were beautifully edited, and we got them back within a month of our big day. I loved how they really captured us as a couple. Wish I could give them more than 5 stars!!!

Greatly enjoyed working with Joe. He explained his schedule and plans for the big day clearly, was great at organizing poses as well as capturing natural moments as they happened from the first look to the reception, and put up with our constant requests for group photos toward the end of the night. Joe (and Ashley!) were a pleasure to work with on our wedding day. The photos turned out stunning, with a natural feel. We were provided a very nice variety of documentary-style images, nice candids, and family/bridal portraits. Joe gave us ideas for photo locations but also was open to where we were inspired by. As a person who would NEVER claim to be photogenic, Joe guided us with great direction to get the shots we needed. Ashley thought of the smallest but important details with all our jewelry, shoes, veil, and DIY decorations. Do not hesitate to hire Joe and Ashley.

Amazing to work with - due to Covid we changed our date and then 3 weeks before changed our venue and he never blinked! Very easy to communicate with via text/email. Great photographs and despite the fact it rained our whole reception he did a great job improvising and capturing awesome memories!

Joe & Ashley did an absolutely amazing job with our wedding photos. Communication was great throughout our engagement that was extended due to Covid-19. The day was captured incredibly in our posed photos, but oh my gosh the candid photos were so much more than I could have expected. They really know how to capture the whole scene, and we are so happy (obsessed) with how they all turned out.

We've ordered numerous prints and calendar from Joe's photos as gifts for family members as well, and all have been great quality! He's extremely reasonably priced, and even brought an extra member of his team to help capture our day because of how the timing worked out. Joe was AMAZING. Joe did both our engagement photos and our wedding photos and we could not have been happier. Joe was attentive, inventive and he was able to really capture my husband and I as we are. Joe and his assistant were a pleasure to work with on the day of our wedding, they captured moments we didn't know we would want, but now cherish.

Joe Banker came recommended to us from another friend, and bride, who had used Joe for her wedding. He was super easy to work with, as we communicated primarily over email and through digital programs (contract, payment, setup). He was so accommodating to work with, as our wedding plans took a bit to come together due to the stress of covid. And he was even more understanding when we were re-planning the week before our wedding day for a different location altogether, in the unpredictable climate of Cleveland. Joe got all the shots we cared about and braved the 40 degree windy weather to get amazing lake-side pictures of us, too, along with the friends and family members we invited to join us for our intimate ceremony. Joe was efficient, easy-going, and a true joy to have there to capture our day. Joe was so quick to turn around our picture gallery and edits, even after sharing some sneak peeks, just in time for Christmas. He got great live photos from the ceremony, group shots and candids. We can't recommend him enough and pray he'll be available to capture more pictures and memories when we have a post-covid celebration, when we're safely able to dance, drink and hug the rest of our friends and family. Could not have asked for a better photographer! Communication was so easy with joe; he was always prompt with responses and accommodating to everything we needed. Our engagement pictures turned out so awesome and our wedding was even better. We appreciated that he gave us a discount for my husband being a police officer.
