Bar H Ranch is a farm wedding venue near the coast in Leland, North Carolina, just a short drive from Wilmington in Brunswick County. If you want a wedding that feels peaceful, authentic, and perfect for photos, our working farm offers wide-open views, a pond-front setting, and open pastures with horses and cows, along with the practical amenities couples need most.
One of the things our couples appreciate most is having plenty of time. With our Weekend Wedding Experience, you have access from Saturday at 8:00 AM until Sunday at noon. This means you can decorate without feeling rushed, let your vendors arrive at their own pace, and clean up more easily. Music wraps up at 10:00 PM, guests leave by 11:00 PM, and vendors can finish loading out by midnight. If you ask when you book, we can also arrange a Friday rehearsal or dry run to help your wedding day go smoothly.
You can host your wedding indoors or outdoors, with several ceremony spots to choose from, like two pergolas, a pond deck, or the indoor barn. Receptions can take place inside the barn or outside on the grounds. We also provide a bridal dressing room, a separate space for the groom, on-site bathrooms (no trailers), on-site parking, and a catering kitchen for your vendors.
Bar H Ranch serves beer and wine only. Alcohol is not included in the rental price, but you can hire a staff bartender for an additional fee. We do not include tables, chairs, or place settings, so you can pick the rental company and style that match your vision. If you want to stay on-site, we offer an optional Overnight Suite for up to 4 guests, and it’s included with our Friday to Sunday package if you request it at the time of booking.
