About this vendor
Historical wedding venue located in Malabar, 10 minutes south of Melbourne, East Coast of Central Florida.
We are the LARGEST HISTORIC VENUE in Brevard County with indoor, AC/heated space for up to 150 of your guests and the ONLY VENUE that offers a dedicated indoor ceremony space under air, making YEAR ROUND events possible. With our exclusive WEATHER CONTINGENCY PLAN, you can rest easy knowing you and your guests will be comfortable on any date you choose.
Built in 1927 in the Collegiate Gothic architectural style (like Harvard University) as the original two-room School House in Brevard County, it features soaring ceilings, open airy spaces, plentiful original windows providing beautiful natural light at all hours, polished hardwood floors and touches of elegance such as vintage chandeliers and oversized mirrors.
Hidden on 2.5 acres of manicured grounds and surrounded by 350 acres of natural Florida preserve, the Estate is completely private and exclusive. The venue is named after the mature Banyan Tree that graces the property. Banyan trees are also known as the Tree of Life, representing immortality and considered "God's shelter" with aerial roots and a large crowned canopy.
Our elegant spaces are a perfect backdrop to wedding styles from elegant, vintage or rustic, garden or family style to formal black tie affairs.

This venue was perfect for our daughter's wedding. The grounds and property were simply beautiful. Our wedding coordinator, KC, was easy to work with and so helpful. She was qui...
ck to respond to us and open to hearing our ideas. The wedding day was after the hurricane blew through Florida and she was quick to reassure us that everything was okay and moving forward on their end. As the parents of the bride, we were especially grateful how well she took care of our daughter on the big day. She made sure she had appetizers between the ceremony and the reception and even helped her bustle her dress. We were very pleased with our special day at the Banyan Estate.
Everything went perfect. The venue offers both an inside and outside location, both are beautiful. Plenty of space for those wanting to party and another room for people wanting ...
to chill out a bit more. Rachel the planner was fantastic and helped to make sure all details went smoothly.
From the moment that Zach and I met Tom and Joanne, we knew The Banyan Estate was something special. You cannot help but fall in love with this mint green, vintage schoolhouse. We ...
opted to have our wedding in the Loft Upstairs. There is just something so beautiful about a room with a ton of tall windows and beautiful vintage chandeliers. We booked a photographer that was unfamiliar with Banyan, we did our engagement photos there as well. Tom and Joanne were more than flexible with allowing us to do that. They are quick to reply to any questions or concerns you may have; and they honestly sold us on Banyan the moment we stepped in. My husband and I highly recommend you checking this place out. Trust me – it is totally worth it!
If I could put more stars I would. Banyan Estates gave us the perfect space for our wedding and made our dream wedding a reality. Tom and Joanne will make sure every single thing i...
s taken care of. I wish I could do it all over again, and again, and again. I HIGHLY recommend this venue to celebrate the best day of your life! Thank you Banyan for the most amazing day!
Our experience at the Banyan Estate was all positive!! It’s a stunning property with classic, timeless beauty. It’s the perfect spot for a brunch wedding with all the natural light...

work with and quick with responses. They made planning our wedding from out of state very simple and easy. We would highly recommend this venue and their preferred vendors! Our wedding was a beautiful day we will always remember at the Banyan Estate.
Vendors were always punctual, easy to work with. Cared about the wedding and you more than the price. We rented the upstairs for bridesmaids to get ready which Joanne set everythin...
g up for us I didn’t have to lift a finger. They made sure the AC was low for the whole thing and even added a large fan while dancing for the reception. The venue is gorgeous. I did rent gold chairs for reception but didn’t have to bring in many other things.
From the moment we met Tom and Joanne, we connected with them. They provide a turnkey event solution, all the vendors are connected for a seamless experience. This allowed us to ...
focus on the beautiful celebration of our daughter's wedding. They showed great attention to detail and were responsive to any concern, adapting on the fly to our late addition of a cigar bar without missing a beat.
The venue itself is a beautiful old building with a top floor for dressing, salon for cocktails and a main hall which allows for eating and dancing. Banyan Estate also sits on an extensive piece of property with space for all manner of outdoor additions to the party, like games or the previously mentioned cigar bar. It offers so many possibilities and allows the event to flow from room to room.
If you are looking for a unique experience with old Florida charm and wonderful hosts, Banyan Estate will not disappoint.
As an event space, Banyan Tree Estates is a beautiful and versatile venue that can easily accommodate a ceremony and reception no matter what the weather is. Our theme was vintage ...
travel, and Banyan was the perfect backdrop. Unlike other venues, we felt like Tom and Joanne, truly cared about your day and our party. They were involved in every step of the process, and made our day very special. We wish we could get married again!
I cannot say enough great things about Tom and Joanne and the Banyan Estate! From the very first day when we toured the property, it was clear this was where we wanted our dream we...
dding to take place. The owners were open to allowing us to make the space truly our own with a lot of our own decor and vendors. They worked closely with my planner and helped the day run so smoothly. The multiple rooms allowed our larger guest count to freely mingle in the space and still feel a part of the action. The grounds are kept perfect and became the best backdrop for all of our group photos. I couldn’t have pictured a more perfect setting for my dream wedding and we are forever grateful to them!
Beautiful setting and well taken care of. Plus the owners are very easy to work with.
Our wedding was October 20, 2018. All I can say is it was an amazing day! Banyan Estate was the first and only place we looked at. We knew right away that this was the place to hav...
e our wedding. The natural beauty of Banyan is what drew us to have our wedding there along with Joanne and Tom. We booked with Banyan around July of 2017 and throughout the whole process and time, Joanne and Tom were amazing to work with. They worked so hard the day of our wedding and to see their interaction with our guests/family was delightful. I think at one point during our reception, I remember seeing Tom standing by the steps offering a hand to those coming down the steps who had there meals in hand. They were both very helpful and kind. We can't thank them enough for making our day special.
Can’t say enough about my seamless experience with The Banyan Estate and it’s darling owners, Tom and Joanne. They were so caring and determined to make my day everything I wanted ...
it to be, I can’t thank them enough. Having created such a simple yet magical vibe, the possibilities here are endless!
I cannot say enough great things about the Banyan Estate!

m someone I knew (side note: many years ago, I played volleyball with Tom & Joanne's daughter and they remembered me)! We all wanted to make the day as special as possible, but they really put their best efforts with all of their couples.
All throughout the process, Tom and Joanne were extremely helpful and responsive. We asked so many questions and they had an answer for everything. In the days prior to the wedding, Joanne and I talked at least once a day to make sure everything was being set up the way we would like it.
On the day of the wedding, everything was already in motion for being set up by Tom, Joanne, and our planner, Jackie. All we had to do was show up and have a great time! Everything exceeded expectations - the lawn was perfectly cut, the inside was clean & sparkling, and the assisted parking team was on point. I can't get over how well-put together everything was and how much love was in the building all evening. Thank you, Tom and Joanne! <3
We can’t say enough good things about our experience and wedding at Banyan. Tom and Joanne were a pleasure and delight to work with. We chose Banyan the day we saw it, perfect in e...
very way. Beautiful, great price point and exactly what I wanted for our venue. We live in Chicago so the whole time we were planing the wedding we had to do it from afar. Communication was open and easy with Tom and Joanne at all times. Not for a moment did I worry about what my wedding would be like at Banyan.
So wedding day: We rented the 2nd floor to get ready in the morning, ceremony at a nearby church and then back to Banyan for the reception. Every aspect of how my wedding looked was exactly what I envisioned and Tom and Joanne where there from beginning to the end of the day.
We highly recommend Banyan Estates and I hope you can find your perfect wedding there just like I did.
Scott and I knew Banyan was 'The Place' from the first time we walked in. The owners were so hospitable, and went above and beyond to make sure our Wedding Day was more perfect in...
every way. It really was a dream come true.
